No cabe duda de que la lengua española goza de buena salud en el ámbito internacional y esa situación nos mueve a ofrecer al lector nuevos puntos de vista y nuevas ópticas relacionadas con los procesos de enseñanza que se dan en la misma, por lo que esperamos, en la medida de lo posible, que las aportaciones que modestamente pueda realizar la presente monografía en este amplio campo de trabajo sean no solo del interés de quienes ya poseen una consolidada experiencia en el ámbito de la praxis, sino también de aquellos que inician el camino relacionado con la enseñanza de esta lengua en un entorno profesional en el que se exige rigor, vocación y capacidad de superación." The purpose of this brief paper is to provide a starting point for further development and analysis of linguistic science by pointing out its link to Luhmann's general systems theory. Without a doubt, considerable research work has been conducted in this field and different approaches have been applied already, still leaving room, however, for suggesting a somewhat innovative contribution of a broad-brush nature which could give rise to new lines of research relating to this area.

The aim of this article is to focus on the analysis of popular views on taboo words related to the world of darkness and evil. From this perspective, we will discuss how – during the period between the XIV and XVIII century – popular imagination has created a lexicon in this specific field, represented by the taboos when one of the words is used. Also, we will see how and why there is a breaking of taboos when it comes to integrating socially forbidden words as cores of idioms. To achieve this, we will give an extensive historical presentation of how the notion of evil was created in mass awareness and what are the elements that best represent it.

There is no doubt that the figure of Stanislaw Lem is a solid reference in the context of science fiction literature of Eastern Europe in the second half of the twentieth century. Lem developed a literary game in which the criticism of the political system was implied in each paragraph along with an acid humor that transferred into masterpieces of contemporary science fiction.

Technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne (TIK), które z impetem wdarły się w życie współczesnych społeczeństw, przyniosły ze sobą szereg bezprecedensowych zmian i zrewolucjonizowały zarówno dotychczasowy sposób pojmowania pracy, nauki czy rozrywki, jak również wiele nawyków naszego życia codziennego. Kluczowymi postaciami zachodzącego procesu przeobrażeń są tzw. "cyfrowi tubylcy", w odróżnieniu od osób, które dorastały w epoce poprzedzającej inwazję TIK, określanych mianem "cyfrowych imigrantów". Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą refleksji nad sytuacją edukacji w ogóle, lecz przede wszystkim jego autor stara się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, w jaki sposób eksplozja TIK warunkuje w chwili obecnej powstawanie nowych form i sposobów nauczania, odmiennych od modeli wypracowanych przez tradycyjne systemy edukacji. The advent of ICT in society has been an unprecedented event as regards the adoption of new ways of conceiving work, education, leisure, etc., in our daily lives. The so-called "digital natives" play a key role in the process versus the group developed in the era before ICT - "digital immigrants". This article offers a reflection on the state of education in general, and on the current influence of ICT on the design of new models of education, different to those supported by traditional education systems.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie polidyskursywnego i polisemicznego charakteru polskiej partykuły NO, jak również implikacji, które przedstawia zarówno w języku polskim, jak i w tłumaczeniach na język hiszpański. W tym celu została przeprowadzona analiza w ujęciu pragmatycznym różnorodnych aktów mowy i kontekstów konwersacyjnych, w których element ten może występować w języku polskim oraz ich form ekwiwalentnych w języku hiszpańskim. Analiza ta pozwoliła zaobserwować pragmasemantyczną złożoność omawianej partykuły w określonych wypowiedziach, co jest szczególnie widoczne, gdy zaistnieje konieczność znalezienia jej właściwych odpowiedników w językach obcych, w tym przypadku w hiszpańszczyźnie. The aim of the paper is to show the polydiscoursive and polysemic nature of the Polish particle NO, as well as its implications that shows both in Polish and in translations into Spanish. In order to do that, the authors carried out a pragmatic analysis of diverse speech acts and conversational contexts, where this element can appear in Polish, and their equivalent forms in Spanish. This analysis enabled to observe a pragmasemantic complexity of this particle in certain utterances, which is specially visible in case of necessity of finding its appropriate equivalents in foreign languages, in our instance – in Spanish.

Aunque la didáctica de la lengua y en especial de la lengua extranjera propone el concepto de competencia intercultural como uno de los objetivos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, poca atención recibe este concepto en nuestras aulas. Muchos son los docentes que consideran la competencia lingüística como la más importante y piensan que las competencias comunicativa y intercultural pertenecen al ámbito de la experiencia personal del alumno. Pensamos que es necesario favorecer una nueva visión de la enseñanza de la cultura como base para la comunicación, para que el tratamiento de la cultura en el aula deje de ser un conjunto de conocimientos sobre la historia, la geografía, las instituciones de un país; Menos aún sobre las características turísticas de un país.
