Abstract

Formerly, the fixed exchange rate was identified as the main policy in economy, but in time it has been proved that the applicability of this policy in economy is not possible. With the new Keynesian approach, this situation has led to the formation and development of new monetary policies. The Keynesian model monetary policy in this article has been based on the flexible exchangerate. By applying the bifurcation theory on monetary policy parameters the interrelations among the inflation target value, the outputgap and the equilibrium real interest rate were examined.

Abstract

A model of the unfolded state of the N-terminal domain of ribosomal protein L9 (NTL9) in the absence of denaturant was generated by substitution of an alanine for phenylalanine 5 located in the core of this protein. Studies showed that the physiologically relevant unfolded state of wild-type NTL9 was more compact than the CD spectrum of the variant F5A since the mutation should reduce the level of hydrophobic clustering in the unfolded state in the absence of denaturant.

5. Design of a hyperstable protein by rational consideration of unfolded state interactions

Abstract

A demonstration that a hyperstable protein could be generated by rationally targeting unfolded state interactions is presented. Results reveals that deletion of interactions that stabilize the unfolded state of proteins and substitutions of D-Als for glycine residues with positive phis angles could be very useful strategy for rationally stabilizing proteins.

Bu tez çalışmasında uygulamalı matematik ve mühendislik bilimlerinde kullanılan cebirsel Riccati denklemlerinin nümerik çözümleri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada verilen cebirsel Riccati denkleminin Arnoldi metodu ile çözümü incelenmiştir. In this thesis the solutions of algebraic Riccati equation which are used in applied mathematics and engineering sciences are examined. Abstract

A study is conducted to demonstrate that significant enhancement n stability can be achieved by replacing glyciunes that have positive phi-angles with D-ala. The conclusion states that D-Ala substitution at a glycine site with a positive Phi-angle is a viable strategy for rationally increasing protein stability, as along as the additional methyl group does not introduce any steric clashes.
