The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a new 10-year cardiovascular risk prediction recommendation known as the WHO Cardiovascular Risk Chart 2019 (WHO CRC). However, there is currently no assessment available regarding the relationship between ASCVD classic and occupational profiles to WHO CRC, specifically in occupational settings and in the context of the Indonesian Heart Association's (IHA) adjusted version of the WHO CRC for South-East Asia (WHO CRC-INA). This study aims to fill this gap by examining the relationship between classic (Atherosclerosis Cardiovascular Disease) ASCVD and occupational profiles within the oil and gas industry, specifically the WHO CRC-INA. This study is analytical cross-sectional research data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and logistic regression, with a significance level of P < 0.05. The research using total sampling method amounted to 240 workers from January to May 2022 of Medical Check Up (MCU) in a major oil and gas company. The ASCVD risk measurement instrument uses the final score of the WHO CRC-INA, grouped into low- and medium-high risk. Analysis showed that occupational profiles had a relationship with WHO CRC-INA medium-high risk, as seen in the bivariate analysis for shift work and work type (P = 0.018; OR = 2,045) had a relationship with WHO CRC-INA medium-high risk. The aim of this article is to review the role that emotions play in populism, specifically ressentiment, and how it is strategically used on social media platforms to create polarization. Firstly, I define the two of the main characteristics that populism has had over time: the agonistic struggle between a people and an elite, and charismatic leadership. Secondly, I examine the significance of resentment as a political emotion and how it operates in extreme right-wing populism. Thirdly, I review how resentment has been applied in the context of social media and how these platforms offer the most effective means to generate social mobilization based on emotions through storytelling, which can anticipate the reactions of the public or users. The article examines the impact of the new geopolitical and economic realities, in which Russia exists after 2020–2022, on the country’s publishing system. The comparative dynamics of book publishing indicators for the market as a whole and for its main segments in recent years is provided. The ratio of new editions and reprints, as well as books by domestic authors and translated literature is analyzed. The imbalance in the repertoire policy of Russian publishing houses in favor of foreign literary products is shown, and ways to overcome it are proposed.

An invitation to deliver the 2023 Richard M. Dorson Memorial Lecture at Indiana University's Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology inspired Dr. Maggie Holtzberg to critically reflect on thirty-four years of working as a public sector folklorist. Here, in an edited transcript of the lecture, Holtzberg highlights some of the joys and challenges of working as a public sector folklorist in Alabama, Georgia, and Massachusetts over the last three decades. She touches on the many hats worn on the job as state folklorist--ethnographic fieldworker/filmmaker, photographer, sound recordist, archivist, writer, grants administrator, concert and festival producer, and exhibit curator. Aided by still images and film excerpts, she shares lessons learned along the way, like the importance of being a generalist, equitable public funding of individuals, why archival best practice matters, and, given that many people feel duty bound to pass on what they know, how apprenticeship programs can bolster the faithful transmission of traditional knowledge, skills, and artistry. This article addresses a folk saint and procession, arguing that they are, respectively, an object and medium of becoming. People realize this creative capacity with identification of the folk saint's iconicity that possesses a characteristic of duality, contradiction, and ambiguity--human and divine, living and dead. In one respect, this characteristic is unique to the folk saint and in another, signals a quality of secular life that shows in verbal expression and enactments, referencing Mexico's version of modernity experienced through work in regional industries and abroad. The procession simulates a walk through secular life, whereby people release themselves from this duality by transferring it to the folk saint. They achieve liberty to engage their bodies as they want, supportive and constitutive of one another. The argument responds to scholarship that addresses folk saints for their symbolism of parts of secular life and to an elite, Mexican discourse that defines folklife, inclusive of the rural peasantry who reside in villages called ranchos, as a national symbol, neglecting to explore people's expression of themselves and their communities., This article is about a folk saint, procession, and el rancho. This article will specifically consider how artistic representations of Berta's death contributed to reinforcing the legend of his murder and with what aims. Nobel laureate Prof. Abdulrazak Gourna was invited by Qatar University Press and warmly welcomed by the audience of the Doha International Book Fair. The long interview focused on the relationship between the author and publisher and responsibilities of the author to represent the concerns of his local culture on a world stage. Here, the significance of translation was apparent as well as direct communication between author and audiences worldwide. His African, Arabic, and Islamic roots contributed to the rich heritage of Prof. Gurnah, whose novels unravel this complexity of identities. The dialogue was enriched by a discussion on how the author as a novelist and academic dealt with postcolonialism and the evil of colonialism.
