NASICON electrode materials exhibit a broad spectrum of electrochemical potentials, robust ionic conductivity, and structural and thermal stabilities. Using solid state reaction method, Li2Cu2(MoO4)3 was synthesized, a member of NASICON family of compounds based on molybdenum. Various analytical techniques employed to assess structural and morphological properties of synthesized nanomaterial. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) pattern indicated that generated Li2Cu2(MoO4)3 nanomaterial exhibited orthorhombic crystalline structure, with crystallite size of approximately 48 nm. The nanomaterial morphology was evaluated using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), showing columnar‐ or fiber‐like morphology composed of some conductivity points. The elemental composition of Li2Cu2(MoO4)3 was analyzed by EDAX analysis, confirming the presence of elements lithium, copper, molybdenum, and oxygen. The optical properties and band gap of Li2Cu2(MoO4)3 were analyzed by ultraviolet visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UVDRS). Elemental composition of surface along with electronic states and oxidation states of component present in the nanomaterial Li2Cu2(MoO4)3 were investigated from X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Electrochemical evaluation using cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge–discharge (GCD), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS) showed a specific capacitance of 250 F g−1 at 3.5 A g−1 with the high retention rate of 95.82% after 3000 cycles, indicating its potential for high performance supercapacitors. Electrochemical water splitting offers a promising avenue for producing clean hydrogen fuel, essential for a sustainable energy landscape. A highly efficient catalyst, featuring a one-dimensional structure, has been synthesized by combining zinc iron sulfide with molybdenum disulfide (ZFSMS) on a nickel foam substrate. This synthesis method utilizes a simple yet effective hydrothermal approach tailored for efficient water splitting. By carefully engineering the interface between zinc iron sulfide and molybdenum disulfide, the electronic conductivity of the catalyst is significantly boosted, enhancing its catalytic performance. The resulting hybrid, ZFSMS, exhibits remarkable electrocatalytic efficiency with minimal overpotentials. Specifically, overpotentials of 130 mV and 220 mV are recorded for the oxygen evolution reaction at 20 mA cm−2 and 50 mA cm−2, respectively. Moreover, for the hydrogen evolution reaction, overpotentials of 145 mV and 257 mV are observed at 10 mA cm−2 and 40 mA cm−2, respectively, in a 1.0 M potassium hydroxide solution. Notably, the ZFSMS-based electrolyzer operates at a low voltage of 1.5 V at 10 mA cm−2, underscoring its efficiency in facilitating electrochemical hydrogen generation. This catalyst good candidate for advancing green hydrogen production, contributing to the progress of sustainable and clean hydrogen fuel production methods. In the present work, novel and effective quinoline-based polybenzoxazines coatings were prepared on cotton fabrics and mild steels to improve the hydrophobic properties and corrosion resistance, respectively. For this purpose, four quinoline containing mono-oxazine-based benzoxazines were synthesized using 8-hydroxyquinoline (Q), and various monoamines, such as: butylamine (ba), hexylamine (ha), octylamine (oa) and aniline (a). The molecular structure of the benzoxazine monomers was verified by 1H-NMR and FTIR spectroscopy. The effect of the aliphatic and aromatic functional groups of the benzoxazines on oxazine ring-opening curing was investigated, and the influence of their corresponding materials on thermal and morphological properties was also elucidated. These quinoline-based monomers have been successfully coated onto the surface: i) cotton fabrics to be used as a water – oil separation method; and ii) mild steel as inhibitor of the corrosion. In this sense, cotton fabric coatings exhibited highly hydrophobic properties (contact angle from 124° to 139°), and subsequently the water oil-separation efficiency was measured to the material that presented the highest contact angle (Poly Q-oa), obtaining a 91% separation efficiency. For benzoxazines coatings on mild steel, impedance tests have indicated that these polymers are corrosion inhibitor effectives. Finally, the antibacterial properties of the quinoline based benzoxazines was also analysed, indicating good antibacterial resistance owing to the existence of long alkyl chains in their respective molecular structure. According to the results obtained from numerous analyses, the quinolone-based polybenzoxazines can be considered as successful materials for applications such as corrosion resistance, oil-water separation, marine coating and microelectronics insulation. The present study focuses on employing a rapid, eco-friendly, economical, and sustainable approach to produce pure and zinc (Zn)-doped nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were synthesized by a green synthesis approach that utilized an extract from Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. The obtained samples were analyzed using XRD, TEM, FTIR, UV-DRS, PL, and XPS to determine their characteristics. The PXRD pattern exhibits the coexistence of spinel cubic and cubic symmetry phases. The optical band gap values of the synthesized materials were measured to be 1.55 eV and 1.92 eV for NiFe2O4 and Zn-doped NiFe2O4 nanoparticles, respectively. The values were derived using Tauc’s relation. The BET study determined that the generated Zn-doped NiFe2O4 had a surface area of 135.72 m2/g. The nickel ferrite nanoparticles, containing 5% zinc by weight, exhibited exceptional photocatalytic efficiency in decomposing methylene blue (99.9%) and malachite green (76.5%) dyes, respectively. The results suggest that the photocatalysts produced showed a highly efficient photodegradation process with a rapid reaction rate, which can be attributed to the effective separation and transfer of charge carriers generated by light.
