1. Effect of the underlayer on the elastic parameters of the CoFeB/MgO heterostructures

Abstract

Abstract We investigated the thermally induced surface acoustic waves in CoFeB/MgO heterostructures with different underlayer materials. Our results show a direct correlation between the density and elastic parameters of the underlayer materials and the surface phonon dispersion. Using finite element method-based simulations, we calculate the effective elastic parameters (such as elastic tensor, Young’s modulus, and Poisson’s ratio) for multilayers with different underlayer materials. The simulation results, either considering the elastic parameters of individual layers or considering the effective elastic parameters of whole stacks, exhibit good agreement with the experimental data. This study will help us deepen our understanding of phonon properties and their interactions with other quasiparticles or magnetic textures with the help of these estimated elastic properties.

Abstract

Abstract The surface acoustic waves, i.e., surface phonons may have huge potential for future spintronic devices, if coupled to other waves (e.g., spin waves) or quasiparticles. In order to understand the coupling of acoustic phonons with the spin degree of freedom, especially in magnetic thin film-based heterostructures, one needs to investigate the properties of phonons in those heterostructures. This also allows us to determine the elastic properties of individual magnetic layers and the effective elastic parameters of the whole stacks. Here, we study frequency versus wavevector dispersion of thermally excited SAWs in CoFeB/MgO heterostructures with varying CoFeB thickness by employing Brillouin light spectroscopy. The experimental results are corroborated by finite element method-based simulations. From the best agreement of simulation results with the experiments, we find out the elastic tensor parameters for CoFeB layer. Additionally, we estimate the effective elastic parameters (elastic tensors, Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio) of the whole stacks for varying CoFeB thickness. Interestingly, the simulation results, either considering elastic parameters of individual layers or considering effective elastic parameters of whole stacks, show good agreement with the experimental results. These extracted elastic parameters will be very useful to understand the interaction of phonons with other quasiparticles.

3. EVALUATION OF A POINT OF CARE TEST FOR HISTOPLASMOSIS: EXPERIENCE FROM A TERTIARY CARE CENTRE IN INDIA

Abstract

Intro: Histoplasmosis is a highly endemic fungal disease often underdiagnosed and is most commonly seen in the immunocompromised population. It is caused by a dimorphic fungus, Histoplasma capsulatum initially involving pulmonary and disseminating to renal, cutaneous, CNS, mediastinal and Gastrointestinal systems. The gold standard for diagnosis remains culture requiring a minimum of a month for identification of the organism which is time-consuming. Our study aimed to evaluate the rapid testing kit of urinary Histoplasma antigen detection by OIDx, giving results in 5 to 20 mins by correlating with clinical improvement as the gold standard after targeted antifungal therapy. Methods: This study involved 165 patients visiting our out-patient clinics and also in-patients from October 2021 to July 2022 in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India presenting with signs and symptoms mimicking histoplasmosis like PUO, pancytopenia, etc., The first void early morning urine samples were tested for the detection of Histoplasma galactomannan antigen by an immunochromatographic assay. The test is interpreted as positive by the presence of pink/purple lines at the test and control lines. Findings: A clear positive result was shown in 32, faint positive in 16, and negative in 117 patient's samples. Antifungal therapy with either Liposomal Amphotericin-B or itraconazole was given in patients based on clinical symptoms. Amphotericin-B was de-escalated to Itraconazole maintenance therapy and then tapered in whom antifungal treatment was not initiated before testing. All the patients were followed up, re-tested after 10 days of therapy in some patients, and had shown negative results along with clinical improvement. The test showed good sensitivity and specificity. Conclusion: The rapid diagnosis of histoplasmosis using OIDx ICT is very helpful as a POCT (also in resource-limited settings) for initiating antifungal therapy in patients without having to wait for culture results.

4. Gain Augmentation of a HMSIW based Equilateral Triangular Antenna using CRSF FSS Superstrate

Abstract

In this paper, a half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) based equilateral triangular antenna is initially designed to operate at 6.5 GHz wireless frequency. This parent antenna is fitted with metallic vias all along two of its sides to make them perfect electrical conductor (PEC) walls while radiation taking place from the other side acts as perfect magnetic conductor (PMC) wall being devoid of such metallic vias. The antenna exhibits a gain of 5.5 dBi at the fundamental TE101 mode with linear polarization. Its gain is augmented using polarization independent coupled-resonator spatial filter (CRSF) frequency selective surface (FSS) as superstrate and is found to increase to 8.7 dBi at the same 6.5 GHz resonating frequency. The antenna prototype along with the FSS structure are both fabricated using Arlon AD270 substrate and experimental measurements are carried out. It is observed that both simulated and measured results are in close agreement with each other.

14. Computer-aided diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder from EEG signals using deep learning with FAWT and multiscale permutation entropy features

Abstract

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a neurodevelopment disorder, is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and emerges as a major threat to children. Its computer-aided diagnosis used by neurologists improves the detection process and has a favorable impact on patients’ health. Currently, a biomarker termed electroencephalography (EEG) is considered as vital tool to detect abnormal electrical activity in the brain. In this context, the present paper brings forth a novel approach for automated diagnosis of ASD from multichannel EEG signals using flexible analytic wavelet transform (FAWT). Firstly, this approach processes the acquired EEG signals with filtering and segmentation into short-duration EEG segments in the range of 5–20 s. These segmented EEG signals are decomposed into five levels using FAWT technique to obtain various sub-bands. Further, multiscale permutation entropy values are extracted from decomposed sub-bands which are used as feature vectors in the present work. Afterwards, these feature vectors are evaluated by traditional machine learning algorithms viz., k-nearest neighbor, logistic regression, support vector machine, and random forest, as well as convolutional neural network (CNN) as deep learning algorithm with different segment durations. The analysis of results reveals that CNN provides maximum accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and area under the curve of 99.19%, 99.34%, 99.21%, and 0.9997, respectively, for 10 s duration EEG segment to identify ASD patients among healthy individuals. Thus, the proposed CNN architecture would be extremely helpful during diagnostic process of autism disease for neurologists.

15. Dividend Policy of Banking Firms in Nepal: A Survey of Managerial Perspectives

Abstract

This paper analyses the views of managers of banking firms in Nepal to understand their perceptions towards dividend theories and factors affecting dividend policy. Based on a mail survey among 79 directors and CEOs of banking firms in Nepal during the months January to March 2022, the study suggests that managers prefer at most the combination of cash and stock dividend to be distributed to their shareholders. With respect to their preferences towards given form of dividend payments, managers claim that they generally go with shareholders’ preferences in deciding the forms of dividend payments. The study results further demonstrate strong support for signalling and bird-in-hand explanations of dividend theories. Among the 14 factors affecting dividend policy, the study reveals that firm’s level of current earnings, including the pattern of past earnings and stability of earnings are important factors in determining dividend policy of banking firms in Nepal. The survey evidence documented in this study further verifies the significance of signalling hypothesis in recent period in case of Nepal to explain why managers prefer to pay dividend. The main implication of the findings of this study is that it explores, in the changing context of meeting regulatory capital requirements, how the banking managers perceive about dividend policy of Nepalese banking firms. The finding of the study is primarily useful to investors seeking for investment in dividend paying banking firms in Nepal

Abstract

Abstract Two-particle angular correlations were measured in pp collisions at $$\sqrt{s} = 7$$ s = 7 TeV for pions, kaons, protons, and lambdas, for all particle/anti-particle combinations in the pair. Data for mesons exhibit an expected peak dominated by effects associated with mini-jets and are well reproduced by general purpose Monte Carlo generators. However, for baryon–baryon and anti-baryon–anti-baryon pairs, where both particles have the same baryon number, a near-side anti-correlation structure is observed instead of a peak. This effect is interpreted in the context of baryon production mechanisms in the fragmentation process. It currently presents a challenge to Monte Carlo models and its origin remains an open question.

Abstract

Abstract The production cross sections for prompt charmed mesons $$\mathrm{D^0}$$ D 0 , $$\mathrm{D^+}$$ D + , $$\mathrm{D^{*+}}$$ D ∗ + and $$\mathrm{D_s^+}$$ D s + were measured at mid-rapidity in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy $$\sqrt{s}=7~{\mathrm {TeV}}$$ s = 7 TeV with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). D mesons were reconstructed from their decays $$\mathrm{D}^0 \rightarrow \mathrm{K}^-\pi ^+$$ D 0 → K - π + , $$\mathrm{D}^+\rightarrow \mathrm{K}^-\pi ^+\pi ^+$$ D + → K - π + π + , $$\mathrm{D}^{*+} \rightarrow \mathrm{D}^0 \pi ^+$$ D ∗ + → D 0 π + , $$\mathrm{D_s^{+}\rightarrow \phi \pi ^+\rightarrow K^-K^+\pi ^+}$$ D s + → ϕ π + → K - K + π + , and their charge conjugates.With respect to previous measurements in the same rapidity region, the coverage in transverse momentum ( $$p_\mathrm{T}$$ p T ) is extended and the uncertainties are reduced by a factor of about two. The accuracy on the estimated total $$\mathrm{c}{\overline{\mathrm{c}}}$$ c c ¯ production cross section is likewise improved. The measured $$p_\mathrm{T}$$ p T -differential cross sections are compared with the results of three perturbative QCD calculations.

Abstract

Nidogen 1 (NID1) is an important basement membrane protein secreted by many cell types. We previously found that human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection rapidly induced chromosome 1 breaks and that the basement membrane protein NID1, encoded near the 1q42 break site, was downregulated. We have now determined that the specific breaks in and of themselves did not regulate NID1, rather interactions between several viral proteins and the cellular machinery and DNA regulated NID1. We screened a battery of viral proteins present by 24 hours postinfection (hpi) when regulation was induced, including components of the incoming virion and immediate early (IE) proteins. Adenovirus (Ad) delivery of the tegument proteins pp71 and UL35 and the IE protein IE1 influenced steady-state (ss) NID1 levels. IE1’s mechanism of regulation was unclear, while UL35 influenced proteasomal regulation of ss NID1. Real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) experiments determined that pp71 downregulated NID1 transcription. Surprisingly, WF28-71, a fibroblast clone that expresses minute quantities of pp71, suppressed NID1 transcription as efficiently as HCMV infection, resulting in the near absence of ss NID1. Sequence analysis of the region surrounding the 1q42 break sites and NID1 promoter revealed CCCTC-binding factor (CTCF) binding sites. Chromatin immunoprecipitation experiments determined that pp71 and CTCF were both bound at these two sites during HCMV infection. Expression of pp71 alone replicated this binding. Binding was observed as early as 1 hpi, and colocalization of pp71 and CTCF occurred as quickly as 15 min postinfection (pi) in infected cell nuclei. In fibroblasts where CTCF was knocked down, Adpp71 infection did not decrease NID1 transcription nor ss NID1 protein levels. Our results emphasize another aspect of pp71 activity during infection and identify this viral protein as a key contributor to HCMV’s efforts to eliminate NID1. Further, we show, for the first time, direct interaction between pp71 and the cellular genome. IMPORTANCE We have found that human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) utilizes multiple viral proteins in multiple pathways to regulate a ubiquitous cellular basement membrane protein, nidogen-1 (NID1). The extent of the resources and the redundant methods that the virus has evolved to affect this control strongly suggest that its removal provides a life cycle advantage to HCMV. Our discoveries that one of the proteins that HCMV uses to control NID1, pp71, binds directly to the cellular DNA and can exert control when present in vanishingly small quantities may have broad implications in a wide range of infection scenarios. Dysregulation of NID1 in an immunocompetent host is not known to manifest complications during infection; however, in the naive immune system of a developing fetus, disruption of this developmentally critical protein could initiate catastrophic HCMV-induced birth defects.

Abstract

ObjectiveSkin-to-skin contact (SSC) is effective to maintain normal temperature in low birth weight (LBW) newborns. However, there are several barriers related to privacy and space availability for its optimum utilization. We used cloth-to-cloth contact (CCC), i.e. placing the newborn in Kangaroo position without removing cloths as an innovative alternative to SSC to test its efficacy for thermoregulation and feasibility as compared to SSC in LBW newborns.MethodsThe newborns eligible for Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) in step-down nursery were included in this randomized crossover trial. Newborns received SSC or CCC as per randomization on the first day and then crossed over to other group on the next day and so on. A feasibility questionnaire was asked to the mothers and the nurses. Axillary temperature was measured at various time intervals. Group comparisons were made by either using independent sample t-test or Chi-square test.ResultsA total of 23 newborns received KMC for total 152 occasions in the SSC group and 149 times in the CCC group. There was no significant temperature difference between the groups at any time-point. Mean (standard deviation) gain of temperature at 120 min in the CCC group [0.43 (0.34)°C] was comparable to the SSC group [0.49 (0.36)°C] (p = 0.13). We did not observe any adverse effect of CCC. Most mothers and nurses perceived CCC feasible in hospital settings and felt that it could be feasible in-home settings too.ConclusionCCC was safe, more feasible and not inferior to SSC for maintaining thermoregulation in LBW newborns.

Bacterial infections are often polymicrobial.Pseudomonas aeruginosaandStaphylococcus aureuscause chronic co-infections, which are more problematic than mono-species infections. We found that the production ofS. aureusmembrane-bound pigment staphyloxanthin (STX), was induced by theP. aeruginosaexoproduct, 2-heptyl-4-hydroxyquinoline N-oxide (HQNO). The induction phenotype was conserved inP. aeruginosaandS. aureusclinical isolates examined. When subjected to hydrogen peroxide or human neutrophils,P. aeruginosasurvival was significantly higher when mixed with wild-type (WT)S. aureus, compared to a mutant deficient in STX production orP. aeruginosaalone. In a murine wound model, co-infection with WTS. aureus, but not the STX-deficient mutant, enhancedP. aeruginosaburden and disease compared to mono-infection. In conclusion, we discovered a novel role forP. aeruginosaHQNO mediating polymicrobial interactions withS. aureusby inducing STX production, which consequently promotes resistance of both pathogens to innate immune effectors. These results further our understanding of how different bacterial species cooperatively cause co-infections.

27. Osteoarthritis Increases Paresthestic and Akathisic Pain, Anxiety Case-ness, and Depression Severity in Patients With Parkinson's Disease

Abstract

Objective: Parkinson's disease (PD) patients are known to suffer from pain, anxiety, and depression, but the exact degree of association between the two is unknown. As many PD patients also suffer from physical impairments, this cross-sectional case-control study sets out to compare and determine the case-ness of pain, anxiety and depression in PD patients that suffer with or without symptomatic osteoarthritis (OA). The goal of this study, therefore, was to observe if additional pain associated with comorbid OA in PD patients is correlated with greater depression and anxiety rates. The importance of understanding the burden of pain and increased depression severity of PD and OA patients is so that they may be screened appropriately based on the symptoms, which may increase their overall quality of life.Methods:This cross-sectional case-control study included 3 groups of 34 patients and 78 healthy age and gender-matched control participants. PD patients with symptomatic OA (PD+OA), PD patients without symptomatic OA (PD), patients with symptomatic OA but no PD (OA), and healthy control participants (Control). A PD patient group with Restless Legs Syndrome (PD+RLS) of 27 patients was also included. All participants completed questionnaires to assess for pain, depression, and anxiety.Results:PD+OA and PD patients had worsened depression severity and were more likely to report anxiety and depression case-ness than OA patients. PD+OA patients were more likely to complain about paresthestic and akasthisic pain, but less likely to complain about aching pain compared to PD patients and OA patients. PD+OA patients were more likely to have greater pain severity, and were more likely to report radiating and sharp pain than PD+RLS patients. PD+OA patients were also more likely to report higher depression case-ness than PD+RLS patients.Conclusion:PD with OA seems to be linked with specific pain characteristics (akathisia and paraesthesia) as well as heightened overall pain severity and pain interference in comparison to OA alone, PD alone and PD with RLS. PD is also correlated with depression severity and anxiety case-ness in OA when compared to the OA alone, PD alone and PD with RLS.

Background: A combination of Glimepiride and Boswellia serrata extract reduces neuropathic diabetic complications by reducing the peroxidase level and improving the antioxidant level. The hybrid liquisolid method includes a combination of two methods, kneading and the liquisolid method, to enhance the drug’s in-vitro performance. Objective: The objective of this study was to enhance the in-vitro performance of antidiabetics drugs. Method: Tablets involving a fixed-dose combination of Glimepiride and Boswellia serrata extract were formulated by kneading method followed by liquisolid method. Screening of non-volatile solvents, carriers, and coating materials was carried out. The experiment was designed to optimize the formulation and the obtained model was validated concerning the design of the experiment. 3 level 2 factorial (32) design was applied by using Design expert software 11. Various pre-compression parameters were assessed to check the quality of the formulation. Results: Screening of excipients for kneading method, including Glimepiride with PVP K 30 (5%), and Boswellia serrata extract with Poloxamer 188 (13%), provided optimum drug release. For the liquisolid method, propylene glycol:PEG 400: Tween 80 (1:2:4) ratio for Glimepiride and PEG 400: Tween 80 (1:3) ratio for Boswellia serrata extract were selected. Common carrier and coating material for both drugs were selected to improve the in-vitro performance of the drug. Conclusion: This study enables an overall understanding of the impact of excipients on the quality of formulation, which may provide critical knowledge for the implementation of liquisolid systems.

30. Targeting extracellular matrix remodeling sensitizes glioblastoma to ionizing radiation

Abstract

Background The median survival of Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) patients is 14+ months due to poor responses to surgery and chemoradiation. Means to counteract radiation resistance are therefore highly desirable. We demonstrate the membrane bound matrix metalloproteinase MT1-MMP promotes resistance of GBM to radiation, and that using a selective and brain permeable MT1-MMP inhibitor, (R)-ND336, improved tumor control can be achieved in preclinical studies. Methods Public microarray and RNA-sequencing data were used to determine MT1-MMP relevance in GBM patient survival. Glioma stem-like neurospheres (GSCs) were used for both in vitro and in vivo assays. An affinity resin coupled with proteomics was used to quantify active MT1-MMP in brain tissue of GBM patients. Short hairpin RNA (shRNA)-mediated knockdown of MT1-MMP and inhibition via the MT1-MMP inhibitor (R)-ND336, were used to assess the role of MT1-MMP in radio-resistance. Results MT1-MMP expression inversely correlated with patient survival. Active MT1-MMP was present in brain tissue of GBM patients but not in normal brain. shRNA- or (R)-ND336-mediated inhibition of MT1-MMP sensitized GSCs to radiation leading to a significant increase in survival of tumor-bearing animals. MT1-MMP depletion reduced invasion via the effector protease MMP2; and increased the cytotoxic response to radiation via induction of replication fork stress and accumulation of double strand breaks (DSBs), making cells more susceptible to genotoxic insult. Conclusions MT1-MMP is pivotal in maintaining replication fork stability. Disruption of MT1-MMP sensitizes cells to radiation and can counteract invasion. (R)-ND336, which efficiently penetrates the brain, is therefore a novel radio-sensitizer in GBM.

Abstract

Neutrophils are the first line of defense deployed by the immune system during microbial infection. In vivo, neutrophils are recruited to the site of infection where they use processes such as phagocytosis, production of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS, RNS, respectively), NETosis (neutrophil extracellular trap), and degranulation to kill microbes and resolve the infection. Interactions between neutrophils and planktonic microbes have been extensively studied. There have been emerging interests in studying infections caused by biofilms in recent years. Biofilms exhibit properties, including tolerance to killing by neutrophils, distinct from their planktonic-grown counterparts. With the successful establishment of both in vitro and in vivo biofilm models, interactions between these microbial communities with different immune cells can now be investigated. Here, techniques that use a combination of traditional biofilm models and well-established neutrophil activity assays are tailored specifically to study neutrophil and biofilm interactions. Wide-field fluorescence microscopy is used to monitor the localization of neutrophils in biofilms. These biofilms are grown in static conditions, followed by the addition of neutrophils derived from human peripheral blood. The samples are stained with appropriate dyes prior to visualization under the microscope. Additionally, the production of ROS, which is one of the many neutrophil responses against pathogens, is quantified in the presence of a biofilm. The addition of immune cells to this established system will expand the understanding of host-pathogen interactions while ensuring the use of standardized and optimized conditions to measure these processes accurately.

Abstract

Background: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and lethal brain tumor in adults. Characterization of GBM heterogeneity has identified four molecular subtypes based on transcriptomic profile: classical, neural, proneural and mesenchymal. Tumors harboring the mesenchymal gene signature are considered the most aggressive, invasive, and multitherapy-resistant. We identify the polyamine acetylation enzyme, SAT1 (spermidine/spermine N1-acetyltransferase 1) as a component of the mesenchymal gene signature and mesenchymal-associated gene sets including (1) Hallmark EMT and (2) Hallmark TNFa signaling via NF-κB. Design/Methods: To validate the role of SAT1 in driving mesenchymal features in vivo, we utilized a genetically flexible, CRISPR-based model of GBM. Tumor bearing mice were generated through in utero electroporation, resulting in ablation of PTEN, P53 and NF1 in developing cortical cells. SAT1 knockout was achieved through cloning of additional guide RNA’s against SAT1 into the tumor initiating plasmid. Results: In our model, we found increased levels of both SAT1 and acetylated polyamines in tumors compared to normal brain. Ablation of SAT1 was insufficient to prolong overall survival in mice but rendered the otherwise treatment resistant tumors highly sensitive to chemoRT. Bulk RNA sequencing of murine tumors revealed that SAT1 knockout resulted in reduced expression of the mesenchymal gene signature as well as genes implicated in EMT and TNFa/NFKb signaling. Conclusions: Collectively, these results reveal that SAT1 not only identifies mesenchymal GBM but also drives expression of the mesenchymal gene signature and mesenchymal features including multi-therapy resistance. Global economic governance is in flux. The centralized international trade architecture of the post-Bretton Woods era is decentralizing as new regional institutions are being established for various reasons. Decentralization per se is neither good nor bad. It depends on whether there is “healthy” competition and functional complementarity or “unhealthy” competition between global and new regional institutions. This paper has three objectives, to: (i) review the decentralization of the international trade architecture; (ii) identify the benefits and the risks of the decentralization process and its implications for the centrality of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and (iii) recommend policies for the WTO to manage the process. The paper argues that, so far, the benefits of new regional institutions and trade decentralization appear to have outweighed the risks, and as a result global economic governance may have improved. Looking ahead, the paper recommends a number of policy actions that the WTO should take to manage trade decentralization. The paper argues that Asian countries, especially those that are members of the G20, should play a greater role in lobbying and driving the needed reforms of the WTO. They should also seek to expedite the conclusion and ratification of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and eventually institutionalize the complementarity between RCEP, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Abstract

In design of mechanical components, designer considers objectives that are related with volume, area, quality, cost, etc. of the product depending on the requirements. In the present work, optimization of five stage cantilever beam design problem and three stage heat exchanger design problem is carried using Amended Differential Evolution Algorithm (ADEA). ADEA is modified DE that can handle constrained optimization problems very efficiently. In five stage cantilever beam design problem, the design variables are optimized to reduce the volume of beam and in three stage heat exchanger design problem, the design variables are optimized to reduce total heat transfer area. The results obtained using ADEA are compared with the results reported by other researchers who have used different algorithms, namely, dBA, HS, GA, BA to optimize the same problems. The comparison of results shows that ADEA gives better results for five stage cantilever beam design problem and competitive results for three stage heat exchanger design problem.

Abstract

The objective of the current study was to develop a specific, precise, accurate and robust gradient stability indicating reversed-phase ultra performance liquid chromatography (RP-UPLC-PDA) assay method and validated for determination of edoxaban tosylate in API. Gradient separation was achieved on an acquity UPLC BEH C18 column (50 mm, 2.1 mm and 1.7 μm) column using mobile phase of acetoitrile:20 mM potassium dihydrogen phosphate, pH 3.0 ± 0.05 adjust with OPA at flow rate of 0.6 mL/min, the injection volume was 1 μL and the detection was carried out of 289 nm by using photodiode array detector. The drug was subjected to oxidation, hydrolysis, photolysis, and heat to apply stress condition. The method was linear in the drug concentration range of 100-300 μg/mL with correlation coefficient of 0.999. Degradation products produced as a result of stress studies did not interfere with detection of edoxaban tosylate and the assay, thus developed stability indicating method can be used for routine analysis in pharmaceutical industry.
