Artificial intelligence (AI) has gradually integrated into every aspect of pathology research. However, we also encounter some problems in the practical application of pathological artificial intelligence. 1. Research institutions attach importance to the protection of data privacy, which results in the emergence of data islands and is detrimental to our training of AI models. 2. The lack of interpretability of existing AI models leads to users' incomprehension and difficulty in human-computer interaction. 3. AI models make insufficient use of multi-modal data, making it difficult to further improve their predictive effectiveness. To address the above-mentioned challenges, we propose to introduce the latest technologies of trusted artificial intelligence (TAI) into existing research of pathological AI, which is embodied as the following: 1. Securely share data. We try to break data islands on the basis of adhering to data protection. We can use federated learning methods, only provide the results of data training without uploading the data itself, and greatly increase the amount of data that can be used for training without affecting the data security. 2. Give AI interpretability. The technology of graphic neural networks is used to simulate the process of pathologists' learning pathological diagnosis, making the model itself interpretable. 3. Fuse multimodal information. Use the technology of knowledge graph to integrate and deepen the analysis of more diverse and comprehensive data sources in order to derive more accurate models. Through the above three aspects, we can achieve reliable and controllable pathological AI and clear the responsibility through trusted pathological AI technology, so as to promote the development and clinical application of pathological AI.

In the world's first pig-to-human cardiac cytomegalovirus (PCMV), xenotransplant and elevated levels of porcine key factors contributing to patient mortality were considered. This has renewed attention on PCMV, a virus widely prevalent in pigs. Currently, there are no effective drugs or vaccines targeting PCMV, and its high detection difficulty poses challenges for prevention and control research. In this study, antiviral small hairpin RNA (shRNA) was selected and inserted into the Rosa26 and miR-17-92 loci of pigs via a CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knock-in strategy. Further in vitro viral challenge experiments demonstrated that these genetically edited pig cells could effectively limit PCMV replication. Through this process, we constructed a PCMV-infected cell model, validated partial viral interference sites, enhanced gene knock-in efficiency, performed gene editing at two different gene loci, and ultimately demonstrated that RNA interference (RNAi) technology combined with CRISPR/Cas9 has the potential to generate pig cells with enhanced antiviral infection capabilities. AIM: To study the inhibition effect of TAK-242 on the proliferation of rat eye Tenon’s capsule fibroblasts via the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathway. METHODS: SD rat Tenon’s capsule fibroblasts were extracted and cultured, then the cells were divided into normal control group, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) group (10 g/mL LPS) and TAK-242 group (1 μmol/L TAK-242, and 10 μg/mL LPS after 30min). The expressions of TLR4, transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in each group were detected by Western blot and reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Cell proliferation was detected by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8). RESULTS: Double immunofluorescent labeling in the extracted cells showed negative keratin staining and positive vimentin staining. Western blot showed that the LPS group had the highest expression of TLR4 and TGF-β1 (P0.05). RT-PCR showed that the IL-6 mRNA expression in LPS group was the highest in the three groups (P

Photoionization of matter is one of the fastest electronic processes in nature. Experimental measurements of photoionization dynamics have become possible through attosecond metrology. However, all experiments reported to date contain a so-far unavoidable measurement-induced contribution, known as continuum-continuum (CC) or Coulomb-laser-coupling delay. In traditional attosecond metrology, this contribution is nonadditive for most systems and nontrivial to calculate. Here, we introduce the concept of mirror symmetry-broken attosecond interferometry, which enables the direct and separate measurement of both the native one-photon ionization delays and the CC delays. Our technique solves the longstanding challenge of experimentally isolating these two contributions. This advance opens the door to the next generation of accurate measurements and precision tests that will set standards for benchmarking the accuracy of electronic structure and electron-dynamics methods. Abstract Recently, GaTe and C2N monolayers have been successfully synthesized and show fascinating electronic and optical properties. Such hybrid of GaTe with C2N may induce new novel physical properties. In this work, we perform ab initio simulations on the structural, electronic, and optical properties of the GaTe/C2N van der Waals (vdW) heterostructure. Our calculations show that the GaTe/C2N vdW heterostructure is an indirect-gap semiconductor with type-II band alignment, facilitating an effective separation of photogenerated carriers. Intriguingly, it also presents enhanced visible-UV light absorption compared to its components and can be tailored to be a good photocatalyst for water splitting at certain pH by applying vertical strains. Further, we explore specifically the adsorption and decomposition of water molecules on the surface of C2N layer in the heterostructure and the subsequent formation of hydrogen, which reveals the mechanism of photocatalytic hydrogen production on the 2D GaTe/C2N heterostructure. Moreover, it is found that in-plane biaxial strains can induce indirect-direct-indirect, semiconductor-metal, and type II to type I or type III transitions. These interesting results make the GaTe/C2N vdW heterostructure a promising candidate for applications in next generation of multifunctional optoelectronic devices.
