Nonlinear propagation properties of ion-acoustic solitary and rogue waves are investigated with the use of a quantum plasma model composed of degenerate (Fermi) positrons and electrons gas with negative and positive ions as classical fluid gas. The Korteweg-de Vries equation is derived using the reductive perturbation technique to study its solitary solution. The nonlinear Schrödinger equation has been transformed from the Korteweg-de Vries equation and its rational solution describes the rogue wave. The ion-acoustic rogue and solitary waves have been numerically analyzed to examine the effects of the plasma parameters on the phase velocity and the behavior of the solitary and rogue waves. Negative ions density and mass, in addition to the density and temperature of the Fermi positrons and electrons, are checked. The results of this study can be applied in the dense (quantum) plasma in technological applications and astrophysics, such as in magnetars corona and white dwarfs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

(G0=G)-expansion method is examined to solve the Boiti-Leon- Pempinelli (BLP) system and the (2 + 1)-dimensional breaking soliton system. The results show that this method is a powerful tool for solving systems of nonlinear PDEs., it presents exact travelling wave solutions. In this paper, the time-dependent cylindrical Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers equation has been derived using hydrodynamic equations with the Poisson equation for nonextensive ultracold neutral plasmas containing ions and nonextensive electrons, various kinds of analytical solutions have been obtained for cylindrical Korteweg-de Vries- Burgers equation using extended homogeneous balance method. Numerical analysis for the nonlinear shock wave solution revealed that its profile is significantly affected by nonextensive and the ion temperature. This theoretical study could provide a better frame-idea about the laboratory plasma systems as observed in the space for the astrophysical compact objects. This study also shows that further deep investigations are needed in future for better understanding of the nonlinear wave propagation for astrophysical compact objects in space. The propagation of dust ion acoustic waves (DIAWs) for two-temperature ions with isothermal electrons in dusty plasmas has been investigated. Using the reductive perturbation method, the Gardner equation is derived. Many analytical solutions have been presented for small but finite amplitude acoustic waves, e.g. solitary and shocklike waves. The effects of many parameters on the feature of the shocklike waves have been studied for the dusty plasma system. The results of this study could be helpful for understanding the existence of nonlinear potential structures those are observed in various cosmic dust-laden plasmas, such as Saturn's E-ring, noctilucent clouds, Halley's comet and interstellar molecular clouds. The nonlinear propagation of acoustic waves in electron-hole semiconductor plasmas is studied. For this purpose, the reductive perturbation method is employed to the basic equations obtaining the Gardner equation. The nonlinear solitary and freak waves in a plasma composed of positive and negative ions, superthermal electrons, ion beam, and stationary dust particles have been investigated. The reductive perturbation method is used to obtain the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation describing the system. The latter admits solitary wave solution, while the dynamics of the modulationally unstable wavepackets described by the KdV equation gives rise to the formation of freak/rogue excitation described by the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. In order to show that the characteristics of solitary and freak waves are influenced by plasma parameters, relevant numerical analysis of appropriate nonlinear solutions are presented. The hydrodynamic equations of positive and negative ions, degenerate electrons, and the Poisson equation are used along with the reductive perturbation method to derive the three-dimensional Zakharov–Kuznetsov (ZK) equation. The G′/G-expansion method is used to obtain a new class of solutions for the ZK equation. At certain condition, these solutions can describe the solitary waves that propagate in our plasma. The effects of negative ion concentrations, the positive/negative ion cyclotron frequency, as well as positive-to-negative ion mass ratio on solitary pulses are examined.
