Rationale & Objective: It is unclear whether the effect of canagliflozin on adverse kidney and cardiovascular events in those with diabetic kidney disease varies by age and sex. We assessed the effects of canagliflozin among age group categories and between sexes in the Canagliflozin and Renal Endpoints in Diabetes with Established Nephropathy Clinical Evaluation (CREDENCE) study.Study Design: Secondary analysis of a randomized controlled trial.Setting & Participants: Participants in the CREDENCE trial.Intervention: Participants were randomly assigned to receive canagliflozin 100 mg/d or placebo.Outcomes: Primary composite outcome of kidney failure, doubling of serum creatinine concentration, or death due to kidney or cardiovascular disease. Prespecified secondary and safety outcomes were also analyzed. Outcomes were evaluated by age at baseline (Results: The mean age of the cohort was 63.0 ± 9.2 years, and 34% were female. Older age and female sex were independently associated with a lower risk of the composite of adverse kidney outcomes. There was no evidence that the effect of canagliflozin on the primary outcome (a composite of kidney failure, a doubling of serum creatinine concentration, or death from kidney or cardiovascular causes) differed between age groups (HRs, 0.67 [95% CI, 0.52-0.87], 0.63 [0.48-0.82], and 0.89 [0.61-1.29] for ages Limitations: This was a post hoc analysis with multiple comparisons.Conclusions: Canagliflozin consistently reduced the relative risk of kidney events in people with diabetic kidney disease in both sexes and across age subgroups. As a result of greater background risk, the absolute reduction in adverse kidney outcomes was greater in younger participants.Funding: This post hoc analysis of the CREDENCE trial was not funded. This clinical feature describes the key elements of periodontal disease in the older patient with a clinical case to illustrate many of these features.

Statement of the problem: Smartphone technologies have changed the landscape of digital communication across society. The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of and requirement for technical solutions to facilitate remote clinical communications. Despite the benefits of smartphones in a clinical communication context, there are risks associated with their use. ##Purpose of the study: The primary purpose of this study was to determine the extent of smartphone use among dental professionals in the Republic of Ireland (ROI). In addition, we sought to determine the perception and knowledge of potential pitfalls, risks, and limitations of these technologies among the same population. A smaller cohort of UK dental professionals was surveyed for comparison. ##Materials and methods: An online quantitative survey was distributed to evaluate dental professionals’ knowledge and understanding of the risks and limitations of smartphone and mobile technology, providing general understanding of the current use of smartphone technology in healthcare in the ROI and the UK. ##Results: A total of 123 responses were received from dental professionals in the ROI (UK: n=77). The majority of dental professionals confirmed that they were aware of the risks associated with smartphone use and perceived that they were adequately skilled in digital professionalism. However, concerning practice regarding the communication of sensitive patient data was identified, with the potential for these data to be stored on insecure devices and cloud servers. Many ROI and UK dental professionals confirmed that they would need support to remove patient-identifying data when trading in their device. ##Conclusions: App, smartphone and mobile device ownership among dental professionals for clinical communications is widespread in the ROI (and UK), with respondents using their devices to send images (photos and radiographs) to one another. However, the risks of such activities are only partly acknowledged, with many having a lack of insight into data security.

Undergraduate instructional biology laboratories are typically taught within two paradigms. Some labs focus on protocols and techniques delivered in “cookbook” format with defined experimental outcomes. There is increasing momentum to alternatively employ student-driven, open-ended, and discovery-based strategies, often via course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) using crowd-sourcing initiatives. A fraction of students also participate in funded research in faculty research labs, where they have opportunities to work on projects designed to expand the frontiers of human knowledge. These experiences are widely recognized as valuable but are not scalable, as most institutions have many more undergraduates than research lab positions. We sought to address this gap through our department’s curriculum by creating an opportunity for students to participate in the real-world research process within a laboratory course. We conceived, developed, and delivered an authentic, guided research experience to students in an upper-level molecular biology laboratory course. We refer to this model as a “research program-linked CURE.” The research questions come directly from a faculty member’s research lab and evolve along with that research program. Students study post-transcriptional regulation in mycobacteria. We use current molecular biology methodologies to test hypotheses like “UTRs affect RNA and protein expression levels,” “there is functional redundancy among RNA helicases,” and “carbon starvation alters mRNA 5′ end chemistries.” We conducted standard assessments and developed a customized “Skills and Concepts Inventory” survey to gauge how well the course met our student learning outcomes. We report the results of our assessments and describe challenges addressed during development and execution of the course, including organizing activities to fit within an instructional lab, balancing breadth with depth, and maintaining authenticity while giving students the experience of obtaining interpretable and novel results. Our data suggest student learning was enhanced through this truly authentic research approach. Further, students were able to perceive they were participants and contributors within an active research paradigm. Students reported increases in their self-identification as scientists, and a positive impact on their career trajectories. An additional benefit was reciprocation back to the funded research laboratory, by funneling course alumni, results, materials, and protocols.

Management of waterfowl that migrate seasonally across North America occurs within four flyways that were delineated in the early 1900s to include the annual movements of populations. Movements may have changed over the past century since administrative flyways were established, and may do so while management plans are in use, so information about transitions among flyways through time can illustrate how management assumptions may change. Today there are over 12 million records from 60 years of migratory waterfowl band recoveries to assess adaptive management approaches that will be most effective when they account for movements within and between flyways. We examined how much movement of North American waterfowl occurs between flyways, whether those movements have changed through time, and whether movements of mallards are representative of multiple species, as suggested by current harvest management strategies. We estimated the probability a duck would transition from one flyway to another and the strength of migratory connectivity (MC) for each species within and among flyways. We used capture-mark-recovery models to estimate population-specific movement within and among flyways (transition probabilities) for 15 migratory waterfowl species that were banded during breeding and recovered during winter. We developed new functionality in the R package MigConnectivity to estimate the species-specific strength of migratory connectivity using transition probability samples from the capture-mark-recovery models. We found regular movement of duck populations among flyways, overall weak migratory connectivity, and no consistent change in migratory movements through time. Mallard movements were median among all duck species, but significantly different from many species, particularly diving ducks. Despite the significant movement between flyways, our work suggests flyway management of waterfowl matches many of the seasonal movements of these species when considering mid-continent flyway management. We recommend models accounting for all transition probabilities between populations and regularly estimate harvest derivations, transition probabilities, and migratory connectivity metrics to verify that the current movements match model assumptions.

Background: Cystic Fibrosis is the most common autosomal recessive genetic condition in the Caucasian population. Oral health in adults with Cystic Fibrosis is an area lacking in research, due to their historic low life expectancy. The age profile of people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is increasing, due in part to improved therapies. Further study is needed in order to ascertain their dental needs and improve provision of care to these medically vulnerable individuals.Methods: A cross sectional survey was carried out. A structured, anonymous online questionnaire, with both quantitative and qualitative aspects, was used to obtain information regarding their feelings towards dentists and dental appointments. The final version of the questionnaire was based on a collaborative effort between researchers at Cork University Dental School and Hospital and Cystic Fibrosis patient advocates from Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. The inclusion criteria were people over the age of 18 years with a diagnosis of CF. Participants were recruited via CF Ireland’s mailing list and social media channels. The quantitative portion of the questionnaire underwent statistical analysis using IBM SPSS. The qualitative portion underwent inductive thematic analysis.Results: A total of 71 adults with CF responded to the survey. 54.9% of respondents were unhappy with their teeth. 63.4% felt that CF had an impact on oral health. 33.8% were anxious about attending their dentist. 54.9% felt that dentists should be part of the multidisciplinary team. Respondents believed that CF has impacted on their oral health due to the medications and dietary requirements involved, as well as tiredness and other side effects of CF. Some reasons for being anxious about attending the dentist involve cross infection concerns, issues with the dentist, with tolerating treatment, and with the teeth themselves. They wanted dentists to be aware of the practicalities of dental treatment for people with CF, especially their discomfort with lying back. They also want the dentist to be aware of the impact that their medication, treatment and diet has on their oral health.Conclusions: Over a third of PWCF reported anxiety about attending the dentist. Reasons for this included fear, embarrassment, cross infection concerns and problems with treatment, especially being in the supine position. PWCF want dentists to be aware of the impact that CF can have upon dental treatment and oral health care.

To evaluate the dental attendance, oral hygiene habits, and dietary habits of adults with Cystic Fibrosis in the Republic of Ireland.A cross-sectional study was carried out using a structured anonymous questionnaire. A total of 71 adults with Cystic Fibrosis responded. While the majority of respondents (66.2%) saw a dentist in the preceding year, 15.5% had not attended a dentist for over 2 years. Smoking and alcohol consumption levels were low. 63.4% brushed twice or more daily, with 70.4% using a Fluoride containing toothpaste. 62% did not use any interdental cleaning aid. 5.6% changed their toothbrush at least once a month, but for 22.5% it was over 6 months. 70.4% used fluoride toothpaste. 38% snacked three or more times daily and 29.5% consumed fizzy drinks at least once daily.The alcohol and tobacco consumption in this study group was low. However, a large proportion frequently consumed sugar-rich foods, and they did not change their toothbrush, brush their teeth, or attend the dentist as regularly as is advised. More targeted advice may be necessary to improve the oral hygiene habits of adults with Cystic Fibrosis.

The durability of gender inequality in contemporary societies raises questions about the development and diffusion of inegalitarian beliefs about the roles of men and women in politics and economics. Recent comparative research suggests the empowerment of women in politics is important for promoting egalitarian beliefs about women in authoritative political roles. This study extends on this perspective by examining how female empowerment in politics and economics interplays with beliefs about the relative competency of women in these institutions. We argue the empowerment of women in politics and economics is important for reducing inegalitarian beliefs about women in these institutions, but the prevalence of these beliefs hinders female empowerment in these institutions. We test these arguments using data on 86,324 respondents in 51 countries from the fifth and sixth waves of the World Value Survey. Estimates from hierarchal linear models show individuals possess more egalitarian beliefs about women in countries with greater female empowerment in politics and economics and this effect is amplified among male respondents. In addition, estimates from seemingly unrelated regression models show the prevalence of inegalitarian gender beliefs among both men and women is associated with lower levels of female empowerment. However, the prevalence of these beliefs among male respondents exerts the greatest effect on female empowerment in politics and economics. Overall, this study shows gender beliefs and the empowerment of women in politics and economics act as mutually constitutive forces of gender inequality and ideologies in contemporary society.

The impact of globalization on the enactment and practice of collective labor rights (CLR) in the global South remains a contested issue in the global political economy literature. Some scholars suggest southern firms and states suppress CLR to maintain global competitiveness in labor-intensive manufacturing. Other scholars contend that globalization improves CLR as globally integrated firms increasingly “upgrade” to more capital- and skill-intensive manufacturing. This study empirically adjudicates these claims by examining whether the integration of southern firms into global production networks indirectly affects CLR through the skill upgrading of the industrial labor force. I test this proposition using unbalanced panel data on collective labor laws and practices in 55 low- and middle-income countries from 1985 to 2002. Estimates from generalized path models show that greater manufacturing exports to northern countries and inward foreign direct investment stock are directly associated with a decrease in collective labor practices net of institutional, political, and macroeconomic conditions. Most importantly, I find that manufacturing exports indirectly reduce collective labor practices by decreasing the skill composition of the industrial labor force. Overall, this study provides novel evidence that the globalization of production directly reduces collective labor practices in the global South and indirectly reduces these practices through hindering skill development in industrial labor.

The growth of wage inequality during a period of rapid economic development and reform in China raises questions about the nature of economic stratification in contemporary Chinese society. The most prominent explanation is that the transition to a market economy contributed to the growth of wage inequality by increasing the returns to human capital and skill in China. However, recent research suggests that the labor market in China is highly segmented across economic sectors because of preferential state investment and reform of strategic sectors. We contend that the growth and prominence of the financial sector in China empowered financial labor to obtain greater compensation, which created a wage premium in the sector. Drawing on nationally representative data on Chinese urban households, we test this argument by estimating adjusted wage differentials between financial and non-financial sectors across the distribution of earnings since the late 1980s. Estimates show that a wage premium emerged in the mid-1990s for low, median, and high earners in the financial sector. Over the next two decades, wage disparities within the financial sector increased as the wage premium shrank for low earners in the sector while expanding for high earners in the sector. We find that this dynamic is explained by growing occupational stratification in the financial sector, where the wage premium greatly expanded for the highest-paid managers and executives. Overall, this study extends the literature on contemporary economic inequality in China by identifying how excessive compensation among top earners in the financial sector contributed to wage inequality.

The bush dog (Speothos venaticus) is rare, elusive, and difficult to study in the wild. Guyana contains a wealth of intact tropical forest (∼18.4 million ha) and savanna (1.6 million ha) habitats, but management of this species is hindered by a lack of data. We present two photographic records (consisting of nine individuals) of bush dogs from camera-traps set in the Kanuku Mountains Protected Area (KMPA) – the first of this species in Guyana. These records highlight the importance of Guiana Shield forests and Guyana’s expanding protected areas system to the conservation of these wide-ranging carnivores. Additionally, we recommend that detailed measurement and reporting of site variables become standard, as it will improve the efficacy of camera-trap studies of bush dogs and allow for broad-scale modelling of space use not otherwise possible due to the low detection rates at the scale of each individual study.

Purpose Determining the role of DYNC2H1 variants in nonsyndromic inherited retinal disease (IRD). Methods Genome and exome sequencing were performed for five unrelated cases of IRD with no identified variant. In vitro assays were developed to validate the variants identified (fibroblast assay, induced pluripotent stem cell [iPSC] derived retinal organoids, and a dynein motility assay). Results Four novel DYNC2H1 variants (V1, g.103327020_103327021dup; V2, g.103055779A>T; V3, g.103112272C>G; V4, g.103070104A>C) and one previously reported variant (V5, g.103339363T>G) were identified. In proband 1 (V1/V2), V1 was predicted to introduce a premature termination codon (PTC), whereas V2 disrupted the exon 41 splice donor site causing incomplete skipping of exon 41. V1 and V2 impaired dynein-2 motility in vitro and perturbed IFT88 distribution within cilia. V3, homozygous in probands 2–4, is predicted to cause a PTC in a retina-predominant transcript. Analysis of retinal organoids showed that this new transcript expression increased with organoid differentiation. V4, a novel missense variant, was in trans with V5, previously associated with Jeune asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy (JATD). Conclusion The DYNC2H1 variants discussed herein were either hypomorphic or affecting a retina-predominant transcript and caused nonsyndromic IRD. Dynein variants, specifically DYNC2H1 variants are reported as a cause of non syndromic IRD.

Assessing when dental trainees are ready to independently undertake clinical procedures at specialist level is critical for dental postgraduate programmes to determine when a trainee is ‘work ready’, in addition to ensuring patient safety. Entrustable professional activities (EPA) are a novel method of competency-based assessment. An EPA is a unit of professional practice or critical clinical activity identified within dental training programmes, which should be assessed during training, to establish if trainees are ready for independent practice, with a progressive decrease in supervision, based on supervisors’ entrustment decisions. This article describes EPAs, entrustment decisions, including entrustment supervision scales and the process recommended to develop EPAs within dental curricula. EPAs have not been formally introduced for assessment within dental education programmes in the United Kingdom, but recent developments have been described in undergraduate dental education globally.\ud\udClinical significance: Competency-based assessments need to be continually developed to adapt to rapidly changing population health care and dental needs, to determine when dental trainees are ready for independent clinical practice. Early development of entrustable professional activities for assessment in undergraduate dental programmes has been well received by both trainees and supervisors. Further investigation is required to consider formal development of EPAs within postgraduate dental programmes.

Currently, the analytical techniques used to visualize the internal structure of human dental calculus and entrapped inclusions are limited and require destructive sampling, which cannot always be justified.Approach: We used propagation phase-contrast synchrotron radiation micro-computed tomography (PPC-SR-��CT) to non-destructively examine the internal organization of dental calculus, including its microstructure and entrapped inclusions, on both modern and archeological samples.Results: The virtual histological exploration of the samples shows that PPC-SR-��CT is a powerful approach to visualize the internal organization of dental calculus. We identified several important features, including previously undetected negative imprints of enamel and dentine growth markers (perikymata and periradicular bands, respectively), the non-contiguous structure of calculus layers with multiple voids, and entrapped plant remains.Conclusions: PPC-SR-��CT is an effective technique to explore dental calculus structural organization, and is especially powerful for enabling the identification of inclusions. The non-destructive nature of synchrotron tomography helps protect samples for future research. However, the irregular layers and frequent voids reveal a high heterogeneity and variability within calculus, with implications for research focusing on inclusions., Published by SPIE, [Bellingham, Wash.]

This scoping review aims to review explore, assess, and map the literature to inform clinical practice regarding communication between clinicians. Specific Apps/channels used were identified and assessed with a focus on data security with key concepts and knowledge gaps identified.The Joanna Briggs Institute framework is followed, with search results reported as per the PRISMA ScR for scoping reviews guidelines.A systematic search strategy encompassing EBSCO and OneSearch databases was conducted - two identical searches, (June and October 2020) limited to English language articles published 2016-2020. A narrative synthesis was used to integrate and report the findings.Sixty-six publications were selected. Twelve from EBSCO, thirty-five from OneSearch, nineteen were hand searched. Sixteen of the publications were research studies, nine were literature reviews, twenty-six were editorial, one was a newspaper article and fourteen were grey literature. Instant Messaging (40%, n = 23), image sharing (41%, n = 24), and video conferencing (19%, n = 11) were functions most popular with clinicians. WhatsApp, generic instant messaging, Facebook messenger, ZOOM, and Skype are evidenced as channels for communication between clinicians within the EU. A sizeable proportion of the publications (38%; n = 25) failed to identify or adequately address technical security concerns and requirements around privacy and data protection.Clinicians use smartphones /Apps to communicate clinical information with each other. The security and privacy issues arising from their communication of sensitive data is absent or only superficially acknowledged within the literature.Clinician's need clearer guidance on the use of smartphone technology for clinical communications.

OBJECTIVES The objectives of this article are to list the most commonly prescribed Oral Nutritional Supplements in the UK and Ireland and their sugar content; and to raise awareness among the dental profession regarding their uses and potential dental risks involved. BACKGROUND Many older patients benefit from Oral Nutritional Supplements. Prescribers may not consider dental implications of these. Patients may not think to disclose these medications to their dentist. MATERIALS AND METHODS A list of commonly prescribed Oral Nutritional Supplements in the UK and Ireland was compiled. Nutritional information was obtained from the manufacturers' website and arranged in order of decreasing sugar content. Potential dental implications are discussed and recommendations made for dental practitioners. RESULTS Pre-formed Oral Nutritional Supplements can contain between 6.6 and 27.2 g of sugar per serving. Powdered Oral Nutritional Supplements, which are to be mixed with 200 ml whole milk, contain between 16.4 and 35.0 g sugar per serving. The "shot"-type Oral Nutritional Supplements contain less sugar, ranging from 0.0 to 4.0 g per serving. CONCLUSIONS The sugar content of frequently prescribed Oral Nutritional Supplements can be high. While they are beneficial in assisting the patient to maintain a healthy BMI, they may increase the risk of dental caries. Dental professionals should enquire specifically about Oral Nutritional Supplements during history taking, particularly in groups who are likely to be prescribed such supplements. Consideration should also be given to increasing caries-preventive measures for patients who take these supplements.

Introduction and background Incidence of gram-negative bloodstream infections (GNBSIs) and sepsis are rising in the UK. Healthcare-associated risk factors have been identified that increase the risk of infection and associated mortality. Current research is focused on identifying high-risk patients and improving the methods used for surveillance. Sources of data Comprehensive literature search of the topic area using PubMed (Medline). Government, professional and societal publications were also reviewed. Areas of agreement A range of healthcare-associated risk factors independently associate with the risk of GNBSIs and sepsis. Areas of controversy There are calls to move away from using simple comorbidity scores to predict the risk of sepsis-associated mortality, instead more advanced multimorbidity models should be considered. Growing points and areas for developing research Advanced risk models should be created and evaluated for their ability to predict sepsis-associated mortality. Investigations into the accuracy of NEWS2 to predict sepsis-associated mortality are required.

In 2020, the European Federation of Periodontology published an S3-level clinical practice guideline for the management of Stage I-III periodontitis. This guideline discusses four steps of periodontal therapy and provides 62 individual recommendations for prevention and management of disease. Supporting information about the strength of recommendation and level of consensus for each recommendation is also provided. The S3 guideline represents a major milestone in the specialty, and is likely to play a major role in enhancing and standardising the approach to periodontal care among educators and clinicians. This article provides a review of the meeting framework and a commentary on the clinical practice guideline, highlighting key recommendations of interest to the dental team in each treatment step. The World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal and Peri-implant Diseases and Conditions was convened in 2017 and resulted in the publication of a new classification system in 2018.1 This replaces the formerly used 1999 (Armitage) Classification.2 The complete Workshop proceedings are available to clinicians for free online via the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) website.3 The new process for diagnosing and classifying cases of periodontitis incorporates staging and grading of each case.4 At its simplest, the stage represents an interpretation of periodontitis severity and complexity of management of the case. The grade provides supplemental evidence on the historic rate of disease progression, and can help to identify cases where risk factors exist and/or where expected outcomes of therapy may be less favourable.5 Diagnostic decision trees may be of value to practitioners in applying the new classification in daily practice. The current series utilises the decision tree published by the British Society of Periodontology (BSP),6 as this arguably represents the simplest approach to classifying periodontitis cases.

Objectives Chlorhexidine (CHX) is a commonly used antiseptic mouthwash, used by dental practitioners and the public, due to its antimicrobial effects. The aim of this article was to provide a narrative review of current antimicrobial uses of CHX relevant to dentistry in the context of oral diseases, highlighting need for further studies to support its safe and appropriate use. Study selection, data and sources Randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and national (UK and US) guidelines were consulted where available, with search terms for each subject category entered into MEDLINE, PubMed, Google Scholar and the Cochrane database. Results Some evidence existed to support adjunctive short-term use of CHX to manage dental plaque, and reduce clinical symptoms of gingivitis, dry socket, as well as reduce aerosolisation of bacteria. However, use must be weighed alongside the less desirable effects of CHX, including extrinsic staining of teeth, antimicrobial resistance to antiseptic agents and the rare, but fatal, allergic reactions to CHX. Conversely, evidence for the effectiveness of chlorhexidine to manage or prevent periodontitis, dental caries, necrotising periodontal diseases, peri-implantitis, and infections associated with extraction and aerosolised viruses remains less certain. Conclusions The use of CHX in dentistry and oral healthcare continues to be widespread and thus it is important that dental practitioners understand that, based on its differential mechanisms of action on different microbes, appropriate clinical and dental use of CHX should be oral disease specific. However, further scientific and clinical research is required before full recommendations can be made.

Background Arkansas is a rural state of 3 million people. It is ranked fifth for poverty nationally.1 The first case of COVID‐19 in Arkansas occurred on March 11, 2020. Since then, approximately 8% of all Arkansans have tested positive. Given the resource limitations of Arkansas, COVID‐19 convalescent plasma (CCP) was explored as a potentially life‐saving, therapeutic option. Therefore, the Arkansas Initiative for Convalescent Plasma was developed to ensure that every Arkansan has access to this therapy. Study Design and Method This brief report describes the statewide collaborative response from hospitals, blood collectors, and the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) to ensure that COVID‐19 convalescent plasma was available in a resource‐limited state. Results Early contact tracing by ADH identified individuals who had come into contact with “patient zero” in early March. Within the first week, 32 patients tested positive for COVID‐19. The first set of CCP collections occurred on April 9, 2020. Donors had to be triaged carefully in the initial period, as many had recently resolved their symptoms. From our first collections, with appropriate resource and inventory management, we collected sufficient CCP to provide the requested number of units for every patient treated with CCP in Arkansas. Conclusions The Arkansas Initiative, a statewide effort to ensure CCP for every patient in a resource‐limited state, required careful coordination among key players. Glycosylation is a common post-translational modification and critical quality attribute that can modulate the efficacy of therapeutic proteins. In the production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), quantifying the glycoform profile is a vital characterization step. Traditional glycan analysis is time consuming and involves steps at extreme temperature or pH, which may alter glycans. Here, we describe a rapid method for glycan analysis in which glycans are released from mAb samples that are bound to protein A columns. Since host cell proteins, which may also contain glycans, were already removed, this step enables analysis of cell culture products. Glycans released from the mAb samples are then derivatized with InstantPC™ labeling agent and analyzed by HILIC-FLD-MS. To illustrate the method, the glycan profiles of six trastuzumab (Herceptin®) antibody lots and four biosimilar developmental lots were analyzed. The results derived from our novel method, which takes less than 90 min, are compared with those from a typical glycan preparation approach.
