Việc xác định sản phẩm chủ lực là nhiệm vụ quan trọng nhất trong quá trình thực hiện chương trình Mỗi xã một sản phẩm. Bài báo nghiên cứu về các nhóm sản phẩm tiềm năng của xã Châu Bình, huyện Giồng Trôm, tỉnh Bến Tre, từ đó đưa ra khuyến nghị, giải pháp để thúc đẩy sự phát triển chung của chương trình. Bằng phương pháp điều tra bằng bảng hỏi với 150 phiếu, nhóm tác giả đã thu thập ý kiến của người dân nhằm phân tích hồi quy xác định các yếu tố tác động đến thế mạnh sản phẩm bao gồm nguyên liệu, điều kiện sản xuất, lao động, thị trường, thương hiệu và chính sách. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra thực phẩm và đồ uống thuộc 2 nhóm sản phẩm có tiềm năng nhất. Giải pháp cấp thiết đòi hỏi xã Châu Bình cần phải xây dựng chiến lược lâu dài, vừa khắc phục khó khăn vừa phát huy giá trị sản phẩm gắn với cộng đồng địa phương.

Writing, especially academic writing, is highly valued in foreign language acquisition, particularly for English majors. Nevertheless, using academic terminology might be difficult for students still developing their academic language abilities. The purpose of this research is to understand students' difficulties in selecting appropriate words in academic writing and offer solutions to overcome such difficulties. The participants were 78 English majors (high-quality program, course 45) and three lecturers at the Department of English Language and Culture, School of Foreign Languages, Can Tho University. Questionnaires were used to measure their difficulties in word choice in academic writing and semi-structured interviews were utilized to find solutions. The results show that most participants had a basic knowledge of academic vocabulary, which was demonstrated through their ability to select the appropriate word choice. However, students found it difficult to choose the right words in their academic writing. The reasons are that academic words are not easy to remember and not successfully used in the context of the meaning of the word and do not have an effective method of learning academic vocabulary. Based on the results, several specific approaches have been proposed to help students find the most suitable strategies for learning and using academic vocabulary for their writing. Background: Hepatic encephalopathy is an important evidence that confirms impairment of liver function, may occur in about 40% of cirrhotics. Data about efficacy of rifaximin plus lactulose in the treatment of Vietnamese patients was still limited. This study aimed to determine the precipitating factors and to access the efficacy of lactulose plus rifaximin in overt hepatic encephalopathy. Patients and Methods: The prospective single-blind randomized controlled trial, 43 cirrhotics with overt hepatic encephalopathy without portal systemic shunting addmitted to gastroenterology department of Cho Ray Hospital from March 2019 to August 2019, were randomized into two groups (group A lactulose plus rifaximin 1.100 mg/day, n = 21; and group B only lactulose; n = 22). All patients were recorded for onset factors, clinical characteristics and assessing the recovery of hepatic encephalopathy. Results: The mean age of patients in this study was 54.8 ± 12.1 years (the ratio of male to female patients is 4.38 : 1). The leading cause of cirrhosis was alcohol (39.5%). The most common clinical symptoms were jaundice (83.7%), spider naevi (41.9%) and ascites (37.2%). The most common triggers were infection (51.2%), gastrointestinal bleeding (37.2%) and constipation (25.6%). The percentage of patients with complete improvement after treatment with lactulose plus rifaximin was 81% compared to 63.6% in the lactulose-treated patients only (95% CI: 0.539 - 1.147, p value = 0.206). Conclusion: Our data revealed that common triggers of hepatic encephalopathy were infections, gastrointestinal bleeding and constipation. The combination of lactulose plus rifaximin was more effective than rifaximin alone in the treatment of overt hepatic encephalopathy. A variety of genetic techniques have been devised to determine cell lineage relationships during tissue development. Some of these systems monitor cell lineages spatially and/or temporally without regard to gene expression by the cells, whereas others correlate gene expression with the lineage under study. The GAL4 Technique for Real-time and Clonal Expression (G-TRACE) system allows for rapid, fluorescent protein-based visualization of both current and past GAL4 expression patterns and is therefore amenable to genome-wide expression-based lineage screens. Here we describe the results from such a screen, performed by undergraduate students of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Undergraduate Research Consortium for Functional Genomics (URCFG) and high school summer scholars as part of a discovery-based education program. The results of the screen, which reveal novel expression-based lineage patterns within the brain, the imaginal disc epithelia, and the hematopoietic lymph gland, have been compiled into the G-TRACE Expression Database (GED), an online resource for use by the Drosophila research community. The impact of this discovery-based research experience on student learning gains was assessed independently and shown to be greater than that of similar programs conducted elsewhere. Furthermore, students participating in the URCFG showed considerably higher STEM retention rates than UCLA STEM students that did not participate in the URCFG, as well as STEM students nationwide.

International audience; Methane reforming allows the production of synthesis gas (syngas) which is an important gas mixture feedstock for the production of chemicals and energy carriers. Steam reforming of methane (SRM) and partial oxidation of methane (POM) have been deployed at large industrial scale, while dry reforming of methane (DRM) and more recently tri-reforming of methane (TRM) are intensively studied. TRM simultaneously combines SRM, POM and DRM in a unique process and allows overcoming several weaknesses of each individual methane reforming process: e.g. regulation of the molar ratio of H2/CO by controlling feed composition; adaptation to the variation in biogas composition as renewable resource. TRM process strongly requires a solid catalyst. To date, the design of efficient TRM catalysts remains a challenge. This work reviews recent achievements on the development of catalysts for TRM, and provides a guideline for future work related to TRM catalysts.

Advancements in machine learning in general and in deep learning in particular have achieved great success in numerous fields. For personalized medicine approaches, frameworks derived from learning algorithms play an important role in supporting scientists to investigate and explore novel data sources such as metagenomic data to develop and examine methodologies to improve human healthcare. Some challenges when processing this data type include its very high dimensionality and the complexity of diseases. Metagenomic data that include gene families often have millions of features. This leads to a further increase of complexity in processing and requires a huge amount of time for computation. In this study, we propose a method combining feature selection using perceptron weight-based filters and synthetic image generation to leverage deep-learning advancements in order to predict various diseases based on gene family abundance data. An experiment was conducted using gene family datasets of five diseases, i.e. liver cirrhosis, obesity, inflammatory bowel diseases, type 2 diabetes, and colorectal cancer. The proposed method provides not only visualization for gene family abundance data but also achieved a promising performance level.

In this paper, we present a process of building a social listening system based on aspect-based sentiment analysis in Vietnamese, from creating a dataset to building a real application. Firstly, we create UIT-ViSFD, a Vietnamese Smartphone Feedback Dataset, as a new benchmark dataset built based on a strict annotation scheme for evaluating aspect-based sentiment analysis, consisting of 11,122 human-annotated comments for mobile e-commerce, which is freely available for research purposes. We also present a proposed approach based on the Bi-LSTM architecture with the fastText word embeddings for the Vietnamese aspect-based sentiment task. Our experiments show that our approach achieves the best performances (in F1-score) of 84.48% for the aspect task and 63.06% for the sentiment task, which performs several conventional machine learning and deep learning systems. Lastly, we build SA2SL, a social listening system based on the best performance model on our dataset, which will inspire more social listening systems in the future.

Impaired hearing and cognition are disabling conditions among older adults. Research has presented inconsistent conclusions regarding hearing impairment posing a risk for cognitive impairment. We aimed to assess this from published evidence via searching PubMed and Embase, from the inception of the databases indexed to December 2, 2016. For those high-quality studies retrieved, relative risk (RR) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were combined to estimate the risk of cognitive impairment. Eleven cohort studies were included in the present study. Pooled results found that elderly people with disabled peripheral and central hearing function had a higher risk of cognitive impairment (for moderate/severe peripheral hearing impairment: RR = 1.29, 95% CI: 1.04–1.59 during a follow-up ≤6 years. RR = 1.57, 95% CI: 1.13–2.20 during a follow-up >6 years; for severe central hearing impairment, RR = 3.21, 95% CI: 1.19–8.69) compared to those with normal hearing function. We also recorded a dose-response trend for cognitive impairment as hearing thresholds rose. No evident bias from potential confounding factors was found with one exception: the length for clinical follow-up. Although results are preliminary because qualifying studies were few, statistical findings were consistent with older people identified as having greater levels of hearing loss, having a corresponding higher risk of cognitive impairment.

International audience; Tri-reforming of methane (TRM) allows the production of syngas with a low environmental impact, an optimal energetic consumption, and a modular H2/CO molar ratio. However, despite a large number of publications devoted to TRM reaction, this process is still in its infancy and faces technical issues due to the catalyst deactivation by the formation of solid carbon, thermal sintering, vapor-solid reactions, and poisoning. Moreover, TRM reaction is also highly dependent on the operational conditions. This article provides a critical analysis of the last achievements on the TRM reaction. First, the thermodynamic, kinetic and mechanism aspects are presented and commented. Then, the impact of the operational conditions is analyzed. Finally, the main reasons of catalyst deactivation and the associated methods for catalyst regeneration are discussed. In parallel, catalytic efficiency is tentatively linked to physico-chemical properties of the catalyst, and recommendations are proposed for the future work on TRM process.

Quy mô của dân số trong độ tuổi đến trường hay quy mô học sinh (HS) đều có những ảnh hưởng nhất định đến quy mô giáo viên (GV) ở các cấp học thông qua nhiều mặt khác nhau. Ở Việt Nam, trong những năm gần đây, số dân trong độ tuổi đi học và HS ở bậc mầm non, tiểu học (TH) tăng đáng kể, tuy nhiên lại có nhiều biến động ở bậc trung học cơ sở, trung học phổ thông. Điều này đã góp phần làm thay đổi số HS trên một GV của từng vùng nói riêng cũng như của cả nước nói chung. Bài viết phân tích quy mô và tốc độ tăng của dân số trong độ tuổi đi học, số HS và GV của từng cấp ở các vùng và trên cả nước trong giai đoạn 2010-2017; qua đó, tác giả so sánh tỉ lệ số dân trong độ tuổi đi học với HS bình quân trên một GV để đánh giá mức độ phù hợp của quy mô đội ngũ GV; từ đó, xác định những tồn tại cần phải giải quyết và đưa ra một số đề xuất đối với ngành giáo dục nhằm xây dựng định hướng phát triển giáo dục phù hợp với tình hình biến động số trẻ thực tế ở từng vùng và từng cấp học trong thời gian tới.

International audience; Oxidative pyrolysis is a key step in the autothermal operation of many fixed-bed reactors for staged gasification and advanced carbonisation. In these reactors, biomass is converted into charcoal, condensates and permanent gases inside a moving Oxidation Zone (OZ) which also produces energy to self-sustain the process. Oxidative pyrolysis of three different biomass types: pine wood, miscanthus and wheat straw pellets, was performed in a batch 20 cm diameter fixed bed reactor. Results showed that the OZ consumed 11% to 14% of the stoichiometric air to self-sustain the process and reached a peak temperature around 720 °C whatever the biomass. The propagation velocity and thickness of the OZ were inversely proportional to the ash content and to the bulk density of the biomass. Ash was also shown to influence the yield and composition of the resulting products due to a catalytic effect on primary and secondary pyrolysis reactions.

International audience; Oxidative pyrolysis, in which heat is provided by the partial oxidation, occurs in many fixed bed reactors of air staged gasification and advanced carbonization processes. In these reactors, an Oxidation Zone (OZ) propagates and separates the virgin biomass from the produced char, and self-sustains the process. To investigate the energy transfer efficiency and to characterize the OZ features, oxidative pyrolysis was performed in a 20 cm diameter fixed bed reactor with Wheat straw pellets. Temperatures and biomass bed height were measured continuously during the experiment. The OZ propagated at 0.41 cm/min and consumed about 11 % of the biomass. The role of bed compaction on the effective propagation velocity was highlighted. Char yield was measured to 28.6 % and char accounted for 39.56 % of the total energy content of the Wheat straw. Maximum temperature in the bed reached 780°C. This paper proposes a new insight into the OZ features when it propagates in a biomass fixed bed.

International audience; With the expansion of human activities, there are more and more living areasadjacent to industrial and/or agricultural activities such as chemical processes, petroleumprocesses, paint finishing, food processing, livestock farming, composting plants etc. Badodor is part of several nuisances caused by industrial and/or agricultural activities. Hydrogensulfide (H2S) is a typical odorous molecule which causes foul odor at very low concentration.This molecule is formed in different industrial installations, in particular in coal combustion,and petrochemical refinery. The separation and/or transformation of H2S from gas phase toodorless products are important processes for sustainable development.In this paper, we communicate the preparation of new sorbents for the sorption of H2Sfrom a synthetic gas effluent. These sorbents consist in an inorganic phase (hydroxyapatite) ashost particles, and well-dispersed particles of a metal oxide as guest particles which are theactive phase for the removal of H2S. At room conditions, iron, lead and zinc doped calciumphosphates were found to be effective for the removal of H2S. The performance of thesorbents depends on preparation method and the nature of active phases. This opens newprospects for the treatment of H2S from gas phase.

In term of the level and income non - emigrate labor is lower than emigrate labor but the contributions to household economy is opposite. This article compares the current state of emigration, compare the level, incomes and the contributions to household economy between non-emigrate laborers and emigrate laborers in the Eastern economic zone of Tien Giang province in 2015, and thereby proposes some measures to improve the quality of labor in the area.

In July 2000, Hanoi-72 reference system was replaced by the Vietnam reference system, namely as VN-2000 as an official geodetic background system in Vietnam. Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam has reported the transformation parameters between VN-2000 and WGS84. Nevertheless, there is a need to estimate a new transformation parameter set between VN-2000 and WGS84 because WGS84 has been updated. In addition, there is now a lack of an accurate published set of parameters for transformation from VN-2000 to not only the International Terrestrial Reference System ITRS but also PZ-90. In this study, coordinate transformation parameters between ITRS and VN-2000 are estimated through the use of a least square approach and the common points with known coordinates in both systems. These set of parameters was then deployed to determine the link between VN-2000 and WGS84 as well as PZ-90. The results denoted that the derived transformation parameters, on the basis of the results at the checkpoints, could generated station positions with the accuracy at several cm level for transformation from VN-2000 to the new realizations of ITRS, WGS84 and PZ90 and reversely. These achievements reveals that the set of parameters is great significance for many applications related to positioning in Vietnam.

International audience; This paper focuses on the valorization of calcium carbonate-based solid wastes for theremoval of hydrogen sulfide from gas phase. Two solid wastes taken from industrial sites for theproduction of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate by the Solvay process® were analyzedby different physico-chemical methods. Calcium carbonate was found as the main component ofboth the solid wastes. Trace amounts of other elements such as Mg, Al, Fe, Si, Cl, Na etc. werealso present in these wastes. These solid wastes showed higher sorption activity for the removalof H2S, compared to a pure commercial calcium carbonate. The contact time was found as animportant parameter for the complete H2S uptake. The addition of well-dispersed iron-basedparticles could be carried out by the standard incipient wetness impregnation method. Sorbentcontaining 1 wt.% of spiked iron had the similar sorption behavior compared to a commercialactivated carbon, in terms of reactivity and reactivation possibility.

It is well known that crystallinity is required for photocatalytic activity in TiO 2 and that the metastable anatase phase usually exhibits photocatalytic activity superior to that of the equilibrium rutile phase. This phase transformation temperature often is observed to occur at ∼600°C, although temperatures in the range 400°–1200°C have been observed. Therefore, retention of anatase below 400°C is considered a desirable goal in the processing of TiO 2 thin films. However, most thin-film fabrication methods typically require heating at temperatures in excess of 400°C so as to recrystallise the films. This limitation in high-temperature processing impacts on the potential to retain anatase as well as the types of substrates that can be used to support the thin films. That is, almost no polymers can withstand these temperatures, so ceramics and metals are the alternatives. Therefore, the development of TiO 2 coating methods at low temperatures would make possible the production of flexible light-weight coatings on polymers. The present work was designed to obtain crystalline TiO 2 at temperatures sufficiently low to avoid the anatase → rutile phase transformation and charring/melting of polymeric substrates.

In theoretical ecology, models describing the spatial dispersal and the temporal evolution of species having non-overlapping generations are often based on integrodifference equations. For various such applications, the environment has an aperiodic influence on the models leading to nonautonomous integrodifference equations. In order to capture their long-term behavior comprehensively, both pullback and forward attractors as well as forward limit sets are of interest. As a result, this dissertation covers the following topics:(i) We construct pullback and forward attractors as well as forward limit sets for general infinite-dimensional nonautonomous dynamical systems in discrete time. Whereas the theory of pullback attractors, but not their application to integrodifference equations, is well-established, the present novel approach is in need in order to determine their future behavior.(ii) We apply the above abstract theory into nonautonomous integrodifference equations. For this purpose, Banach spaces of continuous $\R^d$-valued functions over a compact metric space as well as Nemytskii and Urysohn integral operators are given and some classes of nonautonomous integrodifference equations are introduced. Examples and illustrations are shown as well to understand such results.(iii) We study the pullback attractors and forward dynamics of nonautonomous integrodifference equations under perturbation as well as spatial discretization of collocation type as concrete applications. These are crucial tools to determine further sufficient criteria for other numerical methods.
