Purpose of this work is the analysis of the hemodynamic response to the execution of various types of movements (single movement, series of movements, “tapping”) by the right hand. Methods. In this paper, the hemodynamic response was recorded using functional near infrared spectroscopy (NIRScout instrument from NIRx, Germany). The NIRScout system uses 16 optodes (8 sources and 8 detectors) to record the hemodynamic response in the cerebral cortex with a sampling rate of 7.8125 Hz. Optodes are non-invasively placed on the patient’s scalp by inserting into the sockets of a special cap “EASYCAP”. Results. We show that the total hemodynamic response in the motor cortex of the left hemisphere slightly differs between all the considered types of movement, while the severity of contralaterality demonstrates significant differences between the types of movements. Contralaterality is most pronounced when performing a series of movements, while a single squeeze of the hand causes the least contralaterality. Conclusion. The results obtained in this paper demonstrate the high sensitivity of functional near-infrared spectroscopy technology to the performance of various types of movements. It should be especially noted here short single hand squeezes, which are clearly visible on the characteristics of HbO and HbR, which can be used in the development and design of various brain – computer interfaces, including multimodal ones.

The purpose of this review is to observe the current state of research on sensorimotor integration in the human brain during visual perception and subsequent decision-making under conditions of ambiguous information. Methods. This review examines the approaches of time-frequency wavelet analysis for brain activity when performing perceptual tasks, as well as the possibility of using such methods in the tasks of constructing brain – computer interfaces. Results. Electroencephalographic markers of increased attention during the perception of visual stimuli have been identified. Based on their we created brain – computer interfaces, which can monitor and control attention using biological feedback. Conclusion. We shown that the speed and correctness of our decisions depends on the quality of sensory evidence. Ambiguous sensory information requires more time to process, more attention and increases the probability of error. The use of neurointerfaces has shown that the brain’s resource is limited, and it is not maintained at a constant level – the time intervals of heightened attention alternate with the recovery period.

Our primary objective is to address the existing gap in the area of meta-reviews, which provides a more comprehensive outlook on the field, allowing for the assessment of the current landscape and developments within the scope of BCI. Our main methodologies include meta-analysis, search queries employing relevant keywords, and a network-based approach. We are dedicated to delivering an unbiased evaluation of BCI studies, elucidating the primary vectors of research development in this field. Our review encompasses a diverse range of applications, incorporating the use of brain-computer interfaces for rehabilitation and the treatment of various diagnoses, including those related to affective spectrum disorders. By encompassing a wide variety of use cases, we aim to offer a more comprehensive perspective on the utilization of neurofeedback treatments across different contexts. The structured and organized presentation of information, complemented by accompanying visualizations and diagrams, renders this review a valuable resource for scientists and researchers engaged in the domains of biofeedback and brain-computer interfaces. The problem of hidden data recovery is crucial in various scientific and technological fields, particularly in neurophysiology, where experimental data can often be incomplete or corrupted. We investigate the application of reservoir computing (RC) to recover hidden data from both model Kuramoto network system and real neurophysiological signals (EEG). Using an adaptive network of Kuramoto phase oscillators, we generated and analyzed macroscopic signals to understand the efficiency of RC in hidden signal recovery compared to linear regression (LR). Our findings indicate that RC significantly outperforms LR, especially in scenarios with reduced signal information. Furthermore, when applied to real EEG data, RC achieved more accurate signal reconstruction than traditional spline interpolation methods. These results underscore RC's potential for enhancing data recovery in neurophysiological studies, offering a robust solution to improve data integrity and reliability, which is essential for accurate scientific analysis and interpretation. The object of this study is the structural and phase transformations during the carbon reduction of tungsten high-speed steel slag in order to obtain a resource-saving alloying additive. The problem is the loss of precious elements when obtaining and using alloying material from man-made raw materials. Solving the problem is related to the definition of technological parameters to enable the reduction of losses of the corresponding elements. As a result of increasing the degree of scale reduction from 33 % to 72 % and 85 %, the strengthening of the manifestation of the solid solution of carbon and alloying elements in α-Fe relative to FeWO4, FeO and Fe3O4 was revealed. Fe3C, WC, W2C, FeW3C, Fe3W3C, Fe6W6C, VC, V2C, Cr3C2, Cr7C3 and Cr23C6 also appeared. Along with this, rounded and multifaceted particles with different chemical composition and the formation of a spongy microstructure were found. It was established that the most acceptable degree of recovery is 85 %. But achieving a recovery rate of 72 % is also sufficient. This is explained by the fact that the residual carbon in the carbides provides an increased reducing capacity, which is realized during the further reduction of oxides in the liquid metal during alloying. The spongy microstructure results in faster dissolution in contrast to standard ferroalloys, which provides a reduction in melting time while reducing spent resources. No phases with an increased tendency to sublimation were found in the obtained alloying material. That is, no additional conditions are needed that restrain the loss of alloying elements during evaporation with a gaseous phase, which provides an increase in the degree of extraction of the corresponding elements. The properties of the resulting alloying material make it possible to use it in metallurgical production when smelting alloyed steel grades in an electric arc furnace, the composition of which does not have strict restrictions on the carbon content [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
