Currently, serological tests are used in the diagnosis of Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis (CAE), but a more accurate diagnosis of the disease requires the most reliable modern methods of immunodiagnosis. This is important for timely diagnosis and prevention of this disease, especially in commercial production of goat milk. At the present stage, the practice of infectious diseases immunodiagnosis in animals includes the determination of cytokines 6 and 10. The discovered cytokines allow for a different view on the infectious disease pathogenesis, while the previously used diagnostic methods are not excluded from the veterinary practice. At present, during the restoration and renewal of the goat population, new breeds purchased in foreign countries have appeared, and with them have come new diseases not previously prevalent in the Russian Federation. Therefore, practicing veterinarians need to develop the most effective immunodiagnostic tests for these diseases and work out effective control and prevention methods, as well as to be able to assess the risks of new infections or mixt infections. Immunophenotyping is performed in various infectious animal diseases, and immunological monitoring is also possible.

Goat breeding products (especially dairy products) are of great importance in human dietetic nutrition. In this connection the studies into infectious diseases and maintaining of well-being in terms of especially dangerous and social infections of animals on the territory of Russia are essential. Epizootological monitoring of caprine arthritis-encephalitis in the Russian Federation has shown that the central regions, including the Urals region, are unfavourable for this disease. Diagnostic tests for caprine arthritis-encephalitis (CAE) are understudied, and there are insufficient data on treatment and prevention, for this reason, the topic of CAE studies is highly relevant and of key importance for clarifying the identification of the causative agent and blood changes in biochemical and haematological tests, when clinical signs of infection are present.

For diary herding, milk production is one of the determining factors of effective actions. That is why it’s very important to get a high percentage of heifers into a processing of herd reproducing, which became possible after introduction of sexed seed – sperm, which cells are divided concerning the sex. Using of sexed seed allows us to repair the herd more quickly, and also to increase the realization volume of heifers by breed enterprises, which very good influence on their profitability. Provided of researching analyses showed us, that using the seed divided by sex into a large agricultural enterprise, the fertility rate is lower on 5-8%, than we will use the traditional seed, and female calves are much higher.

Bile duct injuries occur in 0.4 % of elective and 0.8 % of emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomies. The risk factors for bile duct damage and the optimal timing of laparoscopic cholecystectomy were studied. The emphasis is on theoretical and practical training of the surgeon as the main component of the prevention of bile duct injuries. The variant anatomy of vessels, bile ducts and important anatomical landmarks during the operation are described. During «complex cholecystectomy», «rescue strategies» are proposed and modern imaging techniques are reviewed. The concept of safe cholecystectomy is evaluated. The issues of damage classification are touched upon. Analysis of the literature showed that debate continues in the global surgical community about the correct tactics for managing these patients. There is also a problem in assessing complications and there is a lack of standardization of outcomes after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

In this research the influence of natural and climatic conditions on the organization of construction production are examined. Our purpose was to identify the nature of the dependence of the duration of construction work on natural and climatic factors. The analysis of normative and technical documentation in terms of accounting for the influence of natural and climatic factors was made. The system of estimation of influence of natural conditions on preparatory, ground, facade, roofing works, and also the appliance of monolithic structures, installation of prefabricated ferroconcrete items, and on works – implementation of internal finishing is offered. It was estimated, that the norms of construction production take into account a certain number of natural and climatic factors affecting the performance of work, but most of these factors have not yet been given in the normative and technical documentation. It is necessary to study this issue more comprehensively and to establish exact dependences on natural and climatic conditions, which will allow to quantify these factors already while calculating. This is necessary to compile more accurate calendar plans and schedules of production of works, as close as possible to real conditions. The study of this issue is one of the most important issues in the design of construction production. With insufficient consideration of these factors, the final actual figures are very different from the projected ones, which also lead to an increase in the cost of construction and installation work and the duration of their implementation. Taking into consideration the influence of natural and climatic factors will allow planning construction production more accurate.

The concept of “smart city” is becoming more and more popular. Analysis of the literature showed that the meaning of the word “smart city” is multifaceted. The authors are similar in that the implementation of tasks under the concept of “smart city” will lead to economic growth of the territory and achieve high quality of life through the active introduction of information technology in the processes of life support. The majority of publications deal with the development of a “smart city” as a municipality and provide a method of ranking them by digitalization levels. This article uses the example of the recreation and tourism sector as an example to offer an assessment of digitalization within the industry, which will reveal competitive organizations within the industry. The article substantiates that the sphere of recreation and tourism as a direction of digital transformation of “smart resort” is a driver of development and implementation of IT technologies. And this will lead to the future development of “smart city” as a whole.

A systematic approach based on environmental and technological criteria has been proposed to ensure the achievement of environmental quality standards of the environment at the regional intersectoral level for the management of industrial and municipal waste. A list of indicators and criteria has been formed for comparing the accumulating capacity of a given natural system without serious violations of its structural and functional characteristics on the one hand. On the other hand, there is production potential and production capacity for natural resources for individual enterprises and a diversified industrial complex. An algorithm for comparing production and natural potentials on the basis of a geographic information basis on the scale of a territorial natural production complex has been developed and the structure of a GIS project has been determined. The latter made it possible to interconnect the natural intensity of production (NP), the level of environmental friendliness of production (EFP), the ecological technological capacity of the territory (ETT) using the criteria of commensuration (NDV, VAT, PDRO and NDT).

Due to the deterioration of the environmental situation in the world, many countries are interested in a strategy of “green growth” that combines efforts in the field of economics, ecology, sociology, health care, and technology. One of the environmentally friendly activities is agrotourism. Russian regions have a huge natural and recreational potential for agrotourism, which has a high socio-economic importance for municipalities in terms of the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the creation of additional jobs, the formation of the added value of the tourist product. However, there are negative factors: low level of infrastructure development, lack of a recognizable brand, poor transport accessibility to the objects of agrotourism, seasonality of agricultural products, weak state financial support for the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas, lack of investors’ interest. The paper presents main features of the development of agrotourism in the resort area (for example, the resort city of Sochi) that has the properties of a “green economy” and can contribute to “green growth”.

The creation of a cell-engineered pancreatic construct (CEPC) from islets of Langerhans and biocompatible matrix carrier (framework/scaffold), which imitates the native microenvironment of pancreatic tissue, is an approach to the treatment of type I diabetes mellitus (T1D).The objective of this work is to conduct a comparative analysis of the functional efficacy of CEPC and isolated rat islets of Langerhans after intraperitoneal administration into rats with experimental T1D.Materials and method. T1D was induced in rats by injecting low-dose (15 mg/ kg) streptozotocin (STZ) for 5 days. CEPC samples were created using viable and functional allogeneic isolated islets of Langerhans and tissue-specific scaffold obtained by decellularization of human pancreatic fragments. The rats received intraperitoneal injection of allogeneic islets of Langerhans (experimental group 1, n = 4) and CEPC (experimental group 2, n = 4). Control group rats received no treatment (n = 4). Blood glucose levels in the rats were measured, and the pancreas and kidneys of the experimental animals were examined histologically. The follow-up period for all animals continued for 10 weeks. Results. In experimental group 1, on day 7 after injection of Langerhans islets, glycemia decreased significantly from 28.2 ± 4.2 mmol/L to 13.4 ± 2.6 mmol/L. This fall persisted for 7 weeks, following which blood sugar increased to nearly their initial levels (prior to islets administration). In experimental group 2, on day 7 after CEPC administration, there was a more noticeable drop in blood sugar levels from 25.8 ± 5.1 mmol/L to 6.3 ± 2.7 mmol/L compared to experimental group 1. By the 10th week of the experiment, the average glucose level was two times lower than it was at the beginning. Blood glucose levels dropped more sharply in the CEPC group than in the islet group (by 75.6% and 52.5%, respectively).Conclusion. In T1D rats, CEPC has a more potent antidiabetic effect than islets of Langerhans. Thus, it has been shown that a tissue-specific scaffold may be used to create bioartificial pancreas in order to increase the functional efficiency of islets.

Anticipatory wheat breeding for pathogen resistance is key to preventing economically significant crop losses caused by diseases. Recently, the harmfulness of a dangerous wheat disease, stem rust, caused by Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici, was increased in the main grain-producing regions of the Russian Federation. At the same time, importation of the Ug99 race (TTKSK) is still a possibility. In this regard, the transfer of effective resistance genes from related species to the bread wheat breeding material followed by the chromosomal localization of the introgressions and a marker analysis to identify known resistance genes is of great importance. In this work, a comprehensive analysis of ten spring bread wheat introgressive lines of the Federal Center of Agricultural Research of the South-East Region (L657, L664, L758, L935, L960, L968, L971, L995/1, L997 and L1110) was carried out. These lines were obtained with the participation of Triticum dicoccum, T. timopheevii, T. kiharae, Aegilops speltoides, Agropyron elongatum and Secale cereale. In this study, the lines were evaluated for resistance to the Ug99 race (TTKSK) in the Njoro, Kenya. Evaluation of introgression lines in the field for resistance to the Ug99 race (TTKSK) showed that four lines were immune, two were resistant, three were moderately resistant, and one had an intermediate type of response to infection. By cytogenetic analysis of these lines using fluorescent (FISH) and genomic (GISH) in situ hybridization, introgressions from Ae. speltoides (line L664), T. timopheevii (lines L758, L971, L995/1, L997 and L1110), Thinopyrum ponticum = Ag. elongatum (2n = 70) (L664, L758, L960, L971, L997 and L1110), as well as introgressions from T. dicoccum (L657 and L664), T. kiharae (L960) and S. cereale (L935 and L968) were detected. Molecular markers recommended for marker-oriented breeding were used to identify known resistance genes (Sr2, Sr25, Sr32, Sr1A.1R, Sr36, Sr38, Sr39 and Sr47). The Sr36 and Sr25 genes were observed in lines L997 and L1110, while line L664 had the Sr39+Sr47+Sr25 gene combination. In lines L935 and L968 with 3R(3D) substitution from S. cereale, gene resistance was presumably identified as SrSatu. Thus, highly resistant to both local populations of P. graminis and the Ug99 race, bread wheat lines are promising donors for the production of new varieties resistant to stem rust.

Smartphones are mobile technology cutting-edge. Daily, the amount of time spent on a phone increases. Excessive smartphone use and addiction have developed into big social issues. Addiction to smartphones is a negative and pathological concept that is assessed by a set of subjective and behavioral symptoms including fixation, loss of control, and withdrawal symptoms. Teachers in STEM fields have a higher degree of involvement with their students in the use of digital tools. STEM teacher candidates must demonstrate an understanding of how to incorporate technology successfully into classroom activities. Determine the incidence of smartphone addiction among prospective STEM educators to justify future awareness training. The association between pre-service STEM instructors' smartphone addiction was studied. The research included 242 persons, 180 of whom were females and 62 males. The SAI is self-administered and scored independently for each dimension. Data is analyzed using machine learning techniques. Cluster analysis is used to analyze the inventory's dimensions. The k-means technique is used for cluster analysis. The library's SHAP (SHapley additive explanations) approach was used to evaluate the classification result and assess the impact of attributes on the classification result. According to the findings, the highest level was judged to be 30 participants. Approximately 3%4 participants are deemed moderate (high and very high). Also, 48 people are at a low level. In terms of the overall group, it is modest. Being in the lowest cluster is linked to 100+ uses, whereas being in the highest cluster is linked to 6-10 uses. The exact degree of smartphone use linked to smartphone addiction is unknown. Females inversely correlate with the highest and lowest clusters.

The COVID-19 outbreak has wreaked havoc on educational systems on a scale never seen before in history. The closure of schools and other institutions of learning has impacted 94% of the world's student population. Even school closures, such as those that occur during the summer, have a significant effect on children's academic ability. The word "learning loss" refers to any loss of information and abilities, whether specific or generic. By Fall 2020, extended absences from school will have a detrimental effect on student achievement. Learning loss is commonly addressed when schools close for extended periods of time during the summer, natural catastrophes, or epidemics. Even brief school closures might result in significant loss of learning. Due to the global nature of the COVID-19 epidemic, special attention was devoted to learning losses. During the pandemic, learning loss occurs as a result of kids studying at home due to school closures. School closures do not have to result in an equal loss of learning for all students. The variables that contribute to learning loss include "change in teaching methods", "opportunities to reach education", "less time for learning", and "emotional factors". Reduced instructional time--provided by teachers in accordance with the national curriculum--is likely to result in loss of learning. Due to the disparate scales used in the studies, it is hard to compare the magnitudes of learning losses. However, based on the data from the studies, it is reasonable to assume that these nations are investigating learning losses and that they exist. As a result, there is convincing evidence that students lose more information during lockdown than they do over the course of a normal school year. The elements causing learning losses differ according to context. With the reopening of schools, it is important to establish the actual magnitude of learning losses and to implement remedial measures in order to avoid the emergence of medium- and long-term educational difficulties.

IntroductionThe study investigates the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education (HE) and its impact on pre-service teachers at the University of Latvia (UL) by exploring pre-service teachers' perceptions of the benefits and challenges of AI in both their academic learning and their future professional roles as educators, particularly regarding the promotion of inclusive education.MethodsData was collected via an online survey of 240 pre-service teachers across various disciplines at the UL. The survey included demographic details, AI usage patterns, and perceived benefits and challenges. Responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Kruskal-Wallis H tests, Spearman's correlation, and thematic analysis.ResultsLess than half of the participants used AI in their studies, with many expressing ambivalence or opposition toward AI. Benefits included language assistance and accessibility to global knowledge, while challenges involved reduced critical thinking and concerns over plagiarism. Despite recognizing AI's potential to promote inclusivity, most pre-service teachers have not applied it in practice. No significant differences in AI perceptions were found based on age, gender, or study level.DiscussionThe findings highlight a low adoption rate of AI among pre-service teachers and a gap between theoretical recognition of AI's potential and its practical application, particularly for inclusion. The study emphasizes the need for HE institutions to enhance AI literacy and readiness among future teachers.ConclusionAI is underutilized by pre-service teachers in both HE learning and teaching environments, which has implications for teacher preparation programs that better integrate AI literacy and inclusive practices.

The purpose of health resort institutions' activity is the health improvement of the population and the maintenance of its viability. In recent years state support for the financing of health and resort packages of citizens has been declining, the prices for recreational services are growing. This article reveals the shortcomings of the hierarchical system of financial support for health resort institutions and presents the structure of combined financial support for health resort services.

The article presents testing results of non-autoclave structural and heat-insulating foam concrete, made on the basis of astringents of different grades and with different fillers. It has been experimentally established that the best filler for foam concrete is microsilica due to its high specific surface area and low bulk density in comparison with the sand. The use of high-quality binders in foam concrete mixtures allows to increase not only the strength of foam concrete, but also the content of microsilica up to 70% with respect to mixtures at lower brands of Portland cement.

The selection of the composition of a highly mobile concrete mixture for manufacturing small architectural forms has been performed, and the strength characteristics of light fine-grained fibrous concrete have been studied. It has been experimentally established that the optimal ratio of the Portland cement to microsilica is 1: 1. The introduction of basalt fiber in the amount of 0.5% of the mass of solids contributes to the increase in bending strength of fine-grained concrete to 70%.
