Improving information retrieval skills and promoting maternal health literacy of pregnant women leads to their ability to access, understand, and use health information. It leads to maintaining and promoting the health of pregnant women. The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between health literacy and the health information-seeking behavior of pregnant women referring to health centers in Bushehr. This applied research is carried out in a survey method. The statistical population of this study is 271 pregnant women referring to health centers in Bushehr who were selected by stratified random sampling method. Data were collected using health information behavior and health literacy questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS software version 24. Findings showed that 25% of women had good health information-seeking behavior. Also, 51% of pregnant women had inadequate health literacy, 25% had border health literacy, and 24% had adequate health literacy. The findings also confirmed a significant relationship between health information-seeking behavior and health literacy (P = 0.011). As the low and unfavorable health literacy among pregnant women in Bushehr municipality, health policymakers should pay more attention to improving such a situation. If we accept that poor information-seeking behavior alongside low health literacy causes the wrong health information, then it can be advised that health information-seeking skills education becomes a part of the policymakers' planning. This study aimed to investigate the demand for information from Iranian users to the supply of scientific products to Iranian researchers in the field of the Quran during the years 2011-2020. The present study is a descriptive-analytical done by web research and scientometric methods using infodemiology indicators. The population included the keywords of Iranian users’ search in the field of the Qur’an - using Google Trends; and in the scientometrics section, the research conducted by Iranian researchers in the area of the Qur’an - indexed in Islamic world citation databases, web of science, and Scopus during the years 2011-2020. A correlation test was performed to investigate the alignment of users ‘information retrieval behavior and researchers’ scientific products using R software. The number of scientific products of researchers and the index of Iranian users’ search volume in the Google search engine has increased over ten years. The average growth of scientific productions of Iranian researchers in the Quranic studies was 411.40. Spearman correlation coefficient between users’ information-seeking behavior and scientific products of Iranian researchers in the field of Quran in the sections of Web search (P-value = 0.001), YouTube search (P-value = 0.0001) and the sum of parts of Google search engine (P-value = 0.0001) was obtained meaningfully. Many factors affect the increasing scientific production of Iranian researchers in the Quranic fields. Policymakers and experts should trust health studies. On the other hand, it should be considered by the general public. Altmetrics, as a new method, seeks to examine the social effects of researchers' scientific outputs along with citation analysis indices. The present study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the articles published by researchers in the field of waterpipe/cigarette smoking on the Web of Science database during 2010-2019. This paper is a descriptive-analytical study with a correlational approach in the citation analyses using the Altmetrics index. The statistical population consists of papers on waterpipe/cigarette smoking by Middle Eastern researchers during 2010-2019 published on the Web of Science. The data is extracted using the Altmetrics Bookmarklet and analyzed it by excel and SPSS.From the total number of scientific articles in the field of waterpipe/cigarette smoking by Middle Eastern researchers during the research period, 1,086 articles were indexed on the Web of Science, and only 2% of them had no Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) or PubMed Identifiers (PMID); on the contrary, 50% of the articles had Altmetrics scores. Among the social networks cited by the researchers of the Middle Eastern countries in the field of waterpipe/cigarette smoking, the shares of social networks, namely Dimensions, Mendeley, and Twitter, were the most. The most significant number of citations of the articles on Mendeley and Twitter belonged to U.S. and U.K. users. Also, medicine and dentistry had the highest number of Mendeley citations. The correlation coefficient between the altmetrics score and citation index was poor but significant (R=0.32, P <0.05). The publication of research papers on the social web (i.e., social networks) increases the visibility of the documents and makes them visible to a broad audience. This is effective in the future of citations of articles on citation databases. This further increases the qualitative performance indices of the papers by receiving more citations. Traditional citation analysis has been greatly criticized because the process of citation accumulation requires considerable time after publication. So, the term "altmetrics" was proposed in 2010 to measure the scientific and social impact of a paper. According to the deficiencies of traditional citation analysis, we performed a comprehensive search for medical ethics publications using the altmetrics approach from the beginning until 2019. In this descriptive-analytical study, we retrieved the articles discussing any topics relating to medical ethics that published in the Scopus database from the beginning till 2019 using related medical ethics keywords. A total number of 455 articles with altmetrics scores and citations, included in this study. Altmetrics data were extracted via an altmetrics bookmarklet. Dimensions, Mendeley, and Twitter, had prominent sources of attention on social media platforms. The most number of tweets, and Mendeley's attentions, in the medical ethics fields, originated from the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK). Moreover, master students have the largest share in the citation of articles in Mendeley. Journal of Medical Ethics and History of Medicine has the most proportion of altmetrics score among Iranian papers in medical ethics. The correlation between the altmetrics score and citation index was significant (p <0.05). The medical ethics researchers have to pay more attention to social activities (such as creating and updating their profiles on social media) on the web for wide dissemination and proper evaluation of their scientific publications. This paper aims to investigate the relationship between library anxiety and emotional intelligence of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences' students and Persian Gulf University's students in Bushehr municipality. In this descriptive study which is of correlation type, 700 students of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and the Persian Gulf University selected through stratified random sampling. Required data has been collected using normalized Siberia Shrink's emotional intelligence questionnaire and localized Bostick's library anxiety scale. The results show that the rate of library anxiety among students is less than average (91.73%) except "mechanical factors". There is not a significant difference in all factors of library anxiety except "interaction with librarian" between male and female. The findings also indicate that there is a negative significant relationship between library anxiety and emotional intelligence (r= -0.41). According to the results, it seems that by improving the emotional intelligence we can decrease the rate of library anxiety among students during their search in a library.
