Giriş: Bu çalışmada acil servis hekimlerinin empati ile duygusal emek düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Gereç-Yöntem: Kesitsel nitelikteki bu araştırma, eğitim ve araştırma hastanelerinin acil servisinde görev yapan 143 hekim ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada Jefferson Hekim Empati Ölçeği (JHEÖ) ve Duygusal Emek Ölçeği (DEÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizi SPSS ile yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada katılımcıların %74,8’i erkek (n=107), %60,8’i pratisyen hekim ya da asistan hekim (n=87), %71,4’ü evli (n=102), %41,3’ünün (n=59) gelirinin giderinden fazla olduğu bulunmuştur. Hekimlerin empati düzeyleri JHEÖ geneli için (70,5±12,5), yerine koyma için (36,6±5,2), duygusal yaklaşım için (33,9±7,8) olarak bulunmuştur. Duygusal emek düzeyi puanları ise DEÖ geneli için (33,6±4,4), yüzeysel rol yapma için (12,6±5,1), derinden rol yapma için (10,4±4,4), doğal duygular için (10,6±3,8) bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmamızda acil servis hekimlerinin empati düzeyi ortalamanın üzerinde, duygusal emek düzeyi ortalamanın altında bulunmuştur. Yüzeysel rol yapma alt boyutu düşük, derinden rol yapma ve doğal duygular alt boyutları yüksek bulunmuştur. Kadın doktorların erkek doktorlara, evlilerin bekarlara göre daha fazla empati kurduğu bulunmuştur. JHEÖ ve alt boyutlarının DEÖ geneli, derinden rol yapma, doğal duygular alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişkileri bulunurken, yüzeysel rol yapma alt boyutu ile ters yönde, zayıf düzeyde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur (p

Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine the job motivation and job engagement levels of nurses, to examine these variables according to sociodemographic characteristics, and to analyze the relationship between job motivation and job engagement. Materials-Methods: This descriptive study was conducted with nurses jobing in the intensive care units of a tertiary hospital. 200 nurses participated in the study and the participation rate was 59.6%. The survey method was used as the data collection method in the research, and the UWES-9 Utrecht Job Engagement Scale and the Multidimensional Job Motivation Scale were used. Analysis of the research data was made in SPSS 26 program. Results: It was found that the mean of the Nurses' Job Engagement Scale (3.40±0.84) and the Multidimensional Job Motivation Scale (3.72±0.80). There is a positive and significant relationship between job motivation and job engagement (p=0.000; r=0.438). Conclusion: The job motivation of the intensive care nurses was found to be moderate, and the level of job commitment was found to be high. It was found that job motivation explained 36.4% of job engagement. According to sociodemographic characteristics, there are significant differences in the levels of job motivation and job commitment.

The perinatal period is a period in which medication errors are common, and most of the errors are adverse events arising from high-risk drug use. Medication errors in the perinatal period pose serious risks in terms of maternal, fetal and neonatal. Therefore, drug safety has a special importance in this period. Nurses who play an active role in health care receive training on high-risk drugs such as anticoagulants, oxytocin, misoprostol and magnesium sulfate, which are frequently used in the perinatal period, act in accordance with standard protocols, adopt a zero tolerance approach, report medication errors and benefit from the opportunities of developing technology are important steps in ensuring drug safety. In this review, it is aimed to draw attention to the issue of drug safety in the perinatal period and to discuss the issue in line with the current literature.

Aim: The study was conducted to examine the relationship between the empathy levels of midwifery students and their awareness of privacy. Materials and methods: The study is descriptive and relationship-seeking in nature. The universe of the study included students who continue their education in the midwifery department in Turkey. The sample consisted of 211 students determined using the snowball sampling method. The data of the study were collected by interview method via WhatsApp and e-mail using the "Personal Information Form", "Empathetic Tendency Scale" and " Privacy Consciousness Scale". Descriptive and comparative statistics were employed to evaluate the study data. Results: It was determined that the mean age of the participants was 20.56 ± 2.45, the total mean score of the Empathic Tendency Scale was 71.33 ± 7.97, and the total mean score of the Privacy Consciousness Scale was 4.63 ± 0.37. Considering that the students take courses related to privacy, a statistically significant difference (p Conclusions: The data obtained in the current study suggest that there is a relationship between the empathic tendency of the students and the awareness of privacy.

Aim: With this study, it is aimed to investigate the opinions of the students studying at the vocational school of health services of a foundation university on laboratory safety and their behavior in complying with the laboratory working rules. Materials and Methods: The study is descriptive. Students who studying at vocational school of health services and receiving vocational training in school laboratories were included in the study. In the study, a questionnaire was prepared to determine the sociodemographic characteristics of the students as well as their level of knowledge about laboratory safety, and this form was used to collect the data. Percentage, frequency, and Chi-square analysis were used in the analysis of the data. Results: 336 students participated in this study. As a result of the evaluation of the data obtained, it was determined that 51.8% of the students had received training on laboratory safety before. It was determined that the knowledge level of the students about laboratory safety was related to the type of high school they graduated from (p ≤ 0.001), the department they studied (p = 0.013), their previous experience in the laboratory environment (p ≤ 0.001) and their status of receiving laboratory safety training (p ≤ 0.001). Conclusion: It has been determined that the views and behaviors of the students within the scope of the research on laboratory safety vary depending on whether they have received training on the subject before, and they also need information on laboratory safety.

Background: Obesity has emerged as an important health problem affecting the whole world in recent years. In this study, it was aimed to examine the obesity awareness of university students studying in the field of health. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted with 378 students, studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences of a foundation university, between April-May 2022. The participation rate for the questionnaire is 62%. Questionnaire method was used as data collection tool. The Obesity Awareness Scale (OAS) was used to determine students' awareness of obesity. Results: The age range of the students is 18-35 years and the mean age is 20.71±2.13. 67% of the participants are under the age of 21 and 68.8% are women. 30.1% use cigarettes and 23.3% use alcohol. It was found that 68% of them do not exercise regularly, 80% of them sleep between 6-8 hours, half of them use the internet 4-6 hours a day. 12.2% of the participants were overweight and 5.1% were obese. It was found that the participants got points for obesity awareness (29.13±2.63), nutrition (20.40±2.31), physical activity (17.45±1.90) and overall scale (66.98±7.26). Conclusions: Obesity awareness of the participants is sufficient. Awareness of women and those who exercise regularly is higher than men and those who do not exercise regularly. Trainings about obesity should be organized to increase the awareness of these students, who are the health workers of the future. &nbsp

Bu araştırmada, hemşirelerin presenteeisme yönelik davranışlarını belirlemek ve bu davranışlarda etkili olan faktörleri ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini özel bir hastanede görev yapan, çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden hemşireler oluşturmuştur (n=201). Araştırma verileri bireysel ve mesleki özellikleri belirleme formu ve Stanford Presenteizm Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmada yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizinde KMO 0.623, Cronbach's Alpha 0,641 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %30,3’ü erkek, %69,7’si kadındır. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %53,2’si hasta olsalar dahi işlerindeki zor görevleri tamamlayabildikleri, %50,7’si görevlerini yerine getirmeye odaklanabildikleri görülmüştür. İşlerini tamamlayabilecek kadar kendilerini enerjik hissetme oranı %23,9, iş stresiyle başa çıkmada zorlanırım oranı %18,9, görevimi tamamlama konusunda umutsuzluğa kapılabilirim oranı %17,9, işimi yapmaktan zevk almam sorusunun katılıyorum oranı ise % 42,8’dir. Bu oranların düşük düzeylerde çıkması hemşirelerin hastayken işlerini yapmakta zorlandıklarından, presenteeism sorunu yaşadıkları görülmektedir. The sample of the study consisted of nurses working in a private hospital who agreed to participate in our study (n=201). Research data were collected using the individual and Professional characteristics determination form and the Stanford Presenteism Scale. In the confirmatory factor analysis, KMO was 0.623 and Cronbach's Alpha was 0.641.30.3% of the nurses participating in there search are male and 69.7% are female. The presenteeism behavior levels of the nurses who participated in the survey were found to be at a statistically significant level. Eventhough 53.2% of the nurses were sick, it was observed that they could complete the difficult tasks in their jobs, and 50.7% could focus on fulfilling their duties. The rate of feeling energetic enough to complete their work is 23.9%, the rate of having difficulty in coping with work stress is 18.9%, the rate of feeling hopeless about completing my task is 17.9%, and the rate of agreeing with the question of whether I enjoy doing my job is 42.8%. The fact that the serates are low, it is seen that the nurses have a problem of presenteeism as they have difficulty in doing their jobs while they are sick. While statistically significant differences were observed between gender, marital status, age, working hours, income levels and presenteeism scale questions, no significant differences were observed in education status.

Introduction: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and gender role attitudes in nurses.Methods: The study was conducted with 261 nurses working in a university hospital between February and May 2019. Data were collected using the Individual and Professional Characteristics Information Form, the Intrinsic Motivation Scale (IMS), and the Gender Roles Attitude Scale (GRAS). Number percent distribution, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis analysis of variance, Correlation analysis and Simple Linear Regression analysis were used in the analysis of the dataResults: The mean score of the intrinsic motivation sub-dimension of the nurses was 4.25±0.60; The mean GRAS score was found to be 158.40±22.14. It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean intrinsic motivation score of the nurses according to the duration of working in the unit and their willingness to work in the unit (p0.05).Conclusion: The results obtained from this study showed that the intrinsic motivation level of nurses was high. Although the nursing profession is mostly preferred by women; It was concluded that having a traditional and egalitarian attitude towards gender roles did not affect the intrinsic motivation level of nurses., Amaç: Bu çalışmada hemşirelerde içsel motivasyonun toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumu ile ilişkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma Şubat-Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında bir üniversite hastanesinde çalışan 261 hemşire ile yürütülmüştür. Verilerin analizinde sayı yüzde dağılımı, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis Varyans analizi, Korelasyon analizi ve Basit Doğrusal Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Hemşirelerin içsel motivasyon alt boyut puan ortalaması 4.25±0.60; TCRTÖ puan ortalaması ise 158.40±22.14 olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin birimde çalışma süresi ve birimde isteyerek çalışma durumlarına göre içsel motivasyon puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır (p0.05). Sonuç: Bu çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar hemşirelerin içsel motivasyon düzeyinin yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Hemşirelik mesleği en çok kadınlar tarafından tercih edilmesine karşın; toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin geleneksel ve eşitlikçi tutuma sahip olmanın hemşirelerin içsel motivasyon düzeyini etkilemediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Amaç: Araştırma, hemşirelerin sanal kaytarma davranış düzeylerini belirmek ve hemşirelerin sanal kaytarma davranışlarını sosyo-demografik özelliklere göre incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan çalışma Ankara’da yer alan özel bir hastanede gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden gönüllü 206 hemşireden oluşmuştur. Veriler Sosyodemografik Özellikler Formu ve Sanal Kaytarma Davranışı Ölçeği (SKDÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 20 programında değerlendirilmiş, istatistiksel analizde bağımsız örneklemlerde t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Hemşirelerin SKDÖ’nün Önemsiz Sanal Kaytarma alt boyutu puan ortalaması 3,17±0,85 bulunurken Önemli Sanal Kaytarma alt boyut puan ortalaması 2,84±0,81 bulunmuştur. Aim: The purpose of this descriptive study is to determine the attitudes of nurses regarding efficiency and to examine nurses' attitudes towards efficiency according to some of their individual and professional characteristics.Material and Method: The study was conducted in a public hospital and a private hospital in Ankara. The study was completed with 270 nurses who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. After obtaining the necessary permissions, the data were collected using the Nurses’ Personal and Professional Characteristics Form and Nurses' Attitudes towards Productivity Scale. The data were evaluated in the SPSS 16.0 program. Discontinuous data are shown with the number and percentages and continuous data with median, mean and standard deviation. Mann Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used for statistical analysis.Results: It was found that the total score average of the nurses (47.74 ± 8.51) obtained from the scale was slightly below the medium level, and the highest score average (65.12 ± 18.98) from the “Professional Commitment” sub-dimension. On the other hand, it was determined that they had the lowest mean score (30.91 ± 17.72) in the “working conditions” sub-dimension.Conclusion: The findings obtained from this study show that nurses are in a good position in terms of commitment to the profession regarding attitudes towards productivity, while they show that they are negative about working conditions. SağlıkÇalışanlarının kaliteye ilişkin algılarının ve bu algıyı etkileyen etmenlerinbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel tasarımda gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırmanın örneklemini Ankara ilinde kalite belgesi alan beş hastanede görevyapan 24 sağlık çalışanı oluşturmuştur. Veri toplamaaracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan açık uçlu 10 sorukullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri NVivo 12 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; sağlık çalışanlarıyla yapılangörüşmelerde; kalite çalışmalarının iş yükünü artırdığı ve bu iş yükünün büyükkısmını hemşirelerin üstlendiğini, personel kariyer geliştirme ve performansdeğerlendirme sistemine katkı sağlamadığını belirlenmiştir. Kalite belgesi olanhastanelerde sağlık çalışanları kalite çalışmalarının hasta açısından olumlubir etkiye sahip olduğunu ifade ederken, çalışanlar açısından olumlu birfarklılık olmadığını ifade etmişlerdir.

Thepurpose of the study is to determine the transition process of healthcareprofessionals, who had worked in clinics as doctors, nurses and physiotherapistsbefore and then resigned and begun to work as university instructors, touniversities, as well as factors affecting these processes. In the study, theinstructors 7 of whom work in the department of nursing and health services, 3in the department ofphysiotherapy-rehabilitation and 2 in the medical faculty were asked questionsprepared via stylistic interview method, which is among qualitative researchmethods. Content analysis was applied to the data acquired via stylisticinterview method. Analyses in the studywere carried out using the NVivo 12 ProNitel Data Analysis Software. As aresult of the analyses, it was determined that clinics and universities variedaccording to their working conditions and mobbing statuses; however, there wasnot much difference in terms of wage. It was found that the reasons oftransition to universities arised from factors such as difficult workingconditions, workload, personal development; clinics and universities had tocooperate and academicians with clinical experience would be more effective onstudents., Çalışmanınamacı daha önce kliniklerde doktor, hemşire ve fizyoterapist olarak çalışandaha sonra istifa ederek üniversitelerde öğretim elemanı olan sağlıkçalışanlarının üniversiteye geçiş süreçleri ve bu süreçlerini etkileyenetmenleri belirlemektir. Araştırmada 7tanesi hemşirelik ve sağlık hizmetleri bölümünde, 3 tanesi fizyoterapi-rehabilitasyonbölümünde ve 2 tanesi de tıp fakültesinde görev yapan öğretim elemanlarınanitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biçimsel mülakat yöntemiyle hazırlanan sorularsorulmuştur. Biçimsel mülakat yöntemiyle elde edilen verilere içerik analiziuygulanmıştır. Araştırmada NVivo 12 ProNitel Veri Analiz Programı kullanılarakanalizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda klinikler veüniversitelerin çalışma şartları ve mobing durumlarına göre farklılıkgösterdiği, ücret açısından çok fazla bir farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Üniversiteleregeçiş nedenlerinin çalışma şartlarının zorluğu, iş yoğunluğu, kişisel gelişim,vb etkenlerden kaynaklandığı, kiliniklerle üniversitelerin iş birliği yapmalarıgerektiği ve klinik deneyimi olan akademisyenlerin öğrenciler üzerinde dahaetkili olabileceği belirlenmiştir.

Araştırmanın sonucunda; sağlık çalışanlarıyla yapılan görüşmelerde; kalite çalışmalarının iş yükünü artırdığı ve bu iş yükünün büyük kısmını hemşirelerin üstlendiğini, personel kariyer geliştirme ve performans değerlendirme sistemine katkı sağlamadığını belirlenmiştir. Kalite belgesi olan hastanelerde sağlık çalışanları kalite çalışmalarının hasta açısından olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğunu ifade ederken, çalışanlar açısından olumlu bir farklılık olmadığını ifade etmişlerdir.

Araştırma, sağlık çalışanlarının kalite algılarının belirlenmesine yönelik bir ölçeğin geliştirilmesi amacıyla metodolojik tasarımda, hemşirelerin kaliteye ilişkin algılarının ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi açısında da tanımlayıcı ve karşılaştırmalı tasarımda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma iki aşamalı olup birinci aşamada 30 sağlık çalışanı ile bireysel derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmış ve 77 maddelik taslak ölçek oluşturulmuştur.`Kalite Algı Ölçeği`nin sağlık çalışanları ile yapılan geçerlik güvenirlik çalışması sonucunda, 70 maddelik ve 5'li Likert şeklinde puanlanan ölçeğin madde toplam puan korelasyonları .41 ile .68 arasında değiştiği, yapı geçerliği için yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizinde ise ölçeğin `yönetim ve liderlik`, `insan kaynakları kullanımı`,`kalite eğitimi`, `ölçme ve değerlendirme`, `kurum yararı`, `çalışan yararı` ve `hasta yararı` olmak üzere yedi alt boyuta ayrıldığı belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısının toplamda .90 alt boyutlarda ise .78 ile .97 arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ölçek puanının yükselmesi kalite algısının olumlu olduğu şeklinde değerlendirilmektedir. Geçerlik güvenirlik sonrasında ölçeğin sağlık çalışanlarının kalite algılarını ölçmeye yönelik geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında ise; `kalite belgesi alan hastanelerde hemşirelerin kalite algısı ve bunları etkileyen faktörler` belirlenmiştir. Ankara ilinde yer alan beş hastanede (üniversite, özel ve devlet hastanesi) görevli 301 hemşireden veri toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 70 maddelik `kalite algı ölçeği` ve kişisel soru formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri istatistik danışman desteğinde SPSS.20 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; hemşirelerin Kalite Algı Ölçeği'nden aldıkları toplam puan ortalamasının en yüksek `Kalite Eğitimi` ( =65,95±13,61) alt boyutu ve en düşük `İnsan Kaynakları Kullanımı` ( =58,12±16,76) alt boyutu olduğu saptanmıştır. Beklentilerin yükselmesi, hizmet kalitesinde yüksek bir standardın yakalanması ve bu doğrultuda sağlık bakımının güvenli olmasını hedeflemektedir.Ülkemizde bu amaçlara yönelik olarak hastanelerde kalite çalışmalarından yürütülmektedir. Bu kalite sistemlerinde biri olan ISO-9000 grubu kalite yönetim standartlarının hasta memnuniyetini artırması beklenmektedir.Bu araştırma ISO 9001:2000 kalite yönetim belgesi olan Ankara ilinde Sağlık Bakanlığına bağlı Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi ve bu belgeye sahip olmayan Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde hemşirelerin hasta bakım kalitesine yönelik algılarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Veri toplamak amacıyla kalite belgeli hastanede 147, kalite belgesiz hastanede 128 hemşireye anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 15,0 programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.Bu araştırma sonuçlarına göre; ISO 9001:2000 kalite yönetim belgesinin hasta-merkezli bakım anlayışını yeterince karşılamadığı, kalite belgeli ve belgesiz hastaneler arasında araştırmaya katılan hemşire algılarında hasta bakımına yansıyan önemli farklılıklar olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kalite, Kalite Belgelendirme, Hasta Bakım Kalitesi, Hemşire, ISO 9001:2000 In the health sector in recent years at the beginning of changes in patient-centered approach is to draw attention. For this purpose in our country in hospitals, quality studies are conducted. This is one of the quality system ISO-9000 group of standards for quality management is expected to increase patient satisfaction.This study documents to ISO 9001:2000 quality management of the Ministry of Health Training and Research Hospital, and do not have this document in Training and Research Hospital of the nurse to patient perception of quality of care to determine the identifier is in. To gather quality data on certified hospitals at 147 nurses, at 128 nurses without quality certificate in the Hospitals to the questionnaires were applied.
