Abstract

This paper presents the High-Performance computing efforts with FPGA for the accelerated pulsar/transient search for the SKA. Case studies are presented from within SKA and pathfinder telescopes highlighting future opportunities. It reviews the scenario that has shifted from offline processing of the radio telescope data to digitizing several hundreds/thousands of antenna outputs over huge bandwidths, forming several 100s of beams, and processing the data in the SKA real-time pulsar search pipelines. A brief account of the different architectures of the accelerators, primarily the new generation Field Programmable Gate Array-based accelerators, showing their critical roles to achieve high-performance computing and in handling the enormous data volume problems of the SKA is presented here. It also presents the power-performance efficiency of this emerging technology and presents potential future scenarios., Comment: Accepted for publication in the JoAA special issue on SKA (2023)

Abstract

This research is significant, as traffic jam has become the main challenge in current metropolitan cities. Both in developed and developing nations, it is a concern for an ambulance to carry an emergency patient. Despite the fact, ambulance receives special traffic protocols, it is still challenging that the ambulance reaches the hospital on time. In the context of a smart city, this proposal suggests a smart ambulance management system. If the patient needs an ambulance, the operator finds the nearest emergency vehicle and points it in the patient's direction. The programme dynamically tracks the positions of the ambulances to determine the quickest path to the injured person using maps provided by Google as an external service. Here we are tracking the ambulance with an IR transmitter and the road nearby speed breaker will have IR Receiver. Arduino Node MCU sends the alert message through the Internet of Things (IoT) and Global Positioning System (GPS). Then the necessary action can be taken after conforming to the location at a time. If an ambulance is on a nearby speed breaker, then it will turn automatically to the bottom and the even space will come up. It will give the chance for no need to reduce the speed of ambulance. During system analysis and experimentation, the system's efficiency, and dependability can be enhanced as well as a significant reduction in healthcare costs, a reduction in the number of intermediaries and timely and efficient service, and the avoidance of wasting time. This paper is to examine different IoT techniques for movement control and the different approaches to assist the emergency vehicle to reach nearby healing facility on time. The main focus is on finding the best techniques to reduce the traffic congestion.

Abstract

The widespread use of concrete in the world's buildings makes it one of the most popular construction materials. Construction foundations, roads, and sidewalks are just some of the many places you'll find these materials. One of the most pressing issues in environmental protection today is how to properly manage garbage, and in particular, plastic trash. Our experiment used plastic waste collected from a local plastic waste management centre; we did this to determine whether or not this material could be used in place of more traditional construction materials. Fine aggregates are replaced with recyclable plastics. Fine aggregates were replaced with Recyclable Plastics at varying percentages (0, 30%, 35%, 40%, and 45%). The M25 concrete standard was developed after extensive testing. By exchanging varying amounts of fine aggregates with Recyclable Plastics, we were able to design a wide variety of mixes Concrete mixes with 7, 14, and 28 days' worth of crushed waste were tested experimentally for their workability, strength in compression, split tensile, and flexural. It has been found that as the percentage of recyclable plastics in production rises, so does the materials' malleability. Adding up to 35% Recyclable Plastics increases the concrete's strength.
