In this article, the sine-Gordon expansion method is employed to find some new traveling wave solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the coefficients of both group velocity dispersion and second-order spatiotemporal dispersion. The nonlinear model is reduced to an ordinary differential equation by introducing an intelligible wave transformation. A set of new exact solutions are observed corresponding to various parameters. These novel soliton solutions are depicted in figures, revealing the new physical behavior of the acquired solutions. The method proves its ability to provide good new approximate solutions with some applications in science. Moreover, the associated solution of the presented method can be extended to solve more complex models.

This paper presents an investigation into solutions of two types of nonlinear Schrödinger equations of logarithmic form. This model is of particular interest to researchers due to its vast application in the field of the implication of nanofibers. Through a comprehensive analysis, it was found that the solutions take the form of Gaussian-type solitary solutions. These solutions possess a variety of new structures due to the presence of many arbitrary constants and time-dependent functions in their general expressions. By fixing these constants and functions appropriately, Gaussian solitary waves for nonlinear perturbed Schrödinger equations can be represented, which could be beneficial in understanding the dynamics of these equations in nanooptical fibers. A large family of explicit exact solutions to both Korteweg- de Vries and modified Korteweg- de Vries equations are determined by the implementation of the new extended direct algebraic method. The procedure starts by reducing both equations to related ODEs by compatible travelling wave transforms. The balance between the highest degree nonlinear and highest order derivative terms gives the degree of the finite series. Substitution of the assumed solution and some algebra results in a system of equations are found. The relation between the parameters is determined by solving this system. The solutions of travelling wave forms determined by the application of the approach are represented in explicit functions of some generalized trigonometric and hyperbolic functions and exponential function. Some more solutions with different characteristics are also found.

This paper generates a novel approach called the clique polynomial method (CPM) using the clique polynomials raised in graph theory and used for solving the fractional order PDE. The fractional derivative is defined in terms of the Caputo fractional sense and the fractional partial differential equations (FPDE) are converted into nonlinear algebraic equations and collocated with suitable grid points in the current approach. The convergence analysis for the proposed scheme is constructed and the technique proved to be uniformly convegant. We applied the method for solving four problems to justify the proposed technique. The paper deals with the application of a strong method called the modified Mickens iteration technique which is used for solving a strongly nonlinear system. The system describes the motion of a simple mathematical pendulum with a particle attached to it through a stretched wire. This model has great applications especially in the area of nonlinear vibrations and oscillation systems. The proposed method depends on determining the frequency and amplitude of the system through the modified Mickens iterative approach which is a modification of the regular Mickens approach. The preliminaries of the proposed technique are present and the application to the model is discussed. The method depends on the Mickens iteration approach which transforms the considered equation into a linear form and then is solving this equation result in the approximate solution. Some examples are given to validate and illustrate the effectiveness and convenience of the method. These results are compared with other relative techniques from the literature in terms of finding the frequency of the two examined models. The method produces more accurate results when compared to these methods and is considered a strong candidate for solving other nonlinear problems with applications in science and engineering.
