A number of different research methodologies have been developed to increase the conductivity and mechanical properties of stretchable or flexible conductors. One of the promising techniques recommended for applying metallic nanoparticles (NPs) to PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) substrate is to develop a thin-film that gives possible conductivity and good mechanical strain. This article discusses the preparation of silver nanoparticles using the chemical reduction method with silver nitrate as the precursor, and uses glucose as a reducing agent. In addition, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) is used to prevent the nanoparticles' oxidation and agglomeration once they have been synthesized successfully. Moreover, we utilize the power of diethylamine to accelerate the evolution of nanoparticles, and deionized water is used to prevent any possible contamination. The prepared Ag-NPs are then deposited on the solidified PDMS substrate through sintering. A multimeter is used to measure the electrical resistance. Ag-NPs are confirmed by UV-Vis at a 400-nm peak. Furthermore, we discuss the surface morphologies, particle sizes and thicknesses of the film and substrate when studied using different microscopy techniques. The selected six specific bacterial and fungal strains, which caused oral teeth decay were analyzed by antimicrobial iron oxide (Fe2O3), copper oxide (Cu4O3), and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles synthesized by aloe barbadensis leaves extract, using agar well diffusion method with 0.9% saline solution. TMOs comparatively had not been focused on oral cavity infectious pathogens to analyze antimicrobial activity. In the present study, TMOs were characterized by UV, SEM, FTIR, and XRD. Oral infectious strains (Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Klebsiella pneumonia) and fungal strains (Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans) were used as test microorganisms. The effect of different concentrations of TMO-NPs (2.5 µg/mL, 5 µg/mL, 10 µg/mL) was studied by zone of inhibition (ZOI), minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). The zinc oxide nanoparticle with least particle-sized (37.8 nm) exhibited highest antimicrobial activity. People relate the neural disorders with either inheritance or psychological violence but there might be some other reasons responsible for the ailment of people that do not have such a background. The present study explains the chronic effect of heavy toxic metals on nervous system. During experimentation, rabbits used as laboratory animals, were given test metals in their diet. Concentration of metals given to them in the diet was less than their tolerable dietary intake. Behavioral changes were observed during experimentation. Periodic increase in the metal concentration was seen in the blood sample of rabbits. They were slaughtered after a period of eight months of slow poisoning. Histological examination of brain tissues was performed. The brain samples were analyzed by Atomic absorption spectroscopy and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry to find the retention of heavy metals in mammalian brain. Concentration of lead, mercury and cadmium in the blood samples of occupationally exposed people and patients with neurological disorders at the time of neurosurgery was determined by using the same techniques. During circulation, toxic metals passes through the nerve capillaries to settle down in the brain. Heavy metals cross the blood brain barrier and 'may retain themselves in it. Brain tumors and biopsy samples of patients with neurological disorder were also analyzed to relate neurotoxicity and heavy metal poisoning. Results obtained shows that lead, mercury and cadmium retain themselves in the brain for longer period of time and are one of the causes of neurotoxicity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

AbstractThis study presents a novel approach for the simultaneous identification and quantification of extractable chlorinated organic carriers (COCs) from diverse materials, including textiles, foam and leather. COCs, valued for chemical synthesis, dye transfer and solvents for dye formulations. In this work, dichloromethane under ultrasonic conditions at 25 °C for 30 minutes was employed for the extraction of COCs. Gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) utilizing a DB-5MS column facilitated the separation and detection of target analytes. SIM ionization mode was utilized with target and qualifier ions for detection. Optimization of parameters such as extractant type, extraction method, and time resulted in high recoveries ranging from 95% to 105%. The calibration curve exhibited a range of 5 to 120 ng mL−1 with regression values of 0.996–0.998. The method demonstrated excellent precision with relative standard deviations (RSD) below 10% for test specimens and for pure standards. Limits of detection (LODs) was below 0.1 ng mL−1, indicating high sensitivity. Application of the developed method to real specimens successfully detected COCs at concentrations ranging from 2.60 to 9.94 ng mL−1, affirming its effectiveness in environmental monitoring and risk assessment.
