This research deals with a multi-job Integer batch scheduling problem on a single machine with different due dates. Every job demanded one or more parts, and the single machine processed the job into a number of batches. The objective is to minimize total actual flow time, defined as the total flow time of all jobs starting from the arrival to the common due date. The decisions are to determine the sequence of jobs, the number of batches, batch size, and sequence of all batches on a single machine. This research proposes three algorithms, developed based on the longest due date rule (The P1-LDD Algorithm), the adjacent pairwise interchange method (The P2-API Algorithm), and the permutation method (The P3-PM Algorithm). The numerical experience shows that the three algorithms produce an outstanding solution. The P1-LDD Algorithm fits to solve a simple problem. The P2-API Algorithm has superior to solve a big complicated problem. The P3-PM Algorithm has the best performance to solve small complicated problems.

Career planning is an activity to help students determine future careers, such as high school, jobs and desired positions. The digital module is an alternative that can be used to convey career planning material to students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of digital modules in improving junior high school students' career planning. This research is an experimental study using a quasi-experimental design method. The career planning instruments was tested for validation using confirmatory factor analysis, resulting in 17 valid items and a reliability of 0.830. The subjects of this study were junior high school students from the seventh-grade level. The result shows that digital modules effectively improve junior high school students' career planning, with an n-gain score of 0.60. The digital module contributes as a novelty in guidance and counselling to deliver career guidance services, besides making it easier for students to learn independently.

This study aims to produce a school connectedness instrument for high school students in Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative and descriptive. The sample in this study was 526 high school students in Yogyakarta who had implemented online learning. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data collection of this research was carried out using a questionnaire technique. The data analysis in this study used quantitative analysis techniques using the Rasch model. The results showed that the instrument had good reliability with a coefficient value of 0.86 and various item separations with a value of 2.46. The analysis results show that the subject has a reliability of 0.99 in the excellent category and a person separation value of 11.03, which indicates that the subject's character varies significantly to detect the items developed. Overall, all items are declared fit and can be used to measure school connectedness in students.

This ex-post facto research aims to identify the negative influence of peace of mind on students' aggressive behavior. Aggressive behavior of students has become a problem that has not been alleviated to the maximum and is increasingly complex. One model of education that seeks to build students' peace of mind is the peace education model. The use of this educational model can suppress the urge of students to show aggressive behavior. The research data was collected using the peace of mind scale (PoMS) and aggressive behavior scale (ABS). The research sample was taken using cluster random technique with a total of 1263 students coming from western part of Indonesia (East Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and Lampung), the central part of Indonesia (West Nusa Tenggara and Central Sulawesi), and the eastern part of Indonesia (North Maluku). Data in this study were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the analysis of the study concluded that negative peace of mind has an effect of 62.9% on aggressive behavior committed by students. This study is recommended for future researchers to develop peaceful thinking training programs to reduce students' aggressive behavior.

Dolalak Dance is a dance themed around the joy of Dutch soldiers. Dolalak Dance serves as a sign that displays specific meanings perceived by the community as a sign that interprets symbolic meanings. The Dolalak Budi Santoso group also offers symbolic meanings in their performance. The purpose of this research is to understand the semiotics of the Dolalak Dance performance in Kaliharjo Village, Purworejo Regency. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, semiotic approach, and etic-emic approach. The main focus of this research is to explore the symbolic meanings of a performance through a semiotic approach. With a semiotic approach, the Dolalak performance is placed as a sign and understood as a signifier by the community. Data validity is ensured through triangulation technique. Data analysis involves description and interpretation techniques. The results of this research show that the semiotics of Dolalak Dance can be seen through symbolic meanings in the form of presentational symbols and discursive symbols within the elements of the performance. Dolalak Dance presents presentational symbols through visual and auditory elements depicting the joy and agility of Dutch soldiers. The discursive symbols of Dolalak Dance are revealed through non-iconic elements of the performance, representing values of goodness and life. In conclusion, the semiotics of Dolalak Dance manifest in the symbolic meanings that arise from the perception of individuals or the community towards the form of the Dolalak Dance performance

This study aims to produce responsibility character module to improve student self-regulated learning. The research method uses research and development. The research subjects involved in the need assessment were 248 students of Guidance and Counseling, School of Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta which was obtained by random sampling technique. Data collection using the scale of self-regulated learning. The scale of self-regulated learning is adapted from Zimmerman's theory which consists of three aspects: cognitive, motivation and behavioral aspects. Data were analyzed using mean test. The result of the need assessment is used as a reference to develop the responsibility character module to improve student self-regulated learning. This study successfully created a module of responsibility character to improve university students' self-regulated learning which is consisted of 12 materials that had been validated and revised; therefore it is eligible to be implemented in the self-regulated learning context.

This study utilises a correlational research methodology to investigate the association between psychological and spiritual well-being (PWB) among university students. The objective is to determine the magnitude and orientation of the correlation between these two concepts among the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) student body. The data obtained from 193 students from UNY were analysed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The Pearson correlation coefficient between PWB and SWB was determined to be r = 0.724 (p 0.001), demonstrating a robust and positive link between the two aspects of well-being among the university students, with potential implications for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study emphasises the interdependence of the psychological and spiritual aspects of Well-Being among UNY students.

Research on growth mindset has become a trend lately. Growth mindset has a strong impact on a person's success in the areas of achievement and interpersonal relationships. This research aims to determine the relationship between spiritual character strength and growth mindset in Islamic boarding school students. Islamic boarding schools are Islamic-based educational institutions and social institutions that implement a boarding school system and have a series of activities that emphasize group worship activities and religious recitations which are carried out regularly, thereby triggering the use of massive spiritual character strengths. The research method used is a descriptive statistical method using the Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between two interval variables. This research involved 127 students from one of the Islamic boarding schools in East Java, Indonesia. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test, it shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the strength of spiritual character and the growth mindset of students with a correlation of 0.247 at a significance level of 0.01. So H0 was rejected and the conclusion was obtained that the higher the strength of spiritual character, the higher the growth mindset of Islamic boarding school students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
