The project consists of the design of road infrastructure for 75th Street located near to Los Almendros and Los Cerezos neighborhoods in the municipality of Soledad, Atlántico. The main problems identified due to the lack of paving include difficulty in the access of certain places in the sector, causing damage to vehicles, accidents and inconvenience to the habitants when moving around, as well as increased insecurity and the possibility of contracting diseases due to environmental factors and the accumulation of garbage. Based on a bibliographic review, the sustainable materials to be used in the designs were determined considering the context of the project, and secondary information obtained from studies on soil, traffic, climate, among other important aspects of the analyzed area was also taken into account. Three alternatives were made for rigid pavement including a conventional design, one with 50% replacement of aggregate by RCA and another with 20% inclusion of RAP, respectively. On the other hand, for flexible pavement, a conventional alternative was designed and another with the addition of 19% by weight of GCR. The methodologies used for the designs were AASHTO 93 for rigid and flexible pavement, and PCA for rigid pavement. Trough the life cycle analysis (LCA) method, using the PaLATE tool, the main consumptions, emissions and waste generated by the different pavements were determined, giving priority to the importance of the energy consumed and CO2 emissions during initial construction. Furthermore, in order to carry out the economic evaluation, budgets were established for each of the alternatives. Based on a SWOT analysis, it was determined that the best alternative to implement is rigid pavement with 50% replacement of aggregate by RCA. The project includes the design of parking lots, sidewalks, drainage, signage and lighting for the entire stretch of road.

Due to this, the present investigation seeks to characterize the current situation of the country in relation to the delay and cost overruns in the works, as well as the influence of the characteristics of both, the companies and the projects in the appearance of these phenomena. Based on a literary review, more than 70 causes of delays and cost overruns were collected, which were classified according to their distinction in the articles in which they were found. Based on this, experts from the sector in Ecuador are locked in to validate the most important causes that occur in this country. - Abstract
Psychology students should have optimal levels of cognitive and affective empathy, because they contribute to obtaining better results in therapeutic intervention. So, as a general objective, of the study we described the cognitive and affective empathy in psychology students of the University of Cuenca according to the sociodemographic variables. As specific objectives, the levels and dimensions of cognitive and affective empathy present in students of Psychology at the University of Cuenca were described, according to the aforementioned variables; in the same way, differences were established between dimensions of cognitive and affective empathy. This research worked with a random sample of 263 students from various psychology careers, 97 men and 166 women, between 17 and 36 years old, with a medium age of 21. The Affective and Cognitive Empathy Test created in 2008 by Lopez-Pérez, Fernández-Pinto y Abad García was used to determine the global level of empathy and its dimensions. The methodological process followed a quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive approach. The results indicated that the global empathy is at an optimal level in Psychology students and that the highest scores are in emotional understanding; however, affective empathy has a greater balance in its dimensions. In conclusion, cognitive empathy have must exhibit higher values than affective empathy for a proper execution of the psychological profession
