This systematic review presents a pioneering analysis of advanced technology applications in the luxury industry, proposing a structured framework for effective integration across various supply chain and consumer journey stages. The study ensured a refined and comprehensive literature review by employing unique keywords derived from a preliminary exploration of technologies in retail and marketing. Our framework categorizes technologies according to their supply chain roles and highlights their impact on consumer perceptions, preferences, and purchasing decisions. The findings reveal a growing trend of luxury brands adopting advanced technologies to enhance customer experiences, boost operational efficiency, foster sustainable practices, and reinforce market positioning. This research contributes to sustainable supply chain management and ethical consumerism in the luxury sector by aligning technological innovation with sustainability and core luxury values. It provides actionable insights for industry practitioners and identifies future research directions, marking this study as a first‐mover in advancing academic understanding and industry practice in luxury technology integration. While various enablers or inhibitors of advanced technology adoption have been identified, scholars rarely investigate how construction practitioners' attitudes toward innovation may affect their behaviour. This study aims to investigate (1) how the characterizations of innovation are perceived by construction practitioners; (2) and how may these perceptions affect their companies' adoption of advanced technology in projects. Data was collected from greater Melbourne Australia through semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate when advanced technology is presented as an incremental innovation, a form of innovation that only leads to small and gradual practice changes, construction practitioners and their respective companies generally welcome its adoption. However, if a particular type of advanced technology is perceived as a radical innovation, a form of innovation that can lead to a substantial change in practice and unpredictable outcomes, construction practitioners may resist its adoption. This study reveals successful implementation of advanced technology is not dependent on the organization's capability, but their motivation to change. With limitations about the sample size and location of data collection, the findings of this study improve our understanding about the organizations' behavior of advanced technology adoption. The smart warehouse is one of many technologies that increase warehouse management efficiency, for instance, increasing accuracy and reducing operating costs and processing times. Smart warehouse technologies are expected to be critical factors for effectively entering the fourth industrial revolution in Thailand. Currently, the utilization of smart warehouses in Thailand is not widespread; however, many organizations view such technologies as integral parts that will change the entire industry in Thailand. This research project explores and analyzes innovative warehouse technologies and their requirements for various industry sectors in Thailand. In addition, both qualitative and quantitative methods are employed to gather data. In-depth interviews of executives and warehouse managers are conducted, together with self-administered questionnaire surveys, to both smart warehouse users and providers. TOWS Analysis is applied to identify appropriate strategic options. Policy recommendations to effectively improve the unitization of smart and innovative warehouse technologies are also discussed.

Advocating for a holistic approach, it suggests combining legal frameworks, ethical codes, and educational programs centered on core values. The evolving ethical landscape of immersive technologies reveals varied viewpoints among researchers, with some emphasizing concerns and others highlighting advantages. Additionally, some leverage immersive technologies for ethical education in response to emerging challenges. Post-implementation, ethical challenges and norms contribute to the ongoing expansion of the topic. A closer examination identifies nuanced differences and commonalities between immersive technologies and the Metaverse, emphasizing multifaceted considerations. Legal aspects are thoroughly covered in AR, VR, and MxR technologies, while the Metaverse focuses on identity protection. Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a major threat to global wheat production. Recent reviews of wheat FHB focused on pathology or comprehensive prevention and lacked a summary of advanced detection techniques. Unlike traditional detection and management methods, wheat FHB detection based on various imaging technologies has the obvious advantages of a high degree of automation and efficiency. With the rapid development of computer vision and deep learning technology, the number of related research has grown explosively in recent years. This review begins with an overview of wheat FHB epidemic mechanisms and changes in the characteristics of infected wheat. On this basis, the imaging scales are divided into microscopic, medium, submacroscopic, and macroscopic scales. Then, we outline the recent relevant articles, algorithms, and methodologies about wheat FHB from disease detection to qualitative analysis and summarize the potential difficulties in the practicalization of the corresponding technology. This paper could provide researchers with more targeted technical support and breakthrough directions. Additionally, this paper provides an overview of the ideal application mode of the FHB detection technologies based on multi-scale imaging and then examines the development trend of the all-scale detection system, which paved the way for the fusion of non-destructive detection technologies of wheat FHB based on multi-scale imaging. Applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have rapidly emerged in the design of metal jewelry through 3D printing, which was used in the formation of precious metals, and with the variety of jewelry designs and shapes that require time and effort for implementation, especially if there is a need to create special or valuable pieces or to reproduce rare pieces. Therefore, it was important to study the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the changes it brought about, and how to benefit from the advanced technologies for forming metal jewelry in light of molecular engineering. To facilitate the implementation of interwoven and complex shapes and designs inspired by molecular engineering. The research deals with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, its concept, and principles, how it appeared, and the various technologies that emerged with it, as well as its various effects, in addition to the methods of forming metal jewelry and its development from manual and traditional methods to modern and advanced methods. It also deals with molecular engineering and how to benefit from it in forming and implementing metal jewelry through the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to achieve the research goal. Background: The success rates of dental implants are largely dependent on implant instrumentation procedures. It’s still unknown, nevertheless, how successful sophisticated instrumentation techniques are in comparison to older methods. Methods: One hundred patients receiving dental implants participated in a prospective study that was carried out in a tertiary care facility. Random assignments were made to place patients in Group B (advanced instrumentation) or Group A (conventional instrumentation). Following implant implantation, clinical indicators, such as implant stability and peri-implant bone loss, were evaluated on a regular basis. A statistical analysis was conducted in order to compare the results among the groups. Results: Compared to implants placed using conventional procedures (75.2 ± 3.4), implants placed using advanced instrumentation techniques showed considerably improved stability (82.6 ± 2.9) (P < 0.001). Furthermore, there was a statistically significant difference in peri-implant bone loss between the advanced instrumentation group (0.4 ± 0.1 mm) and the traditional instrumentation group (0.8 ± 0.2 mm) (P = 0.003). Conclusion: In summary, current research indicates that, in comparison to conventional methods, sophisticated instrumentation techniques enhance implant stability and decrease peri-implant bone loss. These findings have significant ramifications for implant dentistry clinical procedures as well as patient outcomes.

Municipal wastewater treatment plays an indispensable role in enhancing water quality by eliminating contaminants. While the process is vital, its environmental footprint, especially in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, remains underexplored. Here we offer a comprehensive assessment of GHG emissions from wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) across China. Our analyses reveal an estimated 1.54 (0.92–2.65) × 104 Gg release of GHGs (CO2-eq) in 2020, with a dominant contribution from N2O emissions and electricity consumption. We can foresee a 60–65% reduction potential in GHG emissions with promising advancements in wastewater treatment, such as cutting-edge biological techniques, intelligent wastewater strategies, and a shift towards renewable energy sources.

In the current era of ever-growing globalization, technological progress has become one of the main pillars in changing the perspective of human life. Apart from that, cyber security is also one of the main pillars in efforts to develop Indonesia's digital economy. This study aims to examine the positive and negative impact of advanced technology on Indonesia's National Security Stability. The method used is a descriptive research method carried out qualitatively. This study formulated the efforts that can be taken to maintain the stability of the Indonesian defense and security system in facing the negative impacts of technological developments. Several efforts that can help face the negative impacts of technological developments are the development of cyber defense capabilities, strengthening security and data protection, diversification and strengthening of Human Resources, collaboration with the private sector and universities, and strict supervision and control system. Some of these things must be implemented with continuous commitment and efforts so that Indonesia’s defense and security capabilities can be very resilient and be able very resilient and will continue to grow and get stronger in the future.

In the face of environmental change, high-quality and fine-scale information is essential in order to monitor the highly dynamic environments on land and sea. While traditional approaches to data collection face a number of practical limitations, advanced technologies could supplement and further improve our efforts. Taking sea turtles as a modeling organism, we present a novel methodological framework for monitoring species by means of advanced technologies, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles coupled with image and temperature sensors. Diverse monitoring protocols were refined through pilot studies conducted in both terrestrial and nearshore sea turtle habitats. Our approach focuses on the collection of information for critical biological parameters concerning species reproduction and habitat use, following the complex life cycle of the species. Apart from biological information, our framework encompasses also the collection of information on crucial environmental factors that might be changing due to current and future human-derived pressures, such as beach erosion and temperature profile, as well as highly important human activities such as recreational use within nesting beaches that could undermine habitat quality for the species. This holistic and standardized approach to monitoring using advanced technologies could foster our capacity for conservation, resolving difficulties previously addressed and improving the collection of biological and environmental data in the frame of an adaptive management scheme. Cultivating soybeans holds significant importance in ensuring food security and economic stability. In the context of climate challenges and limited resources, efficient water resource management becomes crucial. This article explores the sustainable approach of drip irrigation in soybean cultivation, specifically in Southeast Romania. Drip irrigation proves effective in Southeast Romania by delivering water directly to the soybean roots, minimizing losses from evaporation and runoff. This contributes to the conservation of water resources in the region. The precise water distribution of drip irrigation ensures uniformity in water supply, preventing both over-irrigation and under-irrigation, with significant benefits for soybean crops in Southeast Romania. Drip irrigation systems are tailored to the soil types and climate conditions present in Southeast Romania, ensuring optimal water usage efficiency. Given the variable weather patterns in the region, the ability of drip irrigation to adapt and respond to changes in climate contributes to the resilience of soybean crops. Through the use of advanced technology and local expertise, customized drip irrigation configurations are implemented to suit the specific needs of soybean cultivation in Southeast Romania. Technology advances are changing how companies and their employees do their respective jobs. The intervention of technology has revolutionized the way jobs are conceptualized, discussed, performed, and delivered. This analysis aims to deliver a summary of the impact of the adoption of advanced technology on job characteristics and the impact on job demand and continuous improvement, which can act as a reference for theorists and practitioners to map, research, and analyze the effect of technology on work systems and productivity. By presenting a systematic review of the literature along with several avenues for future research, we hope that this research will contribute to job demand and ongoing research. A total of 30 articles were reviewed from a total generated article database of 335, which were systematically selected from different academic databases between 2001 and 2021. The review signifies the role of technology in influencing work complexities, privacy, workload, workflow interruptions, manual work, role expectations, and developmental opportunities. Hydrogels have emerged as promising biomaterials for nerve regeneration due to their adjustable properties, structural resemblance to the extracellular matrix, and ability to promote cell adhesion and proliferation. This comprehensive review discusses the advantages, challenges, and future directions of various functional hydrogels. Advanced technologies for fabricating Multistructured hydrogel, including injectable hydrogels, hydrogel microspheres, fibrous hydrogels, 3D printing hydrogels, nanogels, stem cell-loaded hydrogels, electrical hydrogels, ultrasound hydrogels, and magnetic hydrogels, have been developed and studied for nerve regeneration. These technologies demonstrate the versatility of hydrogels in neural tissue repair. However, challenges such as biocompatibility, degradation rates, and scaffold design need to be addressed. Interdisciplinary research is necessary to develop innovative hydrogel systems that overcome these challenges and realize the potential of hydrogels for nerve regeneration. This review provides valuable insights into advanced hydrogel technologies and highlights their potential in regenerative medicine, particularly in neural regeneration. Researchers can use this knowledge to refine therapeutic approaches involving hydrogels for enhancing nerve regeneration.

Our capacity to tackle grand challenges facing humanity depends on collaborative creativity. Increasingly, such collaborative creativity is affected by advanced technology such as mobile technology, virtual communications, and algorithmic computing. We use a temporal lens to study the potential of advanced technology to influence collaborative creativity. Prior studies have found that inner time and social time are critical for collaborative creativity. To creatively and purposefully contribute to collaboration, inner time—a temporal capacity to reflect on actions, meaning, and consequences over time—is required. Also necessary is social time—the time spent with others—to practice giving and taking of multivocal ideas and perspectives. What has not been well scrutinized in the organization and management literature is whether advanced technology might suppress both inner time and social time. In this paper, we advance future-oriented conjectures on the potential role of advanced technology on such temporal capacity. Included in our projections is a futuristic doomsday in which advanced technology has extinguished inner time and social time and hence curtailed collaborative creativity. Oral disease, as a class of diseases with very high morbidity, brings great physical and mental damage to people worldwide. The increasing burden and strain on individuals and society make oral diseases an urgent global health problem. Since the treatment of almost all oral diseases relies on materials, the rapid development of advanced materials and technologies has also promoted innovations in the treatment methods and strategies of oral diseases. In this review, we systematically summarized the application strategies in advanced materials and technologies for oral diseases according to the etiology of the diseases and the comparison of new and old materials. Finally, the challenges and directions of future development for advanced materials and technologies in the treatment of oral diseases were refined.
