Copper-containing mixed metal oxides are one of the most promising catalysts of selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia. These materials are characterized by high catalytic efficiency, however, process selectivity to dinitrogen is still an open challenge. The set of Cu-Zn-Al-O and Ce/Cu-Zn-Al-O mixed metal oxides were tested as catalysts of selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia. At the low-temperature range, from 250 °C up to 350 °C, materials show high catalytic activity and relatively high selectivity to dinitrogen. Samples with the highest Cu loading 12 and 15 mol.% of total cation content were found to be the most active materials. Additional sample modification by wet impregnation of cerium (8 wt.%) improves catalytic efficiency, especially N2 selectivity. The comparison of catalytic tests with results of physicochemical characterization allows connecting the catalysts efficiency with the form and distribution of CuO on the samples’ surface. The bulk-like well-developed phases were associated with sample activity, while the dispersed CuO phases with dinitrogen selectivity. Material characterization included phase composition analysis (X-ray powder diffraction, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy), determination of textural properties (low-temperature N2 sorption, scanning electron microscopy) and sample reducibility analysis (H2 temperature-programmed reduction).

In the present paper, recent progress in direct catalytic decomposition of NO is reviewed. In last twenty years many catalysts have been tested (metals, zeolites, different types of oxides). Some of them have been reported as effective for the NO direct decomposition; however, no catalyst exhibits satisfactory activity in the presence of co-existing gases (O-2, CO2, SO2). The catalyst basicity and ability to desorb N-2 and O-2 from its surface plays an important role in the NO direct decomposition. The active sites for the NO decomposition differ depending on the catalyst type and the reaction mechanism. In many cases these mechanisms are still not fully understood. The problematics of medieval baths in Prague is very comprehensive, for understanding we have to begin in ancient history spa, the evolution of barber guild and complete hierarchy of this handicraft. In all history are barbers standing on the edge of society, and they tried to change it. Very important role of barbers was they role as healers. Most informations about baths and spa are from illustrations, which shows us also the equipment of public spa. Part of this equipment is also in archeological sources. The present thesis maps the distribution of bone and antler industry luxury items from early middle ages in our area. The work includes catalogue and description of these items. The subsequent chapters focus on the technology of manufacture and embellishment, followed by possibilities of social interpretation based on uncovered items and some specific issues such as the existence of manufactories in Czech area, an outline of Polish analogies and unusual embellishment with figural motives.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the image of an aristocrat in the chronicles of the 14th century as well as its dependence on the conrete author of the particular chronicle. It observes how the goal of the chronicler and the recipient himself influence the perspective on the aristocrat and the appraisal of his person.

The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the communication activities of STUDENT AGENCY, s.r.o., describe the company's strengths and weaknesses, introduce the firm and evaluate the communication mix, with which the company promotes its products and services. The SWOT and descriptive analysis as well as a survey were used in order to evaluate the firm's ability to communicate with the market. The descriptions of the firm's identity, marketing communication, communication mix, product, product portfolio, and transportation are amongst the most important theoretical concepts. I have engaged in the analysis of the firm's identity, image within the Czech market, corporate design. I have also addressed the company's compliance with its core philosophy. STUDENT AGENCY was founded in 1996 as a firm that provided au-pair services. As time progressed, the company introduced student and professional residencies abroad and continued to add new products at a significant pace. As a result, I have structured this work to analyze the firm's communication activities in relation to the product portfolio's expansion into the fields of national and international bus and railway transportation. Consequently, I have provided a number of suggested improvements to the market communication of STUDENT AGENCY.

The topic of my bachelor thesis brings about the issue of promotion of foreign trade in Germany. At the beginning I do describe the national institution which create the framework of the promotion of foreign trade. Later on I mention a few of the economic institutions which are involved as well. A very big part of my thesis is focused on the tools of promotion presented by credits and the ways of insuring the foreign business. At the end I recommend the two websites which are worth visiting by enterpreneurs active in foreign markets.
