Project Acronym: HYBUILD ; Grant Agreement No: 768824 HYBUILD is a project ssupported by the European Commission underr its Horizon 2020 programme – Energy-efficie ennt Buildings Public-Private partnership. The prooject will develop two innovative compact hyb brri id electrical/thermal storage systems for stand-alone and district connected buildings. This report is an initial Data MManagement Plan (DMP) report made public in mmonth six (March 2018). It outlines how data a arre collected or generated by the HYBUILD projecctt, in terms of how it will be organized, stored, aand shared. It specifies which data will be op n a access and which will be confidential within thhe consortium, as far as it is possible to do so aat this stage. The report has been developed following the Horizon 2020 guidelines (EC DG R&I, 2017) whit additional guidance from the joint OpenAire and EUDAT webinar "How to write a Data Management Plan" (OpenAire and EUDAT, 2018) Open access (OA) is understood as the free, online provision of re-useable scientific information to other users. There are many good reasons to make the data and findings from publically funded research openly available to the research community, the commercial sector and civil society. Much of the data gathered by the project is for the purpose of project management and delivery rather than new knowledge creation; it is therefore likely that much of the data is categorised as confidential (Consortium). However, the project will seek to openly disseminate its research findings, except in cases where there are deefined exploitable outcomes, privacy concerns or there will be a high administrative burden for a dataset of limited worth to other users. The initial HYBUILD DMP highlights that the most significant datasets identified are the Life Cycle Assessment results of the HYBUILD systems (Task 5.1) and the energy performance resutls of the overall system (Task 6.4). It is these data that will validate the impact of the project and the conclusions drawn in scientic publications that arise. It is intented that where possible these data will be made avaliable through open access repositories. This Data Management Plann will have to be updated in conjunction with the progress of the research: datasets characterisation will be fine-tuned, and potentially their publication level will have tot be adapted accordingly. An update of the various datasets is anticipated at M12 of the project, in conjunction with the release of the communication plan (D8.4).

Special architectural conditions and needs are common in almost all shopping centres. The main retrofit drivers are: (i) improve the indoor environmental quality and functionality, to enhance the customers experience; (ii) reduce the energy consumption; (iii) optimize the building operation and relative maintenance costs and (iv) improve the overall sustainability level reducing the environmental, social, and economic impact. Shopping centres vary in their functions, typologies, forms and size, as well as the (shopping) trip purpose. To consider the shopping centre building stock as one segment with its own boundaries and trends, the EU FP7 CommONEnergy project set a shopping centre definition1: “A shopping centre is a formation of one or more retail buildings comprising units and ‘communal’ areas, which are planned and managed as a single entity related in its location, size and type of shops to the trade area that it serves.” The European wholesale and retail sector is the big marketplace of Europe, contributing with around 11% of the EU’s GDP2. Therefore, sustainability of the retail sector may significantly contribute to reaching the EU long-term environmental and energy goals. Within the retail sector, shopping centres are of particular interest due to: their structural complexity and multi-stakeholders’ decisional process, their high energy savings and carbon emissions reduction potential, as well as their importance and influence in shopping tendencies and lifestyle. A shopping centre is a building, or a complex of buildings, designed and built to contain many interconnected activities in different areas. Next to public spaces, there are areas related to work spaces, with different use and location and according to the shopping centre type. They have different opening hours and entrances than the shopping centre. Today, in addition to the mere commercial function, a shopping centre responds to several customer needs: it exhibits recreational attractions …

The electrical quantities of future power networks are expected to exhibit strong fluctuations caused by dynamic bidirectional energy flows transferred from/to a multitude of "prosumers”. Such variations have to be accurately measured in real-time either for efficient power distribution or for safety and protection purposes. This task can be accomplished by the Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), which measure the phasor of voltage or current waveforms synchronized to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Accuracy of synchrophasor measurements is one of the many open challenges that need to be addressed in order to guarantee smart grid reliability and availability. Synchrophasor measurement has gained an undisputed relevance in the research community working on power delivery issues for various reasons. Among them, state estimation (SE) of both transmission and distribution networks is one of the most important. Within this general context, this dissertation covers two complementary topics. In the first part, starting from the concept of synchrophasor and from the definition of the parameters to evaluate PMU performances, useful guidelines to design a filter-based synchrophasor estimator are provided. Afterwards, an extensive performance comparison of some state-of-the-art synchrophasor estimation algorithms is reported in most of the static and dynamic conditions described in the IEEE Standards C37.118.1-2011. Also, a novel technique able to address both static and dynamic disturbances is presented and analyzed in depth. In this respect, special attention is devoted to phasor angle estimation accuracy, which is particularly important for active distribution networks. The second part of the dissertation is focused on the role and the impact of PMUs for grid state estimation. After recalling the state estimation problem and the traditional Weighted Least Square (WLS) technique to solve it, a general uncertainty sensitivity analysis to different types of measurements is introduced and justified both theoretically and through simulations. Afterwards, the effect of a growing number of PMUs on WLS-based state estimation uncertainty is evaluated as a function of instrumental accuracy and line parameters tolerance. Finally, a Bayesian linear state estimator (BLSE) based on a linear approximation of power flow equations for distribution networks is presented. The main advantage of BLSE is that in most cases it is so accurate as the WLS technique, but it is computationally lighter, faster and more stable from the numerical point of view.

International audience; We report on the development of a wireless lamp dedicated to the feedback of energy consumption. The principle is to provide a simple and intuitive feedback to residents through color variations of the lamp depending on the amount of energy consumed in a house. Our system is demonstrated on the basis of inexpensive components piloted by a gateway storing and processing the energy data in a WoT framework. Different versions of the color choosing algorithm are also presented.
