The objective of this study is to determine the factors of customer experience that influence customer loyalty. Besides, the mediating role of customer satisfaction will also be considered. Data was collected from a survey of 696 passengers who live in Ho Chi Minh City and used flight service with low-cost airlines in Vietnam. The research results from the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) showed that six factors of customer experience have positively impacted customer loyalty in descending order as follows: Flight attendant quality, Check-in/luggage service, Online Booking Service, Convenient Flight Schedule, Lounge, and Service Reliability. In addition, these relationships have been mediated totally by customer satisfaction. The study also suggested some implications for building a better service experience at low-cost airlines in Ho Chi Minh City to increase customer loyalty.

Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là khám phá mối quan hệ giữa trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp và lòng trung thành của khách hàng thông qua niềm tin thương hiệu và sự yêu thích thương hiệu. Mô hình nghiên cứu đã được đề xuất dựa vào lý thuyết bộ ba cốt lõi bền vững và lý thuyết trao đổi xã hội. Dữ liệu được thu thập từ 305 khách hàng trên 18 tuổi đã từng sử dụng dịch vụ của hãng hàng không giá rẻ (Vietjet Air và Pacific Airlines) và đang sống tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Mô hình hóa phương trình cấu trúc bình phương nhỏ nhất từng phần đã được sử dụng để phân tích dữ liệu. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp giúp gia tăng lòng trung thành của khách hàng. Thêm vào đó, mối quan hệ tích cực này đã được trung gian bán phần bởi niềm tin thương hiệu và sự yêu thích thương hiệu. Cuối cùng, nghiên cứu đề xuất một số hàm ý quản trị cho các nhà quản lý tại các hãng hàng không giá rẻ thực hiện hoạt động trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp để cải thiện lòng trung thành của khách hàng.

Bên cạnh đó, vai trò điều tiết của mối quan tâm về COVID-19 cũng đã được xem xét. Nghiên cứu này đã thu thập dữ liệu bằng cách gửi một bảng câu hỏi trực tuyến đến 325 người lao động ở Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (TP. HCM), những người được hỏi đã có trải nghiệm về làm việc tại nhà. Kết quả từ mô hình hóa phương trình cấu trúc bình phương nhỏ nhất từng phần (PLS-SEM) bằng cách sử dụng chương trình SmartPLS 3.0, nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng làm việc tại nhà trong giai đoạn đại dịch COVID-19 đã tác động tích cực đến hiệu quả làm việc của nhân viên. Mối quan hệ tích cực này đã được phân tích thông qua tác động trung gian từ một phần cân bằng trong công việc và gia đình, và sự hài lòng trong công việc. Hơn nữa, kết quả phân tích cho thấy khi người lao động càng tập trung đến những hệ quả do đại dịch gây ra thì mối quan hệ tích cực giữa làm việc tại nhà và sự hài lòng trong công việc càng trở nên mạnh mẽ. Cuối cùng, nghiên cứu khuyến nghị các chính sách nhằm điều chỉnh và thúc đẩy chương trình làm việc tại nhà để gia tăng hiệu quả công việc của nhân viên trong bối cảnh đại dịch COVID-19.

Nghiên cứu này nhằm để xem xét tác động của nhận thức về trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp (CSRP) đối với hiệu quả công việc thông qua vai trò trung gian của thái độ công việc (sự gắn kết của nhân viên và sự hài lòng trong công việc) và vai trò điều tiết của Thu nhập. Dữ liệu khảo sát được thu thập từ 220 nhân viên đang làm việc tại các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ tại Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh. Kết quả từ mô hình phương trình cấu trúc bình phương nhỏ nhất từng phần (PLS-SEM) bằng cách sử dụng chương trình SmartPLS 3.0 chỉ ra rằng nhận thức CSR của nhân viên có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến hiệu quả công việc. Bên cạnh đó, sự gắn kết của nhân viên và sự hài lòng trong công việc đã làm trung gian một phần cho mối quan hệ này. Hơn nữa, phân tích ảnh hưởng điều tiết cũng chỉ ra rằng mối quan hệ tích cực giữa CSRP và thái độ công việc có thể tăng lên đáng kể ở nhân viên có thu nhập cao hơn ở nhân viên có thu nhập thấp. Phát hiện này cũng ngụ ý rằng các nhà quản trị nên xây dựng CSR thích hợp để cải thiện thái độ công việc và hành vi tích cực của nhân viên.

Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là khám phá ra những yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử thông qua vai trò trung gian của thái độ đối với sử dụng sản phẩm. Dữ liệu được thu thập là 201 đáp viên có hiểu biết về ví điện tử Momo, ZaloPay, AirPay, ViettelPay tại thành phố Cần Thơ, đã được phân tích để cung cấp bằng chứng. Kết quả từ mô hình phương trình cấu trúc bình phương nhỏ nhất một phần (PLS-SEM) chỉ ra rằng nhận thức uy tín, điều kiện thuận lợi, hiệu quả kỳ vọng và ảnh hưởng xã hội có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử. Bên cạnh đó, nghiên cứu này đã đề xuất cách tiếp cận mới để dự đoán biến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử thông qua vai trò trung gian của thái độ của khách hàng để dự đoán ý định sử dụng ví điện tử của người tiêu dùng. Cụ thể, biến hiệu quả mong đợi và ảnh hưởng xã hội chỉ tác động gián tiếp đến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử; nhận thức uy tín đã tác động trực tiếp và gián tiếp đến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử, và điều kiện thuận lợi chỉ tác động trực tiếp đến ý định sử dụng ví điện tử. Cuối cùng, nghiên cứu cũng đã đề xuất một số hàm ý quản trị để nâng cao ý định sử dụng ví điện tử của người dân tại thành phố Cần Thơ.

Nghiên cứu nhằm so sánh kết quả nghiên cứu năm 2020 với kết quả của chính nghiên cứu tương tự được thực hiện 10 năm trước, trong đó có so sánh kỳ vọng và nhận thức của khách hàng về dịch vụ tiền gửi tiết kiệm cá nhân tại Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn Việt Nam (Agribank), bằng cách sử dụng công cụ nghiên cứu SERVQUAL, dưới dạng so sánh các chỉ tiêu và một phần so sánh các biến số. Qua khảo sát 280 khách hàng đang giao dịch tại các chi nhánh và phòng giao dịch Agribank về kỳ vọng và nhận thức dịch vụ trong quý 4 năm 2019, sử dụng kết quả Cronbach’s Alpha và EFA của nghiên cứu trước, việc phân tích cho thấy chất lượng dịch vụ được đo lường qua mô hình hiệu chỉnh gồm 4 chỉ tiêu: độ tin cậy, chất lượng tương tác, môi trường dịch vụ và giá cả. Kết quả so sánh có cho thấy những chỉ tiêu đã thay đổi ít nhiều trong vòng 10 năm qua, theo hướng tích cực hơn. Đồng thời, nghiên cứu này cũng đề xuất cho Ban quản lý Agribank một số việc nên làm nhằm ngày càng giảm khoảng cách kỳ vọng – nhận thức của khách hàng, cũng như cập nhật liên tục những ứng dụng mới trong nền kinh tế mở, hội nhập.

In the 21st century, the working environment is changing rapidly, and competition is fierce. In industries such as airlines, it is crucial to identify the factors that drive employee performance. This study aims to determine the elements of organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) that have an impact on work performance. A mixed research method was employed for the study, which collected survey data from 195 employees of ground service companies in Vietnam, including Saigon Ground Service Company (Sags), Vietnam Airport Ground Service Company (Viags), and Hanoi Ground Service Joint Stock Company (Hgs). The results revealed that five factors of OCBs affect job performance, ranked in descending order: (1) Voice-speaking up about concerns, (2) civic virtue, (3) conscientiousness, (4) courtesy, and (5) altruism. The study also proposed some implications for managers of ground service companies to enhance their employees’ job performance.

AbstractThe goal of this research is to examine the influence of transformational leadership (TL) on employees’ job-related outcomes, noting the mediating roles of public service motivation (PSM) as well as the moderating effect of power distance orientation (PDO). Surveys were collected from 605 civil servants currently working in local governments in Vietnam and the researcher used the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique with SmartPLS 3.0 software to test hypotheses. The findings showed that there was a positive influence of transformational leadership on employees’ work outcomes; this relationship was mediated partially through public service motivation. Also, the finding revealed the moderating effects of power distance orientation on the effect of perceived transformational leadership on public service motivation, job satisfaction, and job performance. Civil servants with high power distance orientation tended to dampen the positive relationship between transformational leadership and public service motivation which led to decreased job satisfaction and job performance. Based on the findings, it is recommended that managers or leaders in Vietnamese local governments should apply transformational leadership in practice to improve the level of employee work outcomes. Finally, this study broadens new knowledge to the existing literature on transformational leadership and job-related outcomes by proposing an alternative model of how this relationship exists. Besides, the findings showed that although transformational leaders can lead to good behavioral outcomes, high power distance orientation could mitigate this benefit.

The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between perceived human resource management practices and service-oriented organizational citizenship behaviors through the mediating role of employee engagement. Besides, the moderating effect of positive psychological capital on the relationships will also be examined. The target population included 457 frontline employees who work at least one year at commercial banks in Vietnam. The inferential analysis to test the hypotheses was completed using SmartPLS 3.0 software for structural equation modeling with partial least squares (PLS-SEM). The result of this study indicated that a positive correlation between perceived HRM practices and service-oriented OCBs; employee engagement played a partial mediating role in this correlation. In addition, positive psychological capital heightened the positive relationship between perceived HRM practices and service-oriented OCBs of frontline employees. This research provided bank managers with an enhanced understanding of what the fundamental behaviors of their frontline employees are and how to develop and cultivate these employee contributions. It lets managers know how much the frontline employees take care of HRM practices at the workplace. From the point of view of the employees, managers may have the strategies to avoid the potential risk related to human resource management.

Young generations, especially students, are increasingly turning their attention to e-purchasing apps. However, little has been investigated regarding students’ tendencies during market turbulence or a pandemic situation such as COVID-19. To address this knowledge gap, this study develops a model from the perspective of e-purchase intention for university students during the COVID-19 pandemic based on one of the most famous social network sites (SNSs), WeChat, in China. The model is tested using survey data from 608 students studying in China. The results indicate that WeChat, as a popular and commonly used social media, affects users in their e-purchase intention during the COVID-19 pandemic in China through information shared by various users. Further, the effect of trust moderates the relationship between market turbulence and e-purchase intention among university students in China. Despite some limitations, such as survey data collected from students only in a single country, the study contributes to theory and practice by shedding light on SNS-based e-purchase intention among students in China during market turbulence. Theoretical contributions and managerial implications gleaned from this study and its empirical results are discussed.

The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and job performance through the mediating role of job attitudes. In addition, the moderating role of organizational reputation is also considered. Based on stakeholder theories, signaling theory, social exchange theory, and social identity theory, a research model has been developed. Data has been collected from 636 employees working in SMEs in Vietnam to provide empirical evidence. Research results showed that corporate social responsibility has made a positive contribution to improving job performance and this relationship was partially mediated by job attitudes. In addition, organizational reputation strengthened the positive connection between CSR and job attitudes. Finally, the study suggested some managerial implications to help leaders have appropriate policies to improve employees’ job performance.

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of human resource management (HRM) practices on employee engagement, and the moderating roles of gender and marital status. The survey was conducted with a total of 457 frontline employees who are working in the Vi-etnamese banking industry. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was estimated using the SmartPLS 3.0 program to examine the hypotheses. The results indicated that HRM practices and its four key dimensions (Training; Reward and recognition, Employee engagement, and Information sharing) positively impacted employee engagement. Moreover, this study provided an empirical evidence about the moderating roles of gender and marital status. It implied that male frontlines employees heightened the positive relationship between HRM practices and employee engagement, but this positive relationship was weakened by married employees. The finding also suggested that bank managers should develop a suitable HRM practices to reinforce employee engagement.

The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of social support on job-related behaviors, noting the mediating roles of job stress. Specifically, the study tests the prediction regarding the extent to which these different types of locus of control moderate the relationship between social support and job stress as well. The current study used self-report questionnaires from a sample of employees in the Vietnamese banking industry to test the hypothesis. Results from the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) using the SmartPLS 3.0 program showed that social support positively impacted job-related behaviors (e.g., job satisfaction, job performance); these relationships were mediated partially through job stress. Besides, this research revealed that individuals with a higher internal locus of control were more likely to have lower levels of job stress and it also moderated the relationship between social support and job stress. This negative association was weaker for bankers who have a higher external locus of control. The main findings of this research demonstrated that social support and locus of control play an important role in the overall effectiveness of employees. It implied that it is crucial for organizations to set up a good work atmosphere that supports psychological well-being and have suitable policies to strengthen social support among supervisors and employees in an organization to reduce job stress and improve job-related behaviors.
