The fiscal sphere can be considered the quintessence of state participation in the economy. Fiscal regulation, respectively fiscal harmonization and control over national budgets, are considered as advanced coordination within the normative management. The impact of EU supranational fiscal regulation on the economies of member countries can be accomplished through budgetary consolidation. This article is dedicated to the analysis of the fiscal consolidation effects and the measures and instruments of fiscal regulation of the EU, which can theoretically be applied to the EU member countries, as well as the effectiveness of the supranational impact and national measures for the implementation and achievement of supranational solutions.

The results of previous studies conducted at the European level highlight the low level of Eastern European countries, which are predominantly in the second half of the Digital Competitiveness (DC) ranking, and the situation is similar for Sustainable Competitiveness (SC). On these premises, the purpose of this research was set to analyze the influence of the four dimensions of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) of Eastern European countries from 2014-2022 on the SC index selected on the basis of the same criteria. The achievement of this aim is supported by setting the following objectives: objective 1: identification of the interdependence relationship between the digital economy and the sustainable economy; objective 2: bibliometric analysis of the literature indexed on the Web of Science platform of the most relevant studies dealing with the four dimensions of the DESI: "connectivity", "human capital", "digital technology integration" and "digital public services"; objective 3: determination of the influence of the DESI dimensions on CS through econometric analysis. The results of the research are materialised in the confirmation of the link between digitisation and sustainability based on bibliometric and econometric analysis. The usefulness of the results lies in the fact that this study represents a contribution to the literature in terms of investigating the relationship between DESI dimensions and CS index in Eastern European countries.

The development of the Romanian education system must be carried out according to the needs of the consumers of educational services through the development of modern policies and reforms, through partnership between stakeholders, through the use of quality management models in order to review management efficiency. The models, methods and tools that educational institutions use create the space for lifelong learning and the opportunity for flexible education. The focus on the development of sustainable quality management systems for educational institutions shows that there is a growing awareness for quality management in educational institutions, as they want to increase the competitiveness of institutions in the European market. It is necessary to create a culture of quality, which is an essential condition for the implementation of TQM principles in an educational institution.

Globally, change is happening fast, especially in the current conditions of crisis (pandemic, war, economic recession), therefore citizens need to be informed, ready to change jobs, therefore continuous training helps them to overcome obstacles, to be active citizens. These changes determined the managers 'orientation towards the identification of the beneficiaries' needs, the unsatisfied requirements, but also towards the creation of other needs, in the idea of developing a long-term partnership. Initially, the method was called WebQual, later the name was changed to eQUAL. Under this name it has been experimented with for public services provided by electronic means.

The economic growth, as well as the new workplaces development, are supported by three important pillars – EDUCATION, RESEARCH and INOVATION – and three is greatly emphasized the support of innovative units, thus creating a systemic model. Learning and entrepreneurship training represent the basis for innovation and are influenced by a large number of causes, therefore the education system applies the Management of the Total Quality in order to create values, but this should be backed-up by innovative and advanced strategies.

The paper addresses risk management in Romanian pre-university educational system. The first part presents theoretical information on the concept of risk, risk management and the process of identification, assessment and control of risks. The application part analyzes the risks that may occur in Romanian schools, respectively an analysis on the probability of risk occurrence, their impact and level, alongside the countermeasures established and implemented by schools in Romania.

Deming emphasizes that professional training is not only performed by organizing training sessions for staff or users. Professional training should be organized so that the employee learns how to optimally carry out an activity within the culture of the organization to which he belongs. When considering adult education, communication and participation are of paramount importance. Making and implementing the right managerial decisions are inconceivable without perfect communication between the manager and the rest of the members of the organization, and between the internal and the external environment. The promotion activity includes a wide variety of types and modes of manifestation, in terms of content, role and form of achievement. By implementing the continuous training system within the framework of the training / education / public organizations, it is possible to develop a human resource training plan with the use of minimal (time and personnel) resources, carry out an evaluation of the economic, financial and social results of the training programs, and to have permanent control of the established budget, so that it can be a valuable tool for the management of the Romanian organizations.

The education system represents an important element in any society, especially in the European Union, because it contributes to the well-being of a type of resource which is essential for development, namely the human resource. The management style represents the way in which the upper, middle and lower level management personnel act in relation to their subordinates. In this analysis we monitored the management style within the European education system, identifying three types of management styles, respectively; participatory (Germany and Sweden), authoritative (Spain, Romania and Greece), and participatory-authoritative (Great Britain, France, Italy). Thus, through this paper, we want to analyze the management styles characteristic of the education system within seven EU countries and to identify the influence which the economic, social and cultural factors have on it.

The article provides a statistical survey of the hotel industry. The positive and negative sides of the operating trend of these enterprises are highlighted using the forecast of the development of hotels and accommodation facilities in Ukraine. The dynamic analysis of the development of the hotel business enterprises is given, presents trends according to the results of the analysis. Based on the experience of the local experience, we can say that the hotel industry is part of the tourist activity, namely the extremely profitable industry of the economy, which is developing rapidly and has considerable potential for further development. This is the reason why the delay in hotel services in Ukraine requires an analysis, identification and consideration of market problems and how to solve them.

Imports and exports have a major influence on Gross Domestic Product. In this study it was made a non-linear regression model based on the Cobb-Douglas function. Production function is used in many economic researches. This function captures well the relationship between GDP as a dependent variable and imports and exports of wood product as independent variables. Imports and exports of wood products analyzed in this paper are the sum of the following types of wood products: wood fuel, industrial coniferous round wood, industrial hardwood, charcoal, wood waste, coniferous timber and hardwood timber, veneer sheets, plywood, chipboard, OSB, paper. The statistical calculation was made using the R language in the RStudio program. The interval analyzed is between 1999 and 2016. During this range, the period of 2008-2009, a period of economic crisis, with a negative impact on imports of wood, was highlighted. The function has the sum of indicators higher than 1, so it can be concluded that imports and exports of wood mass accelerate Romania's GDP growth. Taking into account the Cobb-Douglas function obtained, it can be concluded that with a 1% increase in imports of wood products, GDP will increase by 0.747%, and with a 1% increase in exports of wood products, the value of GDP will increase by 0.4743%. The developed model highlights the importance of the forestry sector and its link with a macroeconomic indicator that highlights the state of the economy.
