Nanofluids have many applications in industries as well as engineering such as biomedicine, manufacturing, and electronics. Nanofluid is used for improvement of thermal and mass transmission. Based on the aforementioned applications, in the present study, a two-dimensional Maxwell nanofluid with thermal radiation effect on the existence of motile microorganisms over a vertically stretchable surface is explored. The consequence of heat absorption, the efficiency of heat flux in a porous medium, viscous dissipations, and Joule heating impacts are considered. The Brownian and thermophoretic diffusion effects have been evaluated. In addition, the binary chemical reaction is taken into account to evaluate the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) mixed convection flow. Graphene nanoparticles are suspended in so-called engine oil (base fluid). The proposed liquid model depends on the governing nonlinear equations of velocity, temperature, the concentration of nanoparticles, and motile gyrotactic microorganisms. In order to transform highly nonlinear partial differential equations into nonlinear ordinary differential equations, an appropriate similarity transformation is exploited. For the solution of the present study, the homotopy analysis method-technique in Mathematica-12 is used. The fluctuation of velocity, temperature, concentration, and gyrotactic microorganisms’ characteristics for numerous flow parameters is discussed in detail. Some important fallouts of the existing study are that the Maxwell liquid parameter, Eckert number, and magnetic parameter lessen the nanoliquid velocity. But the fluid temperature becomes higher for growing estimates of the Brownian motion and thermophoretic factors. The radiation and chemical reaction parameters have declining impacts on the solutal profile. The motile microorganism profile shows a decrement in bioconvection Lewis and Rayleigh numbers. The nanofluid thermal profile is improved but the nanofluid velocity declined through the augmentation of volume fraction. Also, the coefficient of skin friction and Nusselt number are obtained versus various flow parameters.

Objectives: To evaluate the role of artificial intelligence (Google Bard) in figures, scans, and image identifications and interpretations in medical education and healthcare sciences through an Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) type of performance. Methods: The OSPE type of question bank was created with a pool of medical sciences figures, scans, and images. For assessment, 60 figures, scans and images were selected and entered into the given area of the Google Bard to evaluate the knowledge level. Results: The marks obtained by Google Bard in brain structures, morphological and radiological images 7/10 (70%); bone structures, radiological images 9/10 (90%); liver structure and morphological, pathological images 4/10 (40%); kidneys structure and morphological images 2/7 (28.57%); neuro-radiological images 4/7 (57.14%); and endocrine glands including the thyroid, pancreas, breast morphological and radiological images 8/16 (50%). The overall total marks obtained by Google Bard in various OSPE figures, scans, and image identification questions were 34/60 (56.7%). Conclusion: Google Bard scored satisfactorily in morphological, histopathological, and radiological image identifications and their interpretations. Objective: To determine the frequency of leukocytosis in patients of culture proven enteric fever in children over one year period. Study Design: Retrospective Cross-sectional study. Setting: Department of Paediatrics, at Fatima Memorial Hospital, Shadman Lahore. Period: January 2020 to December 2020. Material & Methods: The case record of patients diagnosed with enteric fever on blood culture were reviewed. All patients in the age group of one year to 15 years with a discharge diagnosis of enteric fever for admitted inpatient or from Outpatient Department (OPD) were included in the study. Results: Median age was 61.3 (IQR 38) months and slight female preponderance 61 out of 110 patients (55.5%) was observed. Median duration of fever before presentation was eight days with IQR of 7.3 days and 95 patients has shown anorexia (86.4%), which was the most common symptom after fever. S. Typhi was found in 76.4% (84 patients out of 110) of positive blood cultures and 23.6% of positive culture (26 cases) found S. Paratyphi A,B,C. Only 8 cases (5 %) of enteric fever were multisensitive with 93% of isolates (102 cases) were either multidrug resistant (45 cases (41%) or 57 cases Extended drug resistant (52%).18 out of 110 patients (16%) has shown leukocytosis and leukocyte count was normal in 73% patients (80 out of 110). Among leukocytosis group strikingly, 89% of patients (16 out of 18) had shown extended drug resistant pattern (XDR). Conclusion: Leukocytosis in Typhoid fever is not uncommon and culture proven Typhoid Fever can be associated with leukocytosis in children. Once there is leukocytosis in culture proven Typhoid fever, there is a high incidence of XDR typhoid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A solid redox mediator (solid electrolyte) with an electrical conductivity ( σ 25°C ) greater than 10 -4 S cm -1 is an essential requirement for a dye-sensitized solar cell in the harsh weather of Gulf countries. This paper reports the electrical properties of solid redox mediators prepared using highly dissociable ionic salts: Co[tris-(2,2'-bipyridine)] 3 (TFSI) 2 , Co[tris-(2,2'-bipyridine)] 3 (TFSI) 3 , and LiCF 3 SO 3 as a source of Co 2+ , Co 3+ , and Li + ions, respectively, in a solid matrix: [(1 - x )succinonitrile: x poly(ethylene oxide)], where x = 0, 0.5, and 1 in weight fraction. In the presence of large size of cations (Co 2+ and Co 3+ ) and large-sized and weakly-coordinated anions (TFSI - and CF 3 SO 3 - ), only the succinonitrile-poly(ethylene oxide) blend ( x = 0.5) resulted in highly conductive amorphous regions with σ 25°C of 4.7 × 10 -4 S cm -1 for EO/Li + = 108.4 and 3.1 × 10 -4 S cm -1 for EO/Li + = 216.8. These values are slightly lower than 1.5 × 10 -3 S cm -1 for x = 0 and higher than 6.3 × 10 -7 S cm -1 for x = 1. Only blend-based electrolytes exhibited a downward curve in the log  σ - T -1 plot, a low value of pseudo-activation energy (0.06 eV), a high degree of transparency, and high thermal stability, making it useful for device applications., Competing Interests: There are no conflicts to declare., (This journal is © The Royal Society of Chemistry.)
