Blood cancer is caused because of changes in DNA within blood cells and it's not genetic. The efficient and early detection of blood cancer can help in curing it. We have designed a blood cancer sensor which is detecting it fast and efficiently. The double split ring resonator gold metasurface is placed on graphene material and backed by MgF2 substrate which makes the detection fast and effective. The overall sensitivity, FOM, Q-factor and DL are 3571 nm/RIU, 714 RIU−1 value, 322 and 0.00933 RIU for the designed sensor respectively. The sensitivity is optimized by changing the different parameters like length, height of resonator, and height of MgF2 substrate. The designed sensor also shows tunable behavior with variation in graphene potential. The electric field analysis of the sensor matches well with the obtained absorption results of the blood cancer sensor. The negative values of permittivity and permeability in the investigated wavelength range give validation of the metasurface effect in the proposed sensor. Coaxial cables and optical fibers are two types of cylindrical waveguides used in telecommunications. Fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) have found successful applications in various fields, such as optical communications, fiber lasers, and fiber-optic sensing. In this paper, we propose and numerically investigate the implementations of various fiber Bragg configurations, including uniform, chirped, apodized, and phase-shifted configurations, on coaxial cables to generate the corresponding special types of coaxial cable Bragg gratings (CCBGs). The simulation results of different CCBGs match well with the well-known FBG theories. It is demonstrated that the reflection spectrum of a CCBG can be flexibly tailored by introducing various quasi-periodic perturbations in the permittivity of the dielectric layer along the coaxial cable. Tumors, irregularities, and malignancies of the brain are deemed lethal. If brain cancer detection techniques are executed appropriately, precious lives might be saved. They should have exceptional mobility, precision, response speed, and high sensitivity. By enabling earlier detection and treatment, a brain tumor sensor has the potential to greatly improve the prognosis for patients with brain tumors. Early detection of brain cancers by the sensor enables early treatment and better patient outcomes. This study demonstrates what is regarded to be a step towards reaching these goals. The proposed is a unique biomedical graphene metasurface sensor (GMS) that can reliably detect and differentiate between various brain tissues. For the proposed study, we have included the abnormal brain tissues of several injuries, tumors, and malignant cells. The proposed GMS reports the highest sensitivity of 153.85 GHz/RIU with a figure of merit of 3.98 and a quality factor of 8.54, where the operating frequency is 0.25 to 0.45 THz. The proposed GMS also indicates the linear functionality for resonance frequency and respective specific brain tissue refractive indices. Overall, these performance indicator parameters indicate good performance, and we can therefore state that the developed GMS structure is highly effective and can be applied for the low-cost, timely, and efficient detection of brain tumors.
