The article deals with the problem of evacuation of people in case of emergency situations. Modeling of the process of evacuation of people from premises is quite new and one of the most promising tools for planning the organization of pedestrian flows in emergency situations, for predicting problems arising during the evacuation of people, and ultimately for saving human lives. The experimental model was developed using the AnyLogic simulation tool. An office space was chosen as the object of research, where the evacuation mode was simulated and the experiment was conducted. The average evacuation time of each person and the total exit time, as well as the intensity of the human flow at the entrance and exit of the building are calculated. A hypothesis about the influence of time of day on the duration of evacuation was put forward and proved. It is concluded that the built model provides the necessary information for predicting the fire situation in office premises and, as a result, the possibility of their elimination, as well as in agricultural planning and Economics.

The article focuses on the methodology for assessing the development of professional qualities of future specialists majoring in Technosphere Safety. Due to the globalization of production, the Russian education system is being integrated into the world educational network. At that, the range of qualifications required from a specialist of any field is expanding. These processes are changing the paradigm of professional education. The goal of professional training is not merely the total sum of necessary knowledge, but – above all – the development of professional qualities. The existing grading system needs to be introduced with an integrated set of grading methods that should take into account the achievement in natural science subjects, the intellectual development, the expert assessment, and professional communication skills. Educational monitoring of developing professional qualities must be carried out at every stage of teaching. In that way, a graduate, a soon-to-be specialist in the field of Technosphere Safety will not be a mere operator, but a holder of advanced engineering knowledge.

The left-ventricular ejection fraction, reflecting the contractile capacity of the myocardium according to the clinical data, is the most objective criterion in indication for the operation for aortocoronary shunting. The indices of central hemodynamics appearing in response to the exercise test during intracardiac catheterization of the right heart and monitor-computer control with mathematical analysis were used in objective appraisal of the left-ventricular ejection fraction in selecting for surgical treatment patients suffering from ischemic heart disease with normal and reduced ejection fraction of the left ventricle. Two gradations of patients with ischemic heart disease were set apart during the hemodynamic exercise test: the first--patients with a high and effective chronotropic reserve--subgroup I("+X") and the second--patients with a poor and ineffective chronotropic reserve--subgroup II("--X"). It was found that in a single-valued left-ventricular ejection fraction (normal or low) in patients with ischemic heart disease there may be the presence or absence of latent cardiac insufficiency according to the results of the hemodynamic exercise test which must be determined in indications for surgical treatment.

Risk factors, survival rate, and quality of life of non-operated and operated patients with complicated IHD (over 50% diameter narrowing of the LCA trunk, occlusion of 3-4 coronary arteries, left ventricular aneurysm and rhythm disturbances) have been studied. The disease course and prognosis are influenced by a number of risk factors. For the non-operated patients, these are the magnitude of narrowing and the number of occluded coronary arteries, the occlusion level, involvement of great coronary arteries, the dimensions of the cicatrical zone, reduced myocardial contractility, left ventricular end diastolic pressure of more than 20 mm Hg, patient's age, and rhythm disturbances revealed on standard resting ECG. The postoperative survival rate and quality of life are significantly improved as compared to the conservatively treated group. The major risk factor is incomplete postoperative myocardial revascularisation, and combined high-grade extrasystole with supraventricular arrhythmias.
