High-speed telecommunication systems are influenced by electromagnetic environments because they need a wide bandwidth to transmit signals. Immunity tests of telecommunication equipment are effective for improving its immunity to electromagnetic environments. However, immunity tests are expensive to carry out because there are several different tests. The correlation among the tests should therefore be examined in order to reduce the kinds of tests that are necessary. This paper investigates the correlation between the electrical fast transient/burst (EFTB) test and the radio frequency (RF) conductive immunity test. Imitation equipment was constructed with a balun, and a baseband signal was transmitted from the associated equipment to the imitation equipment. Then, disturbances were applied to the equipment, and the telecommunication quality was evaluated by using the bit error rate (BER). The results from the EFTB test indicated that the BER was less than 6×10 −5 and the value was independent of the peak value. The results from the RF conductive immunity test indicated that the BER was affected by the longitudinal conversion loss (LCL).

情報技術装置の放射イミュニティ試験では電波暗室・TEMセル・GTEMセル等の電磁界印加装置が使用されている.これらについて,供試機器のない場合の電界均一性等の特性は評価されているが,供試機器が存在する場合の電界分布等の特性は評価されていない.本論文では,これらの電磁界印加装置がいずれも平面波を模擬した電磁界を発生するように設計されている点に着目し,平面波が導体球に入射したときに周囲にできる電界分布を基準として,印加装置内に供試機器が設置された場合の電界分布を評価・比較した.更に,各印加装置内でイミュニティ試験が可能な供試機器の大きさについて評価した結果も示している.評価方法としては,まず自由空間中の導体球に平面波が入射したときの散乱電界理論値を求め,つぎにこの理論値と各電磁界印加装置内における導体球周囲の電界測定値を比較した.その結果,電波暗室の場合が最も理論値との偏差が小さく,かつ周波数による変動が少ないことがわかった.またTEMセル・GTMセルの場合,供試機器の大きさが内部導体の外部導体の間隔の1/3以下であれば,理論値と測定値との偏差は+6dB以下になることがわかった.

屋内配電線に接続される様々な電子機器は,電源ポートの入力インピーダンス特性が使用状態によって変化するため,このことが高速電力線通信の信号伝送特性に与える影響と対策方法を明らかにする必要がある.本論文では,高速電力線通信の信号周波数帯域である2-30MHzにおいて,電子機器の使用状態が屋内配電線の信号伝送特性に与える影響について検討を行っている.まず,電子機器の使用状態による入力インピーダンスの変化を測定した結果,家庭内にある20%の機器は使用状態によりインピーダンスが20%以上変化することが分かった.次に,4ポート回路網を用いた解析法により伝送特性への影響を検討した.簡単なモデルで解析法の評価を行った結果,解析結果と測定結果はほぼ一致した.最後に,40m2程度の広さをもつ集合住宅の配電系モデルについて解析を行った結果,電子機器の使用状態による伝送特性の変化の標準偏差は最大16dB程度であり,電源ポートにEMIフィルタを挿入することにより,標準偏差の最大値を3dBまで低減できることが分かった.

近年，ホームネットワークの需要が高まり，新たに伝送路を敷設する必要がない有線通信として電力線通信が注目されている．しかし，配電線からの放射電磁界が他の通信に影響を与える可能性が懸念されており，放射電磁界強度を評価する必要がある．しかし，大地面を含む信号伝搬特性の精密な解析方法や分岐を含む配電系から放射される電磁界解析方法が明らかになっていない．本論文では，屋内配電線を2導体と大地からなる4ポート回路網の縦続接続で表してコモンモード電流を求め，この値を用いて放射磁界強度を求める方法について検討している．解析にあたっては，有限要素法と測定値を用いて導体間及び導体とグラウンド間のアドミタンスを求めることにより，コモンモード電流解析精度の改善が可能であることを示した．また，解析モデルの妥当性を評価するため，電波暗室内で長さ4 mのケーブルを用いて評価を行った結果，解析値と測定値の差は4 dB以内となり，この解析モデルにより分岐のない1本のケーブルからの放射磁界強度を解析できることが分かった．次に，分岐を有する簡易配電線モデルに対して本解析手法を適用した結果，放射磁界強度の解析結果と測定結果はほぼ一致し，本解析手法が，電子機器が接続されかつ分岐を有する配電線からの放射磁界強度の解析に有効であることが分かった．

A method of evaluating the isolation factor from an AC mains port to a telecommunication port was investigated. Telecommunication equipment was represented by a 4-port network consisting of a pair of wire and ground. The relationship between input and output signals of the network was represented by an F-matrix and the isolation factor (ratio of input to output signals) was derived from the matrix. We developed a method of measuring the parameters and the measured values for a resistance-network agree well with calculated ones. The evaluation results of the isolation factor for three types of telecommunication equipment show that isolation for differential-mode noise from AC mains to telecommunication ports is larger than that for common-mode noise., 2003 IEEE Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, August 18-22, 2003, Boston

Influence to electromagnetic environment has been studied for power line communication (PLC). Longitudinal conversion loss (LCL) and input impedance are important parameters to evaluate the influence. Indoor AC mains line is modeled considering with typical conditions of Japanese house. The modeled line and electric equipment are presented with 4-port F-matrixes. The parameters of 4-port F-matrix are determined from calculation and measurement. Using this model, the input impedance and the LCL are calculated. The analysis model is examined by a simple network, and the results show that the calculation values almost agree with the measured values. Electric field distribution below 80 cm should be specified to test the RF immunity of the floor-standing equipment. To determine this specification, a model in which the equipment is set on an infinite ground plane was used. Calculations using the moment method show that the height pattern of the field below 80 cm is independent of frequency. The height pattern measured in a room is close to the calculated pattern in this model.
