The Analysis of transient stability is defined as the ability of the power system to back to a steady state after a disturbance. The novelty of this research is whether transformer reactance affects transient stability or not. This research is to represent the damage to the transformer winding that causes a change in the transformer reactance value. But, because the software has limited facilities, the simulations are made using the switching method on a parallel transformer by presenting two different transformer reactance values. The simulation was carried out by using a switching that connected to transformers A and B in three different places, namely on buses 1, 2, and 3 which are simulated in scenarios I, II, and III. The simulation results can be seen on the graph of the bus voltage, and bus frequency. From the analysis of the graph results, the standard used for transient stability analysis is the IEEE standard. The impact of switching on transformer reactance simulation is shown in scenarios I, II, and III. The bus voltage in scenarios I and II also oscillates, causing the system to exceed the voltage stability limit, which occurs in minutes before steady-state conditions at 58.201 seconds and 52.401 seconds, respectively. On generator III, the voltage is still within standard limits. Bus frequency that is affected by switching on transformer reactance on some parts of scenarios I, II, and III can still be allowed because the effects given are still within the allowable/standard limits. The need for renewable energy demand is currently growing very rapidly, and this very rapid development makes the exploitation quite large, one of which is wind energy. The need for monitoring the potential of wind energy to know the speed of wind energy that blows in a location in one day. The results obtained show that the faster the wind rotation (wind turbine blades), the greater the voltage generated, namely the wind speed is directly proportional to the voltage, in the measurement at 07.00 am to 05.00 pm the lowest wind speed is 1.31 m/s with an output voltage of 12.31 VDC. and a current of 0.26 A at 08.00 am and the highest wind speed is 5.13 m/s with an output voltage of 12.73 VDC and a current of 0.29 A. In general, one of the main components used in electric power systems is a transformer. In principles, this equipment uses a magnetic process through the pairing winding where a cooling system is also applied to maintain the expected operational performance and to maintain heat transfer during the power delivery. In fact, load demand changes fluctuate depending on the behavior of energy users. This research is conducted to evaluate heat transfer in a three-phase transformer. This work also takes into the flowing current gradually based on the heat generated in the transformer. To cover these objectives, the analysis is directed to the power transformer optimization using the Artificial Salmon Tracking Algorithm (ASTA) for performing heat flow rates on-demand changes. The results obtained indicate that ASTA has a potential implementation for determining the optimal heat transfer. Recently, alternative energy becomes a popular issue associated with decreasing fossil energy source consumption. Moreover, this aim leads to renewable energy conservation for exploring potential sources, such as, solar and wind energy, which are more familiar than other energy sources. However, renewable energy usage is very dependent on the existing technology development which is applied to catch the natural energy sources. These works are subjected to study and estimate the downstream speed on the wind energy as a potential renewable energy source which is utilized for the wind farm energy harvesting. These works also consider the 24 hours operation based on technical parameters of the wind turbine and natural wind speed performances. These studies are demonstrated on the random surface roughness performing using an artificial salmon tracking algorithm. Results show that the random surface roughness influences the pattern of wind dispersion and wind speed reduction, as well as sweeping areas affected by the wind. It also has an impact on energy production related to the wind farm energy harvesting. Regarding the surface roughness within 0.01-0.936 randomly, the downstream speed covers 3.842-5.053 m/s. In particular, the wake decay also contributes to the wind sweeping in the harvesting potential energy area. By considering the hub high of 10 m, the highest downstream leads to the slowest speed on the constant wind flows. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper explores a computational intelligence based on a natural phenomenon of thunderstorm mechanisms. These works are applied to optimize a technical problem under various operational constraints and environmental requirements considered the IEEE-62 bus system. Obtained results show that Thunderstorm Algorithm demonstrates faster convergence and short time. This method also presents smooth and stable characteristics. In detail, the optimal solution is obtained in 22 steps for 15,586 $/h after pointing at 28,858 $/h at the first streaming. Based on executions, the computation needed 2.5 s for the streaming and it also needed 0.09 for covering the dead tracks included 0.5 s for the replacement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
