The sharing economy has experienced significant growth over the past decade. This phenomenon has introduced a new way of consuming services and goods. Nevertheless, while its benefits have been extensively studied, there is a limited understanding of its implications across various sectors.

The aim of this research is to study the influence of factors affecting the efficiency of resource consumption under the sustainability policy based on using the DSEM-ARIMA (Dyadic Structural Equation Modeling based on the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) model. The study is performed using the Thailand experience. The research findings indicate that continuous economic growth aligns with the country's objectives, directly contributing to continuous social growth. This aligns with the country's efficient planning. It demonstrates that the management aligns with the goal of achieving Thailand 5.0. Furthermore, considering the environmental aspect, it is found that economic and social growth directly impacts the ecological aspect due to the significant influence of resource consumption in the construction. The resource consumption in construction shows a growth rate increase of 264.59% (2043/2024), reaching 401.05 ktoe (2043), which exceeds the carrying capacity limit set at 250.25 ktoe, resulting in significant long-term environmental degradation. Additionally, considering the political aspect, it is found to have the greatest influence on the environment, exacerbating environmental damage beyond current levels. Therefore, the DSEM-ARIMA model establishes a new scenario policy, indicating that resource consumption in construction leads to environmental degradation reduced to 215.45 ktoe (2043), which does not exceed the carrying capacity. Thus, if this model is utilized, it can serve as a vital tool in formulating policies to steer the country's growth toward Thailand 5.0 effectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose is to identify the key employability determinants for young Ukrainian migrants with tertiary education in light of the changing labour market conditions caused by the war. Design/methodology/approach. This paper conducts a structural and dynamic analysis of market changes in Ukraine and the countries hosting Ukrainian refugees, namely Poland and Germany, due to the war. The key determinants influencing the demand for professionals with tertiary education are identified through an analysis of job vacancies on employment websites in Ukraine, Poland, and Germany. Findings. Amidst a shrinking labour force in Ukraine due to migration and a shortage of vacancies, there is a noticeable increase in employability in the labour markets in Poland and Germany. The growth is particularly evident among females and in the service sphere, especially within the IT sphere. An analysis of employment websites in Ukraine, Poland, and Germany has identified the key determinants of demand for young professionals. The primary employability characteristics of Ukrainian migrants include professional skills, particularly digital skills relevant to specific jobs, as well as soft skills. These requirements differ by profession and country. In Poland, there are lower requirements for formal recognition of higher education diplomas in certain professions. However, employers, as in Germany, significantly emphasise on professional experience. Originality. Under the conditions of war and significant structural transformations in the labour markets in Ukraine and the countries hosting Ukrainian migrants, this study investigates the current employability changes among job seekers. Our research contributes to the understanding of labour markets by identifying key determinants of professional success for migrants with tertiary education, which can also act as an obstacle to integration into the host countries' labour markets if the required competencies are lacking. [Display omitted] In line with achieving the objectives of COP27 and SDG7, this paper examines the interdependence of the Artificial Intelligence market, clean energy, and conventional energy markets from 19th December 2017 to 5th May 2023 by using Cross-Quantilogram (CQ) and Wavelet Locale Multiple correlations (WLMC) techniques. Heatmaps of CQ show a bidirectional relationship between the AI market and clean energy at lag one with negative cross-quantile dependence evident throughout most quantiles, especially in normal market conditions. It also indicates a positive relationship between AI return rates and the clean energy market, but only when both datasets are in the same extreme quantiles (10th and 90th). Additionally, WMLC results reveal that time, scale, and investment horizons influence the interaction between AI and clean and non-clean energy industries. A considerable positive association exists between the AI market and traditional energy markets, ranging from 0.6 to 0.8. However, during the pandemic, this dependency turned negative, and it has since been minor, with an uptick in co-movement during Russia – Ukraine conflict. The present study explores the impact of energy natural resource productivity and environmental tax on environmental sustainability in six major CO2‐emitting economies: the Euro Area, China, South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, from 1997 to 2019. This analysis aims to reveal novel findings and implications for different energy natural resource productivity types and environmental regulations. We employed data regarding leading national and regional CO2 emitters from 1997 to 2020 to conduct an empirical analysis using the panel non‐linear auto‐regressive distributed lag (NARDL) and panel quantile ARDL (QARDL) methods. The results show that energy natural resource productivity and environmental tax are crucial components in reducing CO2 emissions by controlling for innovation technology and renewable energy consumption. The main findings demonstrate that the impact is stronger in the presence of increased energy natural resource productivity and vice versa. Among the efforts to create a company brand, the development of a successful employer brand is today not only a sign of a socially responsible business, but also a tool to achieve competitive advantages in the labour market, expand employment opportunities, and retain the best employees. The key values that influence the intention to join a company vary among different groups of employees, which must be taken into account when creating a successful employer value proposition (EVP). The purpose of this study is to assess the differences between the key values of employed and potential workers whose work is most on demand in the labour market (generations Y and Z, with higher education and those who obtain higher education). The research was conducted on the basis of a sociological survey of a representative sample of respondents (510 respondents). The main differences in the perception of the employer’s brand are identified by gender (higher value of safety in the workplace for women, and opportunities for personal development for men), as well as in the groups selected by the availability of experience: pay is valued highest by respondents with work experience; for those who have no work experience, the employer’s brand reputation is a more important factor. There are also significant differences in assessments of the importance of workplace safety, professional development, comfortable environment, and work-life balance.

Purpose: In order to make an informed choice of the most effective tools for ensuring the development of a competitive economy, it is important to take into account the links between macroeconomic indicators of progress and the most important components of knowledge management. In this regard, the aim of our study is to assess the relationship between knowledge management factors and economic growth in order to select the factors that most determine the positive changes in Gross national income per capita.

The paper considers the role of the development of corporate social responsibility of Ukrainian nuclear energy producers to ensure the effective functioning of this industry. National sustainable development in all social and economic spheres depends heavily on effective employee management where safety plays the main role. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the development of corporate social responsibility in NNEGC “Energoatom” and identify reserves for improving enterprise employee management. To achieve this goal, the method of SPACE analysis has been modified, because this tool is traditionally used as a method of strategic management. A system of 23 indicators has been developed to evaluate the level of corporate social responsibility in NNEGC Energoatom. Four groups of factors were identified, each of them was assessed by a set of relevant indicators. The article covers the activities of the enterprise during 2016-2020. On the basis of mathematical calculations, the SPACE-analysis matrix is constructed and the strategy of corporate social responsibility development is defined. The evaluation of the level of corporate social responsibility in NNEGC Energoatom indicates a high level of CSR. Despite the effective corporate social responsibility policy in NNEGC Energoatom, some problems still exist. The analysis allowed identifying the ways to improve the corporate social responsibility of nuclear energy producers, particularly to ensure a competitive salary, increase the level of occupational safety, improve the internal communication system. The practical value of the analysis lies in the fact that the modified method of SPACE-analysis can be used to evaluate the corporate social responsibility in different types of enterprises with different aims and objectives.

The transition to low‐carbon energy and energy independence of a country play an important role in the sustainable development of its energy sector. Another important issue of sustainable energy development is the cost competitiveness in the generation process; with new renewable energy technologies, a sustainable energy transition to carbon‐neutral society is possible. In this article, we present a view of sustainable energy transformation based on a case study of Malta. We have created a simulation of a Maltese electricity system with projected growth and dominance of photovoltaic energy in the electricity market. The study results suggest that a system with a high penetration of photovoltaics has significant advantage over a conventional system using fossil fuels. In particular, in the simulated Maltese system, the total annual cost of energy was reduced threefold, the CO2 emissions were reduced by 40%, and the energy independence of Malta increased by 60%. Personnel risk significantly affects the operation of small and medium-sized enterprises. The aim of the paper is to define and present significant factors affecting the perception of personnel risk in the SME segment, and compare the current status and development in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The empirical research was conducted in 2020 in the SME segment in the Czech Republic and Slovakia via an online questionnaire, using a sample of 822 respondents. The obtained data were evaluated using the Chí square and Z score. Personnel risk significantly affects the SME segment and its business activities. This risk is perceived as the most significant business risk in both countries, even though its intensity is moderate and does not have a heavy negative impact on SMEs’ activities. The overall evaluation of personnel risk’s impact on SMEs’ activities is similar in both countries. The evaluation of employee turnover was relatively positive, as a considerable part of entrepreneurs stated that turnover is low and does not have a negative impact on their business. The evaluation of turnover was similar in both countries. Based on entrepreneurs’ statements, there are certain gaps in employee error rate, which affects their business. Slovak entrepreneurs provided a worse evaluation of the quality of their employees than the Czech entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs in both countries are dissatisfied with the way their employees strive to improve their performance or how they compete among each other. The comparison based on business size and age did not yield significant differences, nor did it provide a clear trend despite the general belief presented in literature that larger enterprises have a better access to important fields of business management.

The study aims to investigate the role of leadership in creativity development, including opportunities arising from the attractiveness of countries for intellectual migrants. Using the authors’ approach for assessing leadership development in the European Union, it is found that the leading positions belong to Finland with an integral index value of 0.85, Denmark (0.83), and the Netherlands (0.76). To test hypotheses about the significant influence of leadership on the attractiveness of countries for intellectual migrants and creativity development, correlation analysis was used. Creativity development was analysed based on the most frequently used indicators of creative economics dynamics. Besides, it was considered that the most obvious result of creative thinking is the innovation development of the countries. The resulting pairwise correlation coefficients for the European Union show a strong relationship between the level of leadership and a country’s ability to attract (0.73) and retain talent (0.80). A positive impact of leadership on creativity development is confirmed by the links with the overall value of the Global Innovation Index (0.79), the growth of innovative companies (0.81), creative outputs (0.58), and cultural employment (0.68). The obtained results prove the need for the development of leadership competencies as an important driver of creativity, talent attraction and generation of innovative solutions. Digital technologies have revolutionized the tourism industry, offering tourists unprecedented access to information, bookings, and immersive experiences. The paper's main purpose is to investigate the influence of digital technologies on tourists' decision-making processes and travel experiences in Armenia. The data are based on a survey done among 385 respondents. Findings reveal widespread adoption of digital platforms among tourists in Armenia, contributing positively to their travel experiences. Pearson Chi-square testing reveals a significant relationship among some factors. According to the results, 65.7% plan entertainment in the destination by using the Internet to find out about the main attractions in advance. More than 70% get travel information from Facebook and Instagram. People evaluate digital technologies' impact on their travel experience with an average of 4.28 (1-5 (the best) scale). The Customer satisfaction score is 80.4 %. The main problems are connected with fake information, technical issues, differences in online and offline prices, hotel room pictures, etc. The research underscores the importance of continuous advancements in digital infrastructure and services to further enhance Armenia's tourism sector. Research background: In the light of growing demand for highly skilled workers, driven by rapid changes in the labour market and business environment, the ability to attract the talented determines not only business performance, but also macroeconomic development prospects. This stimulates national governments to create positive conditions for the development and use of the human capital of migrants. One of the most important factors of brain gain can be country stability as a sign of a comfortable environment for the realisation of intellectual potential. Purpose of the article: The study aims to investigate the links between the factors of country's resilience and brain gain, including its partial indicators. Methods: For a comprehensive assessment, migration indicators were used by categories of talented migrants: highly educated workers, foreign entrepreneurs, university students and start-up founders that we integrated into an integral index of intellectual migration. The data was collected for OECD countries for 2023. The authors used the methods of statistical and correlation-regression analysis, economic-mathematical modelling in the GRETL software environment. Findings & value added: Research has shown that the components of country's resilience (especially Economic resilience and Supply chain) have a positive effect on brain gain. Considering the partial indicators of brain gain, it is found that resilience in the country of destination has the greatest influence on the migration decisions of highly educated workers and foreign entrepreneurs, i.e. migrants with a positive experience of economic activity and entrepreneurial capital, which, in turn, strengthens the resilience and competitiveness of countries. Such conclusions are important for the improvement of brain gain management programs in terms of the development of the environment for the attraction and retention of talents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
