Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin inflammatory disease, with corrugated evolution especially in the first year of life, with different clinical aspects locations, depending on the age and stage of disease evolution. The etiopathogeny is incompletely elucidated. It implies the existence of an interconnection between immunological factors (IgE - mediated immune hyperreactivity involving Th2 lymphocytes), genetic (mutation of the filaggrin), environmental factors (allergens, infectious agents, physical, emotional stress), hereditary predisposition and pharmacological factors.
