Purpose: this study aims to present an innovative approach (Diffusion of Innovation Theory) to investigate the adoption of ChatGPT by business and management students. The theory emphasizes integrating the variables Viz. relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability, attitude, and intention to adopt ChatGPT in the context of management education. Method: ology: a non-probability purposive sample of 383 students enrolled in management of Indian public and private institutions was taken to conduct survey to administer questionnaires. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling was employed to analyze the data using Smart PLS software. Findings: the findings suggest that students' attitude toward the integration of ChatGPT for educational purposes and knowledge acquisition are overwhelmingly positive. Moreover, relative benefit, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability indicate a favorable disposition toward the intention to use ChatGPT among business and management students’ community. Implications: the study asserts significant implications for multiple sectors, including global society, businesses, and academia. The application of the Diffusion of Innovation Theory to the examination of management students' attitude towards ChatGPT provides valuable practical and theoretical insights. Originality: the originality of the study lies in the innovative approach it takes in investigating the utilization of ChatGPT in management education. Hence, the application of the Diffusion of Innovation theory and the inclusion of context-specific characteristics contribute to the uniqueness of the study.

The objective of this study is to examine the relationship among different sources of renewable energy, role of technology, environment protection and economic growth. This study uses panel annual data set of selected BRICS countries from 1997 to 2019. This study uses the Augmented Mean Group (AMG) estimator, a second-generation estimator that takes slope homogeneity and cross-sectional dependence into consideration. For robustness, the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator has also been utilized. The findings show that the use of renewable energy will rise as income inequality declines. The results of the analysis demonstrate a one-way causal association between income inequality and REC. This finding confirms that a reduction in income inequality will have a major impact on the adoption of renewable energy sources.

AbstractMotivated by agency and stakeholder theories, this study aims to investigate the effect of corporate governance quality as measured by a single index on investment efficiency in the six Arab Gulf countries, commonly known as Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the period 2015–2020. The study tries to develop a corporate governance quality model comprises 60 items under five main corporate governance elements of disclosure; responsibilities of the board; board effective composition; rights of shareholders and the role of stakeholders; and examines its effect on firms’ investment efficiency in 301 non-financial firms listed in six emerging capital markets in the GCC region. The findings reveal significant evidence that good corporate governance quality as a composite index enhances investment efficiency and mitigates both over- and under-investment. However, when the subcomponents of the corporate governance quality index were regressed individually on investment inefficiency, the findings were mixed. Our findings remain consistent when we control for potential endogeneity bias. The study has theoretically contributed to the corporate governance literature on corporate governance indices and quality by proposing a corporate governance quality model that considers all stakeholders. The practical implications of the study emphasize the significance of good company governance as a driver of investment efficiency; companies are expected to manage resources effectively, and regulators can implement regulations that enhance corporate governance standards in the GCC countries using the developed corporate governance quality model.

The purpose of this study is to examine the link between English foreign language teacher’s professional identity and employee success via mediating role of critical thinking. Further, we examined the moderating role of leader motivational language between employee professional identity and critical thing and also indirect effect on employee success via critical thinking. We collected data from Chinese MNC’s school by using time lagged study design. We used hierarchical linear regression for direct hypotheses and Hayes PROCESS model’s for mediation, moderation, and mediation moderation analysis. The results show that there is positive relation between employee’s professional identity and teacher’s success. Further, critical thinking mediates the link between professional identity and employee success. The results of the moderated mediation analysis show that critical thinking mediated the interaction of employee’s professional identity and leader’s motivational language on teacher’s success.

The influences of renewable and conventional energy consumption on ecological sustainability remain unclear because of the dynamic economic and innovative framework. This investigation gives a new perception by exploring the association between the production of various sources of renewable energies (e.g., hydroelectric, wind, solar PV, geothermal, and biomass power) and economic growth encapsulating capital, government spending, and trade openness. This research used a heterogeneous approach for panel data and second generational tools for econometrics, which allow for cross-sectional reliance and slope heterogeneity. This study has revealed the substantial reason to back up the feedback assumptions between renewable energy sources and economic growth, using the Dumitrescu and Hurlin analysis. In terms of policy, this empirical analysis suggests enacting impactful policies that encourage green power and economic reform in an attempt to lessen CO2 concentrations in the biosphere.
