الاختلالات والأَزمات الماليَّة والاقتصادية المستمرة التي يعاني منها اقتصاديات الدول الريعيّة يلزم تلك الدول بالبحث عن أسباب ذلك وبيان طرائق وحلول ملائمة لمعالجة تلك الاختلالات ولاسيَّما العجز المالي في الموازنات العامة لهم، وبذلك تهدف الدراسة إِلى قياس وتحليل أثر العوائد النفطية ومصادر الدخل الأُخرى غير النفطية في مؤشرات الاستدامة الماليَّة في مجموعة بلدان مجلس التعاون الخليجي. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها وجود علاقة عكسية ومعنوية بين إِجمالي الإِيرادات النفطية بوصفه نسبة من الناتج المحلي الإِجمالي والاستدامة الماليَّة والمعبرة عنها بعجز الموازنة العامة وفائضها بوصفه نسبة من الناتج المحلي الإِجمالي وعند مستوى معنوية أقل من (5%)، أَي أَنَّ زيادة إِجمالي الإِيرادات النفطية بنسبة (1%) سيؤدي إِلى انخفاض عجز الموازنة العامة بنسبة (0.372-%). ووجود علاقة طردية ومعنوية بين إِجمالي الإِيرادات الأُخرى بوصفه نسبة من الناتج المحلي الإِجمالي وعجز الموازنة العامة وفائضها بوصفه نسبة من الناتج المحلي الإِجمالي. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة إيجاد السبل اللازمة لزيادة الواردات غير النفطية، نظراً لأَنَّ الموارد الطبيعية تعد ناضبة ومحدودة، فضلاً عن طبيعة التقلبات في أَسعارها، وإجراء الإصلاحات الهيكلية في تنويع مصادر الدخل وخلق البيئة التي تمكن من تحقيق الازدهار في الإِنتاج والتصدير غير النفطي، الأَمر الذي من شأنه يُسهم في الحد من تعرض الإِيرادات العامة للتقلبات، ولغرض استعادة استدامة السياسة الماليَّة ينبغي تنويع مصادر الدخل في دول عينة الدراسة وذلك من خلال تنشيط جميع القطاعات الاقتصادية الَّتي ستقود إِلى تنويع الدخل وتحسين مستوى القدرة التنافسية وتقليل اعتماد الدولة على المورد الناضب.

"تعد ظاهرة التسول من أكثر الظواهر الاجتماعية انتشاراً في العالم وقلما يوجد مجتمع يخلوا منها بسبب قدرتها على التخفي بأشكال متعددة، فهي نتاج الحضارة الإنسانية ومن نتاج الفوارق الطبيعية بحسب الفترات التي مر بها العالم وتقسيماته الى دول غنية ودول فقيرة. ان العامل الاسري يمارس دوراً اساسياً في تفعيل ظاهرة التسول لاسيما عند الأطفال فعادةً الطفل يتماهى مع البيئة التي يحيا في وسطها ولغياب عامل المقارنة مع الغير بسبب ضعف مستوى الادراك لديه يصبح الواقع الذي يعيشه مقبولاً وفي بعض الأحيان حتى يكون مثالياً، وهناك مؤثرات مباشرة في تفعيل ظاهرة التسول والتي تشمل المؤثرات الاقتصادية والمؤثرات الاجتماعية والمؤثرات السكيولوجية ومدى تداخلها في تعزيز ظاهرة التسول. "

ان جريمة البغاء هي جريمة من نوع اخر ترتكب بشكل خفي بعيد عن اعين الناس ولا تظهر فيها مباشرة اثار على المجتمع ولا تهدد الناس في حياتهم ولا تهدد الناس في حياتهم واموالهم غير انها تسبب اثار سلبية على البناء الأخلاقي والعقائدي للمجتمع من خلال تشجيعها للرذيلة والانحلال القيمي والأخلاقي في العلاقات الاجتماعية بين الرجال والنساء بصورة باتت معدلاتها مرشحة نحو التصاعد في قطرنا العزيز، ومثل هذا النوع من الجرائم تتجلى بوضوح في جرائم البغاء وقد تناولت هذه الدراسة اطاراً منهجياً حدد فيها مشكلة الدراسة، واهمية الدراسة واهداف الدراسة والمفاهيم والمصطلحات التي تتعلق بهذه الدراسة، وقد تناولت الدراسة على الشروط الأساسية لقيام هذه الجريمة منها الركن المادي، والركن المعنوي، وركن الاعتياد على البغاء، وكذلك تناولت الفرق بين البغاء والجريمة، ومخاطر جريمة البغاء على المجتمع، وتناولت الحلول والتوصيات ومن ثم ذلك الخاتمة. "

على الرغم من التقدم الذي احرزته الدول على الأصعدة كافة لاسيما التخطيط الحضري – مدار البحث - لمدنها وما توصلت اليه من تصاميم اساسية من تطور جعلت الحياة الحضرية أكثر سهولة من الناحية المكانية (المادية) غير أنَّ هناك قصور كبير في الجوانب الاجتماعية (المعنوية)، فقد اضحت أغلب المدن اليوم لوحة فنية رائعة لا روح لها، وأصبح الفرد يعيش فيها بعزلة اجتماعية ونفسية وعلاقات ثانوية مع أقرب من يجاوره مكانياً. وينطبق هذا الواقع نفسه اليوم في المدن العراقية عموماً ومدينة الموصل – منطقة الدراسة - على وجه الخصوص، فعلى الرغم من أن أصحاب القرار التخطيطي حاولوا أن يجسدوا وما توصل اليه مخططي المدن الغربيين من أفكار تصميمية في واقع المدن العراقية بحيث أصبحت المدن العراقية في النصف الثاني من القرن الماضي من أجمل المدن العربية ومدينة الموصل احدى أجمل المدن العراقية، غير أنَّهم في ذات الوقت أهملوا الجانب الاجتماعي الذي يعد من الأهمية بمكان أن عرف الفرد (العراقي – العربي) بعلاقاته الاجتماعية المتينة مع محيطه المكاني والاجتماعي، ليصبح اليوم يعيش في عزلة اجتماعية ونفسية وجعلته ينطوي على نفسه وأسرته الصغيرة. وما زاد الامر تعقيداً في مدينة الموصل جملة من الأحداث التي مرت بها لاسيما بـــــعد (الاحتلال الامريكي للعراق عام 2003) وما خلفه من انفلات أمني وانتشار لعصابات القتل والجريمة المنظمة إدى الى زيادة كبيرة في معدلات الجريمة ، كما كان لأحداث (غزو تنظيم داعش الارهابي لمدينة الموصل عام 2014، وحرب التحرير المباركة ضد داعش عام 2017) أثر مهما في دمار البنية التخطيطية والاجتماعية لمدينة الموصل، الامر الذي تطلب من الباحثين في هذا المجال تقديم الأفكار المناسبة من أجل اعادة بلورة الفكر التخطيطي للقائمين على المدن وتحقيق أفضل تصميم لمدينة الموصل يؤخذ فيها بالحسبان الناحيتين (المادية والاجتماعية).

COVID-19 forced many nations, including the largest country in the Arabian Gulf region, Saudi Arabia, to fast-track the adoption of new technologies and work practices to cope with the pandemic. We find the Saudi Ministry of Health (SMoH), in less than a year, introduced several innovations to transform healthcare planning, management and delivery. We reflect on these changes in the Saudi Arabian context and suggest what needs to be done next to retain the developmental momentum generated in the innovation system beyond the pandemic for sustainable and positive impact on the healthcare system. To do so, the Ministry should regularly assess the appetite for change, prioritise problems and areas of intervention, collect evidence of need and impact, build confidence by educating the public and healthcare professionals about the importance of adapting to new ways and methods of healthcare delivery, collaborate with the private sector to efficiently sustain these advancements and gain the public's trust through stakeholder participation. Group control charts are used for the statistical control of multiple stream processes. Recently, a modified control chart based on the residuals from each stream has been proposed as an alternative charting scheme. This research examines the performance of these charts under varying combinations of shift magnitudes and number of streams affected. Several simulated scenarios were generated and used to evaluate the long-term performance of the two schemes in terms of the average run length. Statistical analysis of the results indicated that the modified chart has an advantage over the traditional group chart in terms of the rate of false alarms. Quick look analysis was performed in five (5) wells across a depobelt in the Niger Delta region, Nigeria using lithology (gamma), porosity (sonic, neutron and density) and saturation (resistivity) logs to infer six possible hydrocarbon plays. These plays showed good hydrocarbon saturation with a thickness between 11ft (3.35m) and 120ft (36.58m) that occur at a depth from 6223.5ft (1896.93m) to 11216.5ft (3418.79m). The average estimated porosity falls between 21.8% to 33.7% and the average volume of shale reported between 0.072 to 0.187, indicating sandstone reservoirs with good porosity. Water saturation was then estimated using Archie and modified Archie's equations from Pickett's plot. The original oil in place (OOIP) derived from Archie's (445.299 bbl. to 1488.735 bbl.) and Pickett's (150.120 bbl. to 1290.596 bbl.) techniques were compared showing a percentage difference between 5.30% to 86.28%. Archie's equation overestimated the original oil in place (OOIP) values across the reserves in the study area. Porosity exponent from Pickett's was between 1.74 to 2.09 as compared to Archie's constant of 2. The variation of the porosity exponent across the study area is attributed to the variations in shape of grains and pores, type of grain, pore system and overburden pressure. This influence is clearly seen from the Buckle's plot, which was used to delineate the variation using Buckle's number, and subsequently compared with the standard values for sandstones. This study highlighted the importance of porosity exponent and apparent formation water resistivity for estimation of water saturation, formation factor and in consequence the reserves. Background: Burnout is a chronic stress-related syndrome with the three dimensions of exhaustion, cynicism, and inefficacy. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are defined as a musculoskeletal strain reported by an individual. Burnout is prevalent among Saudi medical students. Many studies have found that burnout is associated with a higher prevalence of MSDs. To the best of our knowledge, there is no study that has assessed the prevalence of burnout among students of health care colleges in Saudi Arabia and its correlation to MSDs and compared the results of each health care college to the other. Hence, this is the aim of this study. Methods: A cross-sectional study of 392 students of health care colleges in Taif University was carried out from April 2019 to May 2019, using a predesigned questionnaire, including sociodemographic characteristics, the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) Questionnaire to assess the degree of burnout, and Standardized Nordic Questionnaires for the analysis of musculoskeletal symptoms. Results: 48.7% of the students of health care colleges had burnout and 64.8% of them had MSDs. We did not detect a statistically significant association between burnout prevalence and sociodemographic characteristics. There was a significant association between burnout and the MSDs, as 34.2% of the students with a high degree of burnout had MSDs. Conclusions: Burnout, as well as MSDs, are prevalent among students of health care colleges. Burnout seems to be a risk factor for MSDs.
