(p. 1) -- Connie Cooke accepts a glass of punch from Candy Mayse during one the women's fall rush parties, while Devorah Reddick looks on. Women's formal rush started Sept. 13 with the prospective rushees meeting with Dean Eicholtz, and ended tuesday afternoon with the picking up of bids. There were a series of two parties, one casual, and one formal tea during this semester's rush. With the picking up of bids, open rush begins for upperclass women. (p. 1). STUART McRAE, popular college chaplain, seems to be saying, "Lord, please deliver us from that photographer." The picture was taken during a Sunday morning worship service, one which shows the high attendance at these convocations. (p. 3). President, after receiving the I.F.C. academic trophy for his group. the 16 man social fraternity was highest among the 11 campus fraternities, having had a 2.628 pledge and active grade average for the spring semester. Alpha Gamma Delta was the recipient for the fourth consecutive semester of the Panhellenic Council rose bowl for academic excellence with a 3.113 average. (p. 4).
