The wind farm is one of the most commonly studied crops, and downstream assesses the influence of speed and turbulence on the 24-hour operation. These experiments used an artificial fish tracking algorithm to demonstrate the impact of models, speed reduction, and large space on the performance of the wind farm. It also affects energy production in terms of energy harvesting and awakening power of the wind farm. This study designed a Series Active Filter (SAF) model with PI tuning using a comparison of the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Particle Swarm Optimisation (PSO) algorithms, which were simulated to compensate for harmonics due to the effect of non-linear loads on the secondary side of the 380 Volt low voltage distribution transformer with a capacity of 32 kVA. The series active filter consists of two main circuits namely the control system and inverter, the control system in computing through the ACO Algorithm for tuning PI values. The result of tuning pi as a reference wave will be compared to spwm carier wave amplitude as a reliable VSI control modulation. This study resulted in a decrease in harmonics in current and voltage, the computational results of the ACO Algorithm were faster in finding pi values in the 5th iteration compared with PSO which got the best PI value in iteration 20th, but for the completion of harmonic distortion due to non-linear load in whole PSO algorithm is relatively better than the ACO algorithm, ACO algorithm results can reduce the value of THDI 48.88% to 3.18% and the value of THDV 20.23% to 1.48%. and for Alogaritma PSO which is slightly superior by lowering the value of THDI 48.88% to 3.11% and the value of THDV 20.23% to 1.49%. In recent years, electricity has been a daily necessity for people to help their activities. Along with technological developments, energy demand has increased rapidly. In Indonesia, electric energy is mostly supplied from conventional generators using fossil fuels. One of the impacts of using conventional power generation is air pollution which is caused the global warming. Thus, researchers have developed a renewable energy power generation in the form of a PV system that has no air pollution. PV can generate electricity during the day but often than not can be blocked by bad weather conditions. To solve that problem, a device to optimize the PV output is needed. One of the important components in a PV system is a DC-DC converter. This device can be used as a PV output voltage amplifier and power controller. In this research, PID controller is applied to stabilize the output power of the HVGT (High Voltage Gain Transformerless) topology DC-DC converter. Using the state-space averaging method, a bode plot graph is obtained to determine the stability of the control system of the converter. Similar topologies of DC-DC converter are compared to HVGT topology to know its performance. Simulation and experimental have also been done to validate the theoretical analysis. Research in the field of renewable energy continues to be a trending topic because issue of the depletion fossil energy reserves. Therefore, it is necessary to look for other alternative energies such as wind power plants, hydroelectric, photovoltaic, and biomass. In some countries, wind power plants are the most widely used to support the need for electrical energy supply. The wind speed that can be used for a wind power plant ranges from 5 m/s to 15 m/s, but in general simulations, average wind speed of 10 m/s is used. Pitch angle plays a role to control the rotational speed of wind turbine so that the power in the induction generator remains stable. However, the presence of the pitch angle can have an impact on the short-circuit fault current. The output power generated by the wind power plant consists of components of voltage, current, and power factor. In the event of a short circuit, the output current increases to 7 times the normal current. Furthermore, sorted into pitch angle affects the output power, and further affects the contribution of the output current. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the pitch angle of the wind power plant on the short-circuit fault current contribution produced by the wind power plant. The pitch angles used in this paper are 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, and 40°. The fault current consists of several components, such as transient alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) components, and alternating current in rms. Transient AC shows a high increase in fault current in the subtranseint period of 0.5 cycles, then decreases and enters the transient period from 1.5 cycles to 4 cycles. In the end, the fault current enters steady state. The DC component affects the waveform from the subtransient period to the steady state period. The simulation results show that the higher the pitch angle, the lower the fault current contribution produced by the wind power plant and vice versa. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
