Introduction: The main function of human hearing is enabling oral communication. In this sense, hearing loss impairs severely communication skills and social relationships of individuals. Therefore, the project "USP in Rondônia" of FOB/USP conducts expeditions travelling to the municipality from Monte Negro/RO allowing the promotion of hearing health. Objective: To assess the level of satisfaction user with hearing aids (HA). Method: Was accomplished a prospective study of 18 individuals with hearing loss fitted with hearing aids in the Clinic of Oral and Fono Audiological Health from Monte Negro/RO. For the evaluation, we used the questionnaire for self-assessment IOI-HA (International Outcome Inventory for Hearing Aids). Results: Concerning the seven domains assessed, it was verified that the average referring to the use was 4.2, the benefit was 3.9, the limiting of residual activity was 3.7; the satisfaction was 4.4, the restriction of participation of residual activity was 3.8, the impact on others was 4.3 and 3.9 for the quality of life. Respecting the factors one and two, it was applied the statistical test t-Student founding no statistically significant difference. However, the analysis of the score relative to factors one and two showed good results as the individual's interaction with his hearing aid and with their environment, respectively. Conclusion: With this study, we can demonstrate the high grade of satisfaction from the use of hearing aids presented by the majority of the sample collected in all domains analyzed.

Introduction: Musculoskeletal-related chronic pain is one of the most disabling in the world, with knee osteoarthrosis (OA) being one of the main causes of functional limitation and chronic pain among people over 45 years of age. In view of this, the expansion of telehealth services, including telerehabilitation, allows less restricted access to health services, reducing expenses and saving time. Purpose: The aim of the study was to verify the barriers to the implementation of telerehabilitation in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal diseases compared to face-to-face rehabilitation. Data Source: The data were obtained from PubMed, Scopus, the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Cochrane, and the Web of Science databases. Methods: This systematic review followed PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines to answer the PICOT question, "What are the barriers to implementing a telerehabilitation program for older people with knee osteoarthritis?". The risk of bias was analyzed using the Review Manager program (RevMan). A search for articles was conducted and included only randomized clinical trials with older people with knee OA, selected by two blinded authors, according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, without publication time restriction, in the PROSPERO registry CRD42022316488. Results: The barriers to telerehabilitation have been overcome with the diversification of means of communication, the various possible ways of monitoring these patients from a distance, and the scheduling of face-to-face assessments and reassessments. The results presented in this review indicate that the barriers to implementing treatment protocols have been overcome, leading to clinical results which showed that there were no differences between the telerehabilitation and face-to-face groups for the clinical condition investigated. Conclusion: The barriers to telerehabilitation, which were more related to Internet access, telecommunication devices, personal relationships, and adequate monitoring of the exercise protocol, were overcome by diversifying the means of communication and delivering the exercise protocol for the implementation of telerehabilitation. Purpose: Elaborate a didactic multimedia material, specific in the audiology field, about ear mold theme, which could be utilized after wards in a Distance Learning Program, and also evaluate its effectiveness as a didactic material. Methods: Ten students of the 2nd year of undergraduate course in speech Pathology/Audiology from Bauru College of Dentistry -- USP Two evaluation were planned: a written evaluation given through a multiple choice questionnaire applied before and after the test, and a practical evaluation, comprised of the impression of an ear mold and the analysis and resolution of 4 clinic cases. Therefore, a comparative evaluation of the questionnaire before and after test joined with the student's practical evaluation, contributed to the discussion of the didactic material effectiveness. Results: According to the results of the written evaluation, a significant difference was indicated by statistical analysis before and after the test. The results of the practical evaluation showed that the students realized the impression of the ear mold adequately, as well as the problems related to the clinic cases. Conclusion: the findings demonstrated that the CD ROM could be used as a didactic material, adequately aiding the student in the learning process, proving its effectiveness as a didactic material.
