In this paper we consider architectural layout problem that seeks to determine the layout of Units based on lighting, heating, available sizes and other objectives and constraints. For a conceptual design of architectural layout we present an approach based on evolutionary search method known as the genetic algorithms (GAs). However, the rate of convergence of GAs is often not good enough at their current stage. For this reason, the improved genetic algorithm is proposed. We have analysed and compared the performance of standard and improved genetic algorithm for architectural layout problem solutions and presented the results of performance. Based on the solutions of an external ballistics task, tables are made for firearms and tables or computer control programs for heavy weapons. If you shoot in a mountainous area where the height difference between gunner and target can be about a hundred meters, defined skills for firing are necessary. We can make specific tables of firing with firearms in mountainous areas. Mortars are relatively simple and inexpensive weapons, and therefore their management has never been computerised. We have shown that this deficiency can be corrected. The programs described above calculate the required parameters very quickly. Jeigu šaudoma kalnuotoje vietovėje, kur aukščių skirtumas tarp šaulio ir taikinio siekia net šimtą metrų, reikia konkrečių įgūdžių. Galima sudaryti specifines šaudymo šaulių ginklais kalnuose lenteles. Minosvaidis yra santykinai paprastas ginklas, todėl jo valdymas nebūna kompiuterizuotas. Parodyta, kad šį trūkumą galima pataisyti. Aprašytos programos per kelias dešimtis sekundžių suskaičiuoja reikiamus parametrus. Paper deals with the building visual detection problem. Particular buildings which are important to government infrastructure must have additional security means including camouflage painting to disguise from aerial reconnaissance and observation. The approach for computer-generated camouflge pattern design is proposed. The novelty of the proposed method consists of the consideration of the camouflaged building and urban environment fusion effect in description of the multicolor camouflage effectivity. An analytical method for determination of building camouflage effectivity is presented. This method is constructed within the framework of visual detection probabilities. The proposed method is illustrated by the design of the camouflage drawing geometry and determination of the effectivity characteristics for prescribed observation range.

The aim of this research is to reduce a project development time and costs in building design and construction industry. It is performed by managing project technical documentation and digital data, which involves the complete life cycle of design documentation and design-related data inside CAD applications. Life cycle of design documentation and design-related data is achieved through the engineering document management system (EDM). EDM system founded on electronic archive system, which stores and distributes all technical information. The electronic archive is based on reference model for an Open Archival Information System (OAIS). As OAIS is a universal and uniform system, a technological development is required for customizing it to a specific industry (such as, building design and construction industry). Such development is presented in this work with an emphasis on management of projects document properties and their inheritance. The document properties play an important role in an archive, as they represent an instrument for performing any manipulations with a document (such as submission, distribution, search, modification and so on). Thus, any document placed in an archive has to be accompanied by document properties. This issue is addressed because the straightforward attachment of properties directly to a document introduces a lot of mistakes. This may lead to misplacement of document in archive system. Instead of this, in a proposed approach the properties were attached to the project structure (also called hierarchal tree). The previous developments in management Of electronic archive were focused on the automatization of data gathering, processing and submitting. It allows storing the technical documentation according to the rules, which were based on the flow of documentation in a building design company. It was insured by additional models enclosed into the system - now called the, ’monolithic archive". However, the growing requirements of engineers, and internal collaboration required across engineering departments, lead to the constant modification of "monolithic archive" and the basis of OAIS model. This introduces delays in engineering product design processes and requires an implementation of trainings and instructions. Therefore, the "monolithic" archive was fundamentally restructured rejecting all intermediate OAIS models. It was named as a "virtual" archive, since it operates from a "virtual" vault rather than a centralized vault.[...], Lietuviška santrauka. Projektavimo organizacijos galutinis rezultatas yra pateikiamas projektais. Tai techninės dokumentacijos visuma, atspindintį suprojektuotą objektą. Daugėjant atliekamų projektų per laiko vienetą, kyla sunkumų valdant projektavimo proceso metu sukuriamus informacijos srautus. Pasiekusi tam tikrą kritinę dokumentų išleidimo masę ir nieko nekeisdama, įmonė pradeda nebevaldyti projektavimo procesų, nuo ko nukenčia projektavimo kokybė, krinta produktyvumas ir įmonės rodikliai. Projekto valdymą galima apibūdinti kaip dokumentų gyvavimo ciklo kontrolę. Dokumentai sukuriami naudojant įvairią programinę įrangą ir jie yra elektroninės formos. Kol neišspęsta elektroninio parašo problema, paprastai dokumentai dubliuojami popierine forma. Dokumentai (t. y. bet kokia elektroninės formos duomenų byla: CAD sistemos brėžinys, elektroninė lentelė ir t. t.) turi savo gyvavimo ciklus ir jiems prižiūrėti yra formuojama tam tikra projektinės organizacijos struktūra ir veikimo taisyklės. Taip dokumentas pradeda savo gyvavimą tam tikrame organizacijos taške, vėliau „keliauja“ per numatytas organizacijos instancijas suderinti, papildyti, publikuojamas naudoti, „gula“ į archyvą ir vėl gali būti panaudotas kaip prototipas naujam dokumentui arba kitai versijai gauti. Šiems informaciniams srautams suvaldyti reikalingi sprendimai, kurie leistų šiuos duomenis optimaliai tvarkyti ir panaudoti kitose verslo srityse. Poreikis diegti naujas techninės dokumentacijos valdymo sistemas atsiranda naudojant kompiuterinio projektavimo technologijas, kurios leidžia kurti vis sudėtingesnius projektus. Kitas faktorius, verčiantis ieškoti naujų sistemų, - spartėjantis produkcijos atsinaujinimo poreikis. Apskaičiuota, kad konstruktorius didžiąją savo laiko dalį sugaišta ieškodamas reikiamo dokumento ir tik ketvirtadalį laiko užima pats darbas su dokumentu. Minėtiems sunkumams spręsti buvo pasitelkta techninės dokumentacijos valdymo sistema (toliau – EDM, Engineering Document Management). Tokiose sistemose vienas iš svarbiausių komponentų yra elektroninis archyvas. Elektroniniam archyvui konstruoti buvo pritaikytas atviros archyvavimo informacinės sistemos (OAIS) modelis. Tai yra universalus modelis, kuris gali būti plėtojamas norint jį pritaikyti konkrečioje pramonės šakoje, – statinių projektavimo ir gamybos įmonėje. A new digital signature based method for image authentication and pixel-wise tamper localization is proposed. The proposed method is resistant to image content preserving enhancement operations such as blurring or sharpening. Authentication function is implemented separately from tamper localization both to increase processing speed and to disable algorithmic oracle attack. Aprašomas naujas skaitmeninio parašo metodas, skirtas atvaizdo autentiškumui patikrinti ir potencialiems vaizdo pažeidimams lokalizuoti vieno pikselio tikslumu. Siūlomas metodas yra atsparus atvaizdo esmės neiškraipantiems pakeitimams, tokiems kaip ryškumo ar miglotumo didinimas ar mažinimas. Autentiškumo funkcija sukurta nepriklausomai nuo pažeidimų lokalizavimo, siekiant padidinti analizės greitį ir išvengti algoritminės orakulo atakos. The paper examines watermarking and digital signature based approaches for image authentication. It is shown that digital signature has a better performance at least in semi-blind watermarking case. Digital signature based method for image authentication and pixelwise tamper localization is proposed. The method is able to restore tampered pixels to initial value.

The problem of managing digital design data including drawings, specifications and other technical data in building design and construction units is a real challenge, especially when there is a need to structure the design information across building design companies. The main difficulty in this information management is the shortage of unified rules (or standards) concerning the ways how the digital design data should be gathered, archived, and preserved in the most efficient way for building design and construction units. The most important issue addressed in this work, is the standardised reference of all design data definitions., Lietuviška santrauka. Statinių projektavimo ir statybos įmonių didžiausia problema – įvairios techninės dokumentacijos valdymas. Jai valdyti reikalingi sprendimai, kurie leistų šiuos duomenis optimaliai tvarkyti ir panaudoti kitose verslo srityse. Pagrindinis sunkumas valdant techninę dokumentaciją – nebuvimas taisyklių, kaip projektavimo metu gimstančios informacijos srautai turi būti surenkami, tvarkomi, archyvuojami bei publikuojami projektų dalyviams įmonėje ir už jos ribų. Šio darbo tikslas – pateikti keletą taisyklių, kaip parengti statinių projektavimo bei statybos įmonės techninės dokumentacijos valdymo procesų optimizavimo programą.

Implementation of the modern information technologies in Engineering Graphics education provides a good foundation for acquisition of knowledge and skills which are necessary in engineering practice. In general, we seek to develop creative invention in future engineer: he should be not only a user of CAD systems, but he should have practice of customization of the CAD software to his specific needs. This will ensure "fluid adaptation of the contemporary engineer to change according to rapid development in technology. Therefore, there is of utmost importance to incorporate contemporary computer aided design technologies into teaching of engineering graphics. This paper focuses on a teaching methodology of engineering graphics within AutoCAD frameworks. Experience with visual programming languages indicates that visual languages for design might be able to provide the programming capabilities required for building parameterized designs, while at the same time integrating more closely with the drafting and solid modeling aspects of the computer design system. Support for parameterized designs is also provided in the AutoCAD, but it is quite rudimentary. AutoCAD supplies AutoLISP for programming. So the students develop the additional specialized command environment and applications of the parametric design strategy by applying AutoLISP programs. This approach enables us not only to teach students integration technologies with different commercial CAD software but this allows for students to create their own environment of the commands for computer design.

The algorithm of the stochastic model of combat is given in article. Random functions describing the basic processes of combat (movement of military personnel, detection of the enemy, firing and its results, etc.) are recorded. Corresponding mathematical expressions and numerical evaluations are given. Application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technologies and three-dimensional map in planning battle tactics are discussed., Lietuviška santrauka. Pateikiamas kovos veiksmus aprašančiojo stochastinio modelio aolgoritmas. Užrašomos atsitiktinės funkcijos, aprašančios pagrindinius kovos veiksmų procesus: karių judėjimą mūšio lauke, priešo aptikimą, šaudymą ir jo pasekmes (pataikė, nepataikė). Pateikiamos atitinkamos matematinės išraiškos, skaitmeniniai įvertinimai. Nagrinėjamos GIS programinės įrangos ir trimačio skaitmeninio žemėlapio panaudojimo galimybės, planuojant mūšio taktiką.

The new strategy for non-uniform initial FE mesh generation is presented in this paper.The main focus is set to a priori procedures that define the sizing funtion independent on the mesh generation algorithm. The sizing function used by the mesh generation algorithm is established by control sphere and control space concepts and fully controls mesh gradation in the complex 2D problem domains.
