In this study, to enhance the catalytic activity and minimize the carbon/coke formation, cerium incorporated alumina-supported new Ni–Ce–Al catalysts were investigated in dry reforming of biogas. Ni–Ce–Al catalysts were synthesized by the modified one-pot sol-gel method in an inert environment. To determine the effect of the Ce/Al ratio on physicochemical properties of catalysts and their activity, Ni (5 wt %) catalysts with different Ce/Al ratios (0/1, 1/2, 1/1, 2/1 b y wt.) were tested in a fixed-bed flow reactor using an equimolar ratio of CH4/CO2/Ar gas mixture. To explain the correlation between catalytic activity and catalyst properties, characterization studies were carried out by using N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, XPS, XRD, SEM-EDS, TEM, ICP-OES, DRIFT, O2-TPO and TGA methods before and after activity tests. XRD analysis showed that both CeO2 and γ-Al2O3 crystalline phases with metallic Ni having different peak intensities were separately formed in all the catalysts. Among the catalysts of different Ce/Al ratios, the Ni–1Ce–1Al catalyst containing equal amounts of Al and Ce has the smallest CeO2 crystallite size. This catalyst also has the highest pore diameter and volume. XPS analysis showed that Ce incorporation into the Ni-based Al2O3 catalyst decreased the NiAl2O4 formation. DRIFT analysis indicated that the addition of ceria into the support material decreased the Lewis acidity of alumina. During 25-h long-term activity test, the conversions of CH4 and CO2 obtained with the catalyst Ni–1Ce–1Al (Ce/Al ratio is 1/1) were approximately the same and averaged 76% and 85%, respectively. This behavior of the catalyst indicates its high stability. TGA, XRD and SEM analyzes performed with the used Ni–1Ce–1Al and Ni–Al catalysts show very little carbon formation in the catalyst containing equal weights of Ce and Al compared to the catalyst without Ce. This result shows that the addition of cerium to the catalyst structure prevents carbon deposition due to its special oxygen mobility. This study showed that the crystallite size of CeO2 in the catalyst structure strongly influences preventing carbon accumulation in the dry reforming reaction.

Amaç: Bu çalışmamızda amaç kliniğimize hiponatremi nedeniyle yatırılmış olan hastaların genel özelliklerini ve etyolojilerini araştırmayı amaçladıkYöntemler: Ocak 2019 ile Aralık 2019 ayları arasında kliniğimize hiponatremi nedeniyle yatırılan 110 hastanın dosyası retrospektif olarak tarandı. Hastaların demografik bilgileri ve hiponatremi türleri ve etyolojileri incelendiBulgular: Çalışmaya alınan 111 hastanın 1 tanesi psödohiponatremi olduğu için çalışmadan çıkartıldı. Çalışmaya gerçek hiponatremisi olam 34 (%30,9) erkek, 76 (%69,1) kadın ve yaş ortalaması 71.44±11.90 (31-92) yıl olan toplam 110 hasta alınmıştır. Hastaların volüm durumuna göre sınıflandırıldığında 28 hasta ( % 25.5) hipervolemik, 55 hasta(%50) övolemik, 27( %24.5) hasta hipovolemik hiponatremi olarak değerlendirildi. Sonuç: Hiponatreminin en sık nedeni övolemik hiponatremi olarak saptandı ve övalemik hiponatremininde en sık nedeni (31 hasta % 56,4) ilaçlar özellikle de diüretikli antihipertansifler olarak saptandı.

Bu çalışmada, metanın kuru reformlanma reaksiyonu ile sentez gazı eldesi için aktif, kararlı ve karbon oluşumuna karşı dirençli katalizörler geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, SBA-15 destekli Ni, Ni-Al, Ni-Zr ve Ni-Ti katalizörleri ile Al-SBA-15 ve Zr-SBA-15 destekli Ni katalizörleri farklı sentez yöntemleri ile hazırlanmıştır. Mezogözenekli SBA-15 destek malzemesi hidrotermal yöntem ile sentezlenmiştir. Al-SBA-15 ve Zr-SBA-15 destek malzemeleri tek-kap hidrotermal sentez yöntemiyle HCl (A), NaCl (S) ve HCl ile NaCl’ün (B) birlikte ilave edildiği üç farklı sentez koşulunda sentezlenmiştir. Hazırlanan tüm katalizörlerin reaksiyon öncesi ve/veya sonrası XRD, N2 adsorpsiyon-desorpsiyon, ICP-OES, SEM, TEM, TG, piridin adsorplanmış FTIR analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Hazırlanan katalizörlerin metanın kuru reformlanma reaksiyonundaki aktiviteleri 750 °C sıcaklıkta sabit yataklı reaktör sisteminde test edilmiştir. Emdirme yöntemi ile hazırlanan SBA-15 destekli Ni, Ni-Al, Ni-Zr ve Ni-Ti katalizörleri arasında en yüksek aktivite 5Ni@ katalizöründen elde edilirken, bu katalizörün yapısında yüksek miktarda karbon birikimi belirlenmiştir. Sentez çözeltisine HCl ve NaCl’ün birlikte ilave edilerek hazırlanan Al-SBA-15 destekli Ni (5Ni@10Al-B) katalizörü yüksek katalitik aktivite göstermesine rağmen bu katalizörün yapısında da yüksek miktarda karbon birikimi olmuştur. Alüminyum kaynağının katalizörün aktivitesine ve karbon oluşumu üzerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla alüminyum nitrat tuzu kullanılarak sentezlenen 5Ni@10Al (n)-B katalizöründe bu çalışmada ulaşılan en yüksek katalitik aktivite (%86 CH4 ve %88 CO2 dönüşümü, 1,36 H2 verimi) elde edilmiş ve dört saatlik reaksiyon sonrası katalizör yüzeyindeki karbon miktarı da %0,015 olarak bulunmuştur. Zr-SBA-15 destekli Ni katalizörleri arasında en yüksek aktiviteyi ve aktiviteye göre en düşük karbon oluşumunu 5Ni@10Zr-A katalizörü ile elde edilmiştir. Sentez koşulunun ürünün yapısal ve fiziksel özelliklerini ve özellikle SBA-15 malzemesinin morfolojisini ve asiditesini değiştirdiği belirlenmiştir. 5Ni@10Al(n)-B katalizörü üzerinde yürütülen deneysel çalışmalar sonucu reaksiyonun görünür aktivasyon enerjisi 16,45 kcal/mol bulunmuştur. The aim of this study is to develop active, stable and carbon-resistant catalysts to produce synthesis gas by dry reforming of methane. For this purpose, SBA-15 supported Ni, Ni-Al, Ni-Zr, and Ni-Ti catalysts and Al-SBA-15, Zr-SBA-15 supported Ni catalysts were synthesized by different methods. Mesoporous SBA-15 support material was synthesized by using a hydrothermal procedure. Al-SBA-15 and Zr-SBA-15 support materials were synthesized following a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis method in three different synthesis conditions using HCl (A), NaCl (S) and both HCl and NaCl (B). All catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, ICP-OES, SEM, TEM, TG and pyridine adsorbed FTIR analysis before and/or after reaction tests. All prepared catalysts were tested in dry reforming of methane at 750 °C in a fixed bed reactor. Among SBA-15 supported Ni, Ni-Al, Ni-Zr, and Ni-Ti catalysts prepared by the impregnation method, 5Ni@ catalyst showed the highest catalytic activity in dry reforming of methane; however, a high amount of carbon formation was obtained in the structure of this catalyst. Although Al-SBA-15 supported Ni catalyst prepared by adding HCl and NaCl together to the synthesis solution showed high catalytic activity, there was also a high amount of carbon deposition in the structure of this catalyst. The highest catalytic activity achieved in this study (86% CH4 and 88% CO2 conversion, 1.36 H2 yield) was obtained in 5Ni@10Al (n)-B catalyst, which was synthesized using aluminium nitrate salt to investigate the effect of aluminium source on catalyst activity and carbon formation, and the amount of carbon on catalyst surface at the end of 4 h reaction was 0.015%. Among Zr-SBA-15 supported Ni catalysts, the highest catalytic activity was obtained with 5Ni@10Zr-A catalyst. It was found that the synthesis condition changed the structural and physical properties of the product, and in particular the morphology and acidity of the SBA-15 material. The apparent activation energy of the reaction was found to be 16.45 kcal/mol as a result of experimental studies conducted on 5Ni@10Al (n)-B catalyst.

In this study effect of one of preparation steps, reduction temperature, and reaction temperature on activity of catalyst and coke formation were investigated. Mesoporous alumina materials were prepared by following a sol-gel method. The catalysts with different nickel amount (16 wt% and 8 wt%) were synthesized via one-pot and impregnation methods and reduced at different reduction temperatures (550 degrees C and 750 degrees C). Dry reforming of methane reaction was performed at 600 degrees C and 750 degrees C in a packed bed reactor system. It was observed that increase in the reduction temperature led nickel in the structure of the catalyst to form metallic Ni and increased the crystal size of Ni through sintering and changed the fractional methane conversion and selectivity of hydrogen. At high reaction temperature occurrence of reverse water gas shift and coke formation reactions as side reactions of dry reforming of methane could be reduced.

Bu çalışmada, mezogözenekli alümina destekli bimetalik Ni ve Co katalizörler sıralı emdirme yöntemiyle hazırlanmışlardır. Hazırlanan mezogözenekli bimetalik katalizörlerin aktiviteleri 750 oC'de metanın kuru reformlanma reaksiyonunda test edilmiştir. Katalizörlerin reaksiyon öncesi ve/veya sonrası N2 adsorpsiyon/desorpsiyon, XRD, TPR, SEM/EDX ve TG/DT analizleri yürütülmüştür. TPR analizleri, Ni ve Co metallerinin katalizör yapısına emdirme sırasının katalizör yapısındaki metallerin indirgenebilirliğini etkilediğini göstermiştir. Co-Ni içerikli bimetalik katalizörlerin hazırlanmasında emdirme sırasının katalizör içindeki metallerin indirgenmelerini ve dolayısıyla katalitik performanslarını önemli ölçüde etkilediği gösterilmiştir. Önce Ni sonra Co yüklenerek hazırlanan katalizörde kobaltın daha fazla indirgenmiş olduğu ve dolayısıyla Co@Ni@SGA katalizörünün daha kararlı ve yüksek aktivite gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Bimetalik Ni-Co katalizörler metanın kuru reformlanma reaksiyonuna yüksek aktivite gösterirken, karbon oluşumuna da yüksek direnç göstermişlerdir. Metanın kuru reformlanma reaksiyonunda yüksek aktivite gösteren Co@Ni@SGA katalizörünün üzerinde biriken karbon miktarı (kütlece %3,6), Ni@Co@SGA katalizörüne (kütlece %2,1) göre daha yüksektir. Elde edilen ürün dağılımındaki H2/CO oranı 0,78 olarak belirlenmiştir. In this study, mesoporous alumina supported bimetallic Ni-Co catalysts were synthesized using sequential impregnation method. The synthesized catalysts were tested in dry reforming of methane at 750 oC. Before and/or after activity test, N2 adsorption/desorption, XRD, TPR, SEM/EDX, and TG/DT analyses were performed for the catalysts. TPR analysis showed that impregnation sequence of Ni and Co metals effects reducibility of the metal in the structure of the catalysts. It was shown that impregnation sequence of Ni-Co bimetallic catalysts significantly effects the reducibility of metals in the structure and accordingly the catalytic performance of these catalysts. It was found that cobalt was more reducible in the catalyst which was prepared by impregnation of Ni first followed by impregnation of Co. Co@Ni@SGA catalyst prepared this way showed more stable and high catalytic activity. Bimetallic NiCo catalysts showed high activity with a high resistance to coke formation, in dry reforming of methane. Amount of coke formation (3.6% by wt) over Co@Ni@SGA catalyst (which showed higher activity in dry reforming of methane) was higher than the amount of coke (2.1% by wt) over Ni@Co@SGA catalyst. H2/CO ratio in product stream was obtained as 0.78.
