It is essential to identify consumer purchase behavior to establish and implement effective marketing strategies by Western food chains in Pakistan. By identifying motives, firms can offer extra-value products to their current and potential clients. Thus, this study seeks to understand what drives Pakistani consumers to buy imported Western food. This quantitative study uses A standardized structured questionnaire to collect data from 375 Karachi residents. The researchers use a convenient sampling strategy and analyze the data using PLS-SEM modeling through Smart-PLS 4.0. The findings of this research demonstrate that subjective norms, religiosity, product attributes, brand trust, customer satisfaction, and lifestyle significantly and positively influence consumer purchase intention. The findings also show that consumer purchase intention, lifestyle, and subjective norms significantly and positively correlate with purchase behavior. Finally, the study concludes that purchase intention significantly and positively mediates between exogenous and endogenous variables (purchase behavior). This research has significant theoretical and managerial implications. Local and international marketing professionals who wish to investigate the expanding consumer market in Pakistan can find the study's findings extremely useful. In addition, the outcomes of this research enrich the existing body of consumer behavior literature, which is helpful for future researchers.

Halide perovskite materials belong to a fascinating novel class, and recently captured incredible attention as a leading aspirant for next-generation photovoltaic technology, because of their flexible chemistry and extraordinary optoelectronic properties, they also deliver a pattern for designing new materials for energy conversion and energy storage applications. In this study, we thoroughly explore the structural, electronic, optical and mechanical properties of the inorganic halide cubic perovskites (CsInX3; X = Br, Cl) for solar cell (SC) application, simulated under density functional theory (DFT) based WIEN2k code with PBE-GGA approximation. The optimized lattice parameters were found to be 11.67 Ǻ for CsInBr3 and 11.16 Ǻ for CsInCl3, respectively. The variation in the structural parameters with changing the halogen atom from Br to Cl was observed. The electronic and optical properties were computed by TB-mBJ method. These halide perovskites reveal an indirect energy bandgap quantified as 1.22 and 2.2 eV, high absorption coefficient and low reflectivity. The elastic constants (C11, C12 and C44) followed the Born stability condition, and confirmed the mechanical stability. According to the Poisson ratio (ν) and Pugh's ratio (B/G), materials endorsed ductile behaviour as well exhibit anisotropic nature. Moreover, our theoretical findings suggested that the investigated materials have high absorption coefficients, high conductivity and low reflectivity, which makes them promising contender for SC applications. In this work, we will introduce two novel positivity preserving operator splitting nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) schemes for the numerical solution of SEIR reaction diffusion epidemic model. In epidemic model of infection diseases, positivity is an important property of the continuous system because negative value of a subpopulation is meaningless. The proposed operator splitting NSFD schemes are dynamically consistent with the solution of the continuous model. First scheme is conditionally stable while second operator splitting scheme is unconditionally stable. The stability of the diffusive SEIR model is also verified numerically with the help of Routh-Hurwitz stability condition. Bifurcation value of transmission coefficient is also carried out with and without diffusion. The proposed operator splitting NSFD schemes are compared with the well-known operator splitting finite difference (FD) schemes.

The aim of this work is to design two novel implicit and explicit finite difference (FD) schemes to solve SIR (susceptible, infected and recovered) epidemic reaction–diffusion system with modified saturated incidence rate. Since this model is based on population dynamics, therefore solution of the continuous system possesses the positivity property. The proposed finite difference schemes retain the positivity property of sub population which is an essential feature in population dynamics. Von Neumann stability analysis reveals that proposed FD schemes are unconditionally stable. It is verified with the help of Taylor's series expansion that proposed FD schemes are consistent. The proposed implicit scheme is unconditionally consistent, i.e. for h = τ. On the other hand the proposed explicit scheme gives conditional consistency for h = τ 3 . The proposed FD schemes are compared with two other FD schemes, i.e. forward Euler and Crank Nicolson scheme. Simulations are performed for the verification of all the attributes for the underlying FD schemes. Furthermore, stability of the reaction diffusion system is discussed by applying Routh–Hurwitz criteria. Bifurcation values of infection coefficient are also obtained from Routh–Hurwitz condition.
