Abstract

The case of a patient with a large intra- and extrahepatic aneurysm of the hepatic artery is reported. In such cases, accurate preoperative diagnosis is essential, angiography for diagnosis and for a good preoperative evaluation is of considerable importance.

Abstract

A new agent for the treatment of constipation has been evaluated in a group of hospitalized patients with long histories of constipation or near obstipation. This preparation, Peri-Colace, a combination of Peristim, a peristaltic stimulant, and Colace, a stool softener, acted smoothly and effectively in the majority of our patients. Peri-Colace appears to be ideally suited for the management of constipation in patients with depressed bowel motility.
