The adsorption kinetics of methylene blue with 1% TiO2/SBA-15 has been investigated. This research begins with the synthesis of TiO2/SBA-15 using TEOT (Tetra Ethyl Orto Titanate) as a source of TiO2 and SBA-15 as a support material using the wet impregnation method. The structure and physicochemical properties of TiO2/SBA-15 were observed by XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer). The study of the adsorption kinetics of the experimental data on the adsorption of methylene blue to TiO2/SBA-15 will use several approaches, namely the Lagergren pseudo-first-order irreversible reaction model, Ho McKay pseudo-second-order reaction model, and the pseudo-Pandey first-order reversible reaction model. The results showed that the adsorption kinetics of methylene blue approached Ho Mckay's pseudo-second-order model where the adsorption rate was linearly related to the square of the number of adsorption sites with a material adsorption capacity of 106.7 mg / g which represented the material's ability to adsorb methylene blue molecules [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
