Abstract

Chromatic confocal technology is widely used for precise, steady, and efficient displacement measurement in many industrial fields. It employs the confocal and dispersion principles to encode axial positions with the wavelengths of the reflected broad spectrum. The typical chromatic confocal sensor includes a light source, a dispersion objective, conjugate pinholes, and a spectral detection device. This study offers an overview of the current research on chromatic confocal technology. Because of its good performance in displacement detection, chromatic confocal technology has been widely used in contour measurement, biomedical imaging, and thickness measurements, as part of global and professional research. Due to its structural flexibility, it is also easily integrated into industrial equipment for in-machine and online profile measurements. It holds significant potential for future applications in industrial manufacturing and scientific research. However, there are also some challenges to be explored in terms of the broadband light source, dispersive optics design, and the balance between speed and accuracy in signal processing. Abstract

The new medical Ti-14Mo-2.1Ta-0.9Nb-7Zr alloy was prepared by powder metallurgy. The high temperature compression behavior and the dynamic recrystallization behavior of the alloy were investigated by hot compression tests. The tests were performed with a Gleeble-1500D simulator at 780-960℃ and stain rate of 0.001-1s-1 up to a deformation of 60%.The hyperbolic sine modified Arrhenius model, which included deformation activation energy Q and temperature T, was used to describe the hot compression deformation equation of maximum deformation resistance; and the material parameter function of α(ε), n(ε), Q(ε) and A(ε), was introduced to obtain the constitutive equations. The results show that the flow stress values predicted by the proposed model have a good agreement with experimental results, high value of correlation coefficient (R=0.99430) and low value of average absolute relative error (5.327%); the critical stress and critical stain for dynamic recrystallization (DRX) under different deformation conditions are accurately calculated based on the method of work hardening rate and the inflection points, which are determined by fitting a third order polynomial to the θ-σ and lnθ-ε curves. Then the mathematical models of critical stress versus Z parameter and the critical stress equations of dynamic recrystallization are deduced, the critical strain εc mainly concentrates in the 0.01-0.04 and the critical strains of dynamic recrystallization alloy under different deformation conditions change in tiny.

Abstract

The diversity of the carrier transport mechanism in the resistive switching process remains a significant obstacle for the design and application of resistive random access memory (RRAM) devices. In this study, the influence of annealing on the dielectric properties of the Ti/HfOx/Pt RRAM device and its associated carrier transport mechanism is investigated. The results reveal that the current conduction in both annealed and unannealed devices is primarily attributed to grain boundary (GB) relaxation, with only the GB acting as a depletion layer that induces dielectric relaxation. Furthermore, annealing decreases the interfacial polarization and changes the relaxation time at the GB. In addition, the charge carriers exhibit nearest‐neighbor hopping conduction at a higher temperature in Ti/HfOx/Pt RRAM devices, whereas variable‐range‐hopping conduction occurs at lower temperatures. Long‐range charge carrier transport also plays a significant role in the conduction process. To offer a deeper understanding of the conduction processes in the Ti/HfOx/Pt RRAM device, a carrier transport model is proposed, which provides valuable insights into the intricate mechanisms governing conduction in these devices. Abstract

Dispersal, whether active or passive, plays a crucial role in biogeography by facilitating the movement of propagules away from their original location. Botanical geographical zonation, resulting from the co‐evolution of plants and their environment, has been established since the remarkable plant diversification during the Devonian Period (c. 419–359 Ma). However, a significant knowledge gap exists in understanding plant dispersal between living and fossil organisms due to the rarity of opportunities for tracing plant dispersal in geological history. In this study, we present evidence of two plant dispersal routes and verify their occurrence through the examination of geographical zonation, changes in plant diversity, and latitudinal and longitudinal gradients during the Devonian. We analyse global occurrence data from widely‐distributed and extensively‐studied Devonian plants. The two dispersal routes, namely clockwise and anticlockwise, connect the South China and Euramerica–Siberia realms. These routes clearly demonstrate inland and inter‐land dispersal models, closely linked to Devonian sea–land topography and dispersal vectors such as wind and ocean currents. Moreover, these models probably apply to all Devonian plants. Our comprehensive synthesis of plant dispersal in deep time reveals that propagule diversity and dispersal vectors have progressively increased and become more complex over time, facilitating plant colonization and diversity changes. Importantly, our study unveils the dispersal models of fossil plants, demonstrating the equivalent models observed in extant plants that have been established since the Devonian Period.
