Abstract

No contexto contemporâneo, as transformações nos modos de produção e na organização do trabalho, sobretudo impulsionadas pelo capitalismo de plataforma, têm efeitos significativos sobre a subjetividade e a saúde mental dos trabalhadores. Este estudo tem como objetivo investigar as dinâmicas do trabalho digital sob a ótica da psicanálise, destacando a influência do discurso capitalista colonial na constituição da subjetividade e os seus impactos na saúde mental dos indivíduos. A pesquisa se debruça sobre as teorias de Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud e Jacques Lacan, assim como sobre os estudos contemporâneos acerca do trabalho digital e do capitalismo de plataforma. Os resultados apontam para uma crescente precarização do trabalho e uma subjetividade marcada pela urgência, pela quantificação e pelo controle, características estas que estão em consonância com os valores do capitalismo neoliberal. Observa-se que o modelo de trabalho digital, ao passo que promove a liberdade e a autonomia, paradoxalmente conduz à intensificação da exploração e ao adoecimento psíquico, evidenciando a necessidade de repensar as relações de trabalho na era digital. Este trabalho convida o leitor a uma reflexão crítica sobre as nuances do trabalho digital e os desafios impostos à saúde mental no cenário neoliberal contemporâneo.

Abstract

Aesthetic judgement plays a key role in many aspects of everyday life, judging an object to be aesthetically pleasing often heightens the pleasure and enjoyment derived from that object. One area where this applies is artwork, where most genres and styles of art heavily rely on being considered aesthetically pleasing. It has been shown that an aesthetic judgement of a piece of art combines many different aspects, all contributing to the assessment. Identifying and understanding these aspects for 2D images has been extensively investigated, however, 3D items have not been considered to the same degree. In this paper, we investigate which aspects contribute to the aesthetic judgement of 3D virtual sculptures, using a gamified approach within a custom VR environment. Participants were able to express which aspects contributed to their assessment of the virtual sculptures. We found that some stalwart 2D aspects, such as complexity and order, are not as highly important for 3D items, being replaced by other characteristics such as how dynamic the sculpture appeared.

33. Feasibility and User Experience of Digital Patient Monitoring for Real-World Patients With Lung or Breast Cancer

Abstract

Background Digital patient monitoring (DPM) tools can facilitate early symptom management for patients with cancer through systematic symptom reporting; however, low adherence can be a challenge. We assessed patient/healthcare professional (HCP) use of DPM in routine clinical practice.Materials and Methods Patients with locally advanced/metastatic lung cancer or HER2-positive breast cancer received locally approved/reimbursed drugs alongside DPM, with elements tailored by F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, on the Kaiku Health DPM platform. Patient access to the DPM tool was through their own devices (eg, laptops, PCs, smartphones, or tablets), via either a browser or an app on Apple iOS or Android devices. Coprimary endpoints were patient DPM tool adoption (positive threshold: 60%) and week 1-6 adherence to weekly symptom reporting (positive threshold: 70%). Secondary endpoints included experience and clinical impact.Results At data cutoff (June 9, 2022), adoption was 85% and adherence was 76%. Customer satisfaction and effort scores for patients were 76% and 82%, respectively, and 83% and 79% for HCPs. Patients spent approximately 10 minutes using the DPM tool and completed approximately 1.0 symptom questionnaires per week (completion time 1-4 minutes). HCPs spent approximately 1-3 minutes a week using the tool per patient. Median time to HCP review for alerted versus non-alerted symptom questionnaires was 19.6 versus 21.5 hours. Most patients and HCPs felt that the DPM tool covered/mostly covered symptoms experienced (71% and 75%), was educational (65% and 92%), and improved patient-HCP conversations (70% and 83%) and cancer care (51% and 71%).Conclusion The DPM tool demonstrated positive adoption, adherence, and user experience for patients with lung/breast cancer, suggesting that DPM tools may benefit clinical cancer care. Abstract

We obtain a construction of the total spherical perspective with ruler, compass, and nail. This is a generalization of the spherical perspective of Barre and Flocon to a 360 degree field of view. Since the 1960s, several generalizations of this perspective have been proposed, but they were either works of a computational nature, inadequate for drawing with simple instruments, or lacked a general method for solving all vanishing points. We establish a general setup for anamorphosis and central perspective, define the total spherical perspective within this framework, study its topology, and show how to solve it with simple instruments. We consider its uses both in freehand drawing and in computer visualization, and its relation with the problem of reflection on a sphere., Comment: Major revision of the 2015 version, with many changes, including and a new title. Abstract

ROS1 rearrangements are considered rare in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This retrospective real-world study aimed to evaluate first-line treatment with crizotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) standard of care vs. new generation ROS1 anti-cancer agents. Forty-nine ROS1-expressing NSCLC patients, diagnosed with advanced metastatic disease, were included. Molecular profiling using either FISH/CISH or NGS was performed on tissue samples. Twenty-eight patients were treated with crizotinib, while fourteen patients were administered newer drugs (entrectinib, repotrectinib) and seven patients received platinum-doublet chemotherapy in a first-line setting. Overall response rate and disease control rate for the crizotinib and entrectinb/repotrectinib cohort were 68% and 82% vs. 86% and 93%, respectively. Median progression free survival was 1.6 years (95% CI 1.15–2.215) for the crizotinib treatment vs. 2.35 years for the entrectinib/repotrectinib cohort (95% CI 1.19–3.52). Central nervous system progression was noted in 20% and 25% of the crizotinib and entrectinib/repotrectinib cohorts, respectively. This multi-center study presents real-world treatment patterns of ROS1 NSCLC population, indicating that crizotinib exhibited comparable results to entrectinib/repotrectinib in a first-line setting, although both response rate and survival was numerically longer with treatment with newer agents. Abstract

This article seeks to understand the process of construction of a mode of subjectivity which are implicit in the conception of subject of desire produced by Lacanian psychoanalytic theory and operationalized by psychoanalysts in the therapeutic process. Through the analysis of data collected in ethnography carried out in Lacanian institutions, the objective here is to apprehend how these psychoanalysts conceive the articulation between theory and clinic, and how this articulation results in a specific conception of person that guides the production of psychological realities. The therapy directs the management of life / health through concepts such as structural lack, singularity and responsibility, which are mobilized by psychoanalysts and incorporated by analysands in the way they understand themselves. The relationship between psychoanalysis and the neoliberal thought system is argued, through the notion of the person present in Western societies, such as the autonomous and free individual in constant search for satisfaction. Psychoanalysis appears not only as a reflection of the social context in which it is inserted, but as a space for the elaboration its agency mechanisms. Thus, through ethnography, the individuation processes present in the mode of subjectivity inherent in neoliberal contexts are evidenced.

Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar modos específicos de concepção e produção da política e subjetivação a partir de dois campos de pesquisa etnográficos. O primeiro está relacionado à produção e transmissão do saber em uma instituição de formação lacaniana que orienta psicanalistas na construção de formas específicas de subjetivação. O segundo expõe os efeitos dessa construção de subjetivação na prática de cuidado em um Serviço Residencial Terapêutico. A ideia principal é apreender o modo como psicanalistas e demais profissionais envolvidos nessa rede de assistência acionam uma ideia de política para justificar ações de cuidado formuladas a partir de noções de singularidade e responsabilização dos sujeitos. Ao considerarmos os efeitos da Reforma Psiquiátrica nos contextos etnografados, buscamos evidenciar como saberes e tecnologias produzem política, modos de subjetivação e o manejo da população.
