3. The Effect of Acceptance and Commitment Group Therapy on the Psychological Well-being and Happiness of Children of Divorce

The aim of this study was to ascertain the effect of Acceptance and Commitment Group Therapy on the psychological well-being and happiness of Divorce Children. The design of this study was practical and quasi-experimental, with pretest-posttest follow-up and a control group. The study’s statistical population comprised all children of divorce aged 13 to 17 who had access to the social networks Instagram, WhatsApp, and Telegram in Iran in 2022. Convenience sampling was employed to select thirty individuals, who were then randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy was administered to the experimental group for a total of eight sessions. The Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (RSPWB) and the Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI) were employed in this investigation. Repeated Measures ANOVA was used in SPSS software version 26 for data analysis. The results of repeated-measures ANOVA (P˂0.01) showed an increase in psychological well-being and happiness scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. Additionally, the results of the follow-up indicated that the treatment’s effects persisted over time. Given the significant efficacy of Acceptance and Commitment Group Therapy, it is advised that this treatment be considered as a means of enhancing the psychological well-being and increasing happiness of divorced children.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between parental bonding and the impaired autonomy and performance domain of early maladaptive schemas, which are mediated by emotion regulation. The research method was fundamental in its purpose and utilized descriptive-correlation for data collection. The study's statistical population consisted of 316 students from Allameh Tabataba'i University and Shahid Beheshti University, aged 18 to 35, in Tehran during the academic year 2020-2021. The students were selected using the available sampling method. The research instruments employed were the Parker Parental Bonding Questionnaire (PBI), Young Schemas (YSQ-SF), and Emotion Regulation (ERQ). The data analysis was conducted using the structural equation method and SPSS and LISREL software. Objectives Empty nest syndrome (SEN) in Iranian older adults is becoming an important social phenomenon. Although it is not a clinical disorder, it can affect a person’s life and lead to depression, alcoholism, marital conflicts, and identity crisis. This study aims to explore the lived experiences of older adults with SEN in Iran. Methods & Materials This is a qualitative phenomenological study. Participants were 17 older adults with a mean age of 65.7 years (6 males and 11 females) suffering from ENS in Tehran, Iran, in 2022. Sampling was done purposefully and until reaching theoretical saturation. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data regarding lived experiences. Results Six main themes (existential crisis, emotional turmoil, cognitive disorientation, functional decline, disruption in interpersonal relationships, and satisfaction with the transition period) and 23 sub-themes were extracted. Conclusion Understanding of Iranian older adults’ experiences of ENS can provide valuable insights to gerontologists and practitioners in fields of psychology, counseling, and social work to develop future interventions for these older adults and enhance their quality of life.

6. Effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Based on Mental Imagery on Symptoms of Depression and Autobiographical Memory in Adolescents

Introduction: Depression during adolescence can lead to various psychological and social problems that often persist into adulthood. Objective: The aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy based on mental imagery on depression symptoms and autobiographical memory in adolescents. Method: The present study employed a multiple baseline case study design. The study population included adolescents aged 12-18 who sought treatment at non-governmental psychological clinics in the city of Rasht during the years 1401-1402. The sample size consisted of three participants selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Beck Depression Inventory (Beck et al., 1996) and the Autobiographical Memory Test (Williams & Broadbent, 1986). Descriptive statistics, effect size, percentage of improvement, and mixed regression were used for data analysis with SPSS 24 software. Results: The results indicated that the cognitive-behavioral therapy package based on mental imagery significantly reduced depression symptoms in adolescents (p < 0.05) and increased meaningful self-report memories while decreasing more general self-report memories (p < 0.05). Conclusion: When individuals approach specific memories through mental imagery instead of avoiding or neglecting them, hidden emotions become apparent, providing the individual with new meanings of those images and contributing to mood improvement. Considering the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy based on mental imagery on depression symptoms and autobiographical memories in adolescents, it is recommended that healthcare practitioners working with individuals diagnosed with depression take note of the findings of this research

Abstract Background Cognitive flexibility is an important construct that contributes to one’s own thoughts, behaviors, and feelings to achieve his or her goals. Thus, it could play an essential role in students’ educational achievements. This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of cognitive flexibility in the relationship between self-regulation and resilience among students. Method This was a cross-sectional study conducted on a sample of students during the 2022 and 2023 academic years. Students were selected from Tehran and Karaj universities (two metropolitans in central Iran). Data collection instruments included the Bouffard’s Self-Regulation Scale, the Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI), and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RSC). Subsequently, the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling via SPSS and AMOS software to examine the relationships among variables. Results In all 302 students participated in the study. Introduction: Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a neurological condition that often occurs in children. Aim: The purpose of present research was to develop and validate internet neuropsychological training program and investigate its effectiveness on response inhibition and impulsivity of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Method: The program was compiled in a meta-synthesis method from data sources articles within 1982 to 2021 and was approved by professors of clinical psychology and psychiatry, Then, in quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design, 21 children aged 5 to 6 years with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder in Alborz province in 2022-2023 were selected by the convenience sampling method and randomly allocated into the experimental and control groups. The internet neuropsychological training program was held in 16 sessions for children and in 8 sessions for parents. Children's Raven Colored Progressive Matrices scales (1938), the Conners Parent Rating scale (1978) and Go/No go test (1984) were used to collect data. The program was analyzed by thematic analysis and the data was analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance in SPSS version 20. Results: The results showed that the content validity index of the parents' program was 0.87 and the children's program was 1, and the content validity ratio of the parents' program was 1 and the children's program was 0.75. Delayed diagnosis of syndesmosis instability can lead to significant morbidity and accelerated arthritic change in the ankle joint. Weight-bearing computed tomography (WBCT) has shown promising potential for early and reliable detection of isolated syndesmotic instability using 3D volumetric measurements. While these measurements have been reported to be highly accurate, they are also experience-dependent, time-consuming, and need a particular 3D measurement software tool that leads the clinicians to still show more interest in the conventional diagnostic methods for syndesmotic instability. The purpose of this study was to increase accuracy, accelerate analysis time, and reduce inter-observer bias by automating 3D volume assessment of syndesmosis anatomy using WBCT scans. We conducted a retrospective study using previously collected WBCT scans of patients with unilateral syndesmotic instability. 144 bilateral ankle WBCT scans were evaluated (48 unstable, 96 control). We developed three deep learning (DL) models for analyzing WBCT scans to recognize syndesmosis instability. These three models included two state-of-the-art models (Model 1 - 3D convolutional neural network [CNN], and Model 2 - CNN with long short-term memory [LSTM]), and a new model (Model 3 - differential CNN LSTM) that we introduced in this study. Model 1 failed to analyze the WBCT scans (F1-score = 0). Model 2 only misclassified two cases (F1-score = 0.80). Model 3 outperformed Model 2 and achieved a nearly perfect performance, misclassifying only one case (F1-score = 0.91) in the control group as unstable while being faster than Model 2.

Abstract Background Hip dysplasia is a condition where the acetabulum is too shallow to support the femoral head and is commonly considered a risk factor for hip osteoarthritis. The objective of this study was to develop a deep learning model to diagnose hip dysplasia from plain radiographs and classify dysplastic hips based on their severity. Methods We collected pelvic radiographs of 571 patients from two single-center cohorts and one multicenter cohort. The radiographs were split in half to create hip radiographs (n = 1022). One orthopaedic surgeon and one resident assessed the radiographs for hip dysplasia on either side. We used the center edge (CE) angle as the primary diagnostic criteria. Hips with a CE angle 25° were labeled as dysplastic, borderline, and normal, respectively. The dysplastic hips were also classified with both Crowe and Hartofilakidis classification of dysplasia. The dataset was divided into train, validation, and test subsets using 80:10:10 split-ratio that were used to train two deep learning models to classify images into normal, borderline and (1) Crowe grade 1–4 or (2) Hartofilakidis grade 1–3. A pre-trained on Imagenet VGG16 convolutional neural network (CNN) was utilized by performing layer-wise fine-turning. Results Both models struggled with distinguishing between normal and borderline hips. However, achieved high accuracy (Model 1: 92.2% and Model 2: 83.3%) in distinguishing between normal/borderline vs. dysplastic hips. The overall accuracy of Model 1 was 68% and for Model 2 73.5%. Most misclassifications for the Crowe and Hartofilakidis classifications were +/- 1 class from the correct class. Conclusions This pilot study shows promising results that a deep learning model distinguish between normal and dysplastic hips with high accuracy. Future research and external validation are warranted regarding the ability of deep learning models to perform complex tasks such as identifying and classifying disorders using plain radiographs. The radiative response of any object is governed by a surface parameter known as emissivity. Tuning the emissivity of surfaces has been of great interest in many applications involving thermal radiation such as thermophotovoltaics, thermal management systems, and passive radiative cooling. Although several surface engineering techniques (e.g., surface functionalization) have been pursued to alter the emissivity, there exists a knowledge gap in precisely predicting the emissivity of a surface prior to the modification/fabrication process. Predicting emissivity by a physics-based modeling approach is challenging due to surface's contributing factors, complex interactions and interdependence, and measuring the emissivity requires a tedious procedure for every sample. Thus, a new approach is much-needed to systematically predict the emissivity and expand the applications of thermal radiation. In this work, we demonstrate the immense advantage of employing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to predict the emissivity of complex surfaces. For this aim, we fabricated 116 bulk aluminum 6061 samples with various surface characteristics using femtosecond laser surface processing (FLSP). A comprehensive dataset was established by collecting surface characteristic data, laser operating parameters, and measured emissivities for all samples. We demonstrated the application of AI in two distinct scenarios. First, the range of emissivity of an unknown sample was shown to be estimated correctly solely based on its 3D surface morphology image. Second, the emissivity of a sample was precisely predicted based on its surface characteristics data and fabrication parameters. The implementation of the AI techniques resulted in the highly accurate prediction of emissivity by showing excellent agreement with the measurements.

The purpose of this research was to compare the effectiveness of parenting education based on acceptance and commitment and parenting based on positive psychology on the mother-child relationship. The research design was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with two experimental groups and one control group. The statistical population was the mothers of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder aged 8 to 12 years old in the 6th, 5th, and 2nd districts of Tehran city, in 2014-2016, and their number was 300. Using the available and targeted sampling method, 45 volunteer mothers were included in the study as the final sample size and were completely randomly divided into two experimental groups and a control group The tools of the current research are the mother-child relationship scale of Pianta (2011), the educational content of parenting based on acceptance and commitment by Kevin and Morrell (2009), the content of Seligman's positive psychology educational course. (2005). In order to analyze the data, descriptive indices (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (univariate analysis of covariance) were used in SPSS software version 22. The findings indicated that, between the educational group of parenting based on On acceptance and commitment, there was a significant difference in the mean score of the mother-child relationship between the parenting training group based on positive psychology and the control group .parenting education based on positive psychology had a greater effect on mother-child relationship in mothers of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder than parenting education based on paternalism and commitment

This paper expresses economic flexible–securable operation (EFSO) in smart distribution networks (SDNs), including distributed generation and storage systems to produce green energy. This is structured as an optimization formulation to obtain a minimum expected operation cost, constrained by optimal power flow, environmental, security, and flexibility limits. Also, mathematical expressions of power sources and storage are presented. The scheme considers uncertainties related to load, price of energy, and generation power of renewable sources. The work adopts the point estimation method (PEM)-based stochastic optimization to model the uncertainties. It also uses to evaluate the flexibility index accurately while requiring short computation time (among the objectives of power system operation). Then, the results demonstrate its capabilities in enhancing various aspects of the network, including economic, environmental, operational, security, and flexibility indicators. The design helps derive flexibility conditions of almost 100%. It improves the operating cost, energy loss, voltage deviation, amount of pollution emission, and voltage security index by approximately 23%, 29%, 47%, 51%, and 13% compared with power flow studies.

Introduction: Fear of guilt is a characteristic of obsessive-compulsive disorder, which confirms the centrality of guilt in obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Aim: This study aims to investigate the psychometric properties and factor structure of the Iranian adaptation of the Fear of Guilt Scale. Method: This study was applied and developmental in terms of aim and psychometric type,respectively. The population included all the people of the three company in Tehran, Iran, in the year 2022 from which 520 adults, were selected by availabile sampling. The Vancouver Obsessional Compulsive Inventory (2004) and the Fear of Guilt Scale (2016) were used to collect the data. Besides, mean, standard deviation (SD), exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, convergent validity and construct validity, SPSS version 26 and AMOS version 24 were run to analyze the data. Results: Confirmatory factor analysis revealed the existence of two factors: "punishment" and "prevention of harm." The scale demonstrated favorable convergent validity. Concerning scale reliability, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated at 0.90 for the entire scale, 0.88 for the "punishment" subscale, and 0.75 for the "prevention of harm" subscale which revealed the convergent and construct validity of this questionnaire. Conclusion: This study confirms the psychometric properties of the Fear of Guilt Scale in terms of evaluating the features of fear of guilt in obsessive-compulsive disorder .Future researches can use this tool for the purposes of evaluating and investigating the fear of guilt in patients with obsessive compulsive disorder

17. One-Bit Distributed Sparse Spectrum Sensing Based on the DQA-ZA-LMS and DQA-RZA-LMS Algorithms Over Adaptive Networks

In this paper, we proposed the distributed quantization and sparsity aware zero attracting least mean square (DQA-ZA-LMS) and its reweighted version (DQA-RZA-LMS) algorithms that can perform sparse spectrum sensing with the lowest power possible. The usage of the quantization aware diffusion adaptive networks has recently been proposed and they can be used in many possible mobile communicative applications. The sparsity aware feature of the proposed algorithm can help the network to track and estimate sparse random vectors that are shown to be the case with the spectrum of the new generation wireless communication systems such as 4G, 5G, 6G, and beyond. The spectrum sensing is considered in this paper to be performed by small cell eNode Bs (SC-eNBs) for the 4th generation long term evolution (LTE) and the next generation eNB (ng-eNB) networks for the 5th and 6th generation mobile communication systems that are scattered in an area collecting distributed quantized data from the environment and working collaboratively to estimate the sparse spectrum vectors. Our findings show that in comparison with the nonquantized version of the distributed ZA-LMS (DZA-LMS) and distributed regularized ZA-LMS (DRZA-LMS) algorithms, our proposed schemes perform considerably well using the quantized data and also reduce power consumption.

Background: MRI is the modality of choice for cartilage imaging; however, its diagnostic performance is variable and significantly lower than the gold standard diagnostic knee arthroscopy. In recent years, deep learning has been used to automatically interpret medical images to improve diagnostic accuracy and speed. Purpose: The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate whether deep learning applied to the interpretation of knee MRI images can be utilized to identify cartilage defects accurately. Methods: We analyzed data from patients who underwent knee MRI evaluation and consequently had arthroscopic knee surgery (207 with cartilage defect, 90 without cartilage defect). Patients' arthroscopic findings were compared to preoperative MRI images to verify the presence or absence of isolated tibiofemoral cartilage defects. We developed three convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to analyze the MRI images and implemented image-specific saliency maps to visualize the CNNs' decision-making process. To compare the CNNs' performance against human interpretation, the same test dataset images were provided to an experienced orthopaedic surgeon and an orthopaedic resident. Results: Saliency maps demonstrated that the CNNs learned to focus on the clinically relevant areas of the tibiofemoral articular cartilage on MRI images during the decision-making processes. One CNN achieved higher performance than the orthopaedic surgeon, with two more accurate diagnoses made by the CNN. All the CNNs outperformed the orthopaedic resident. Conclusion: CNN can be used to enhance the diagnostic performance of MRI in identifying isolated tibiofemoral cartilage defects and may replace diagnostic knee arthroscopy in certain cases in the future.

Objective: Employing transfer learning (TL) with convolutional neural networks (CNNs), well-trained on non-medical ImageNet dataset, has shown promising results for medical image analysis in recent years. We aimed to conduct a scoping review to identify these studies and summarize their characteristics in terms of the problem description, input, methodology, and outcome. Materials and Methods: To identify relevant studies, MEDLINE, IEEE, and ACM digital library were searched. Two investigators independently reviewed articles to determine eligibility and to extract data according to a study protocol defined a priori. Results: After screening of 8,421 articles, 102 met the inclusion criteria. Of 22 anatomical areas, eye (18%), breast (14%), and brain (12%) were the most commonly studied. Data augmentation was performed in 72% of fine-tuning TL studies versus 15% of the feature-extracting TL studies. Inception models were the most commonly used in breast related studies (50%), while VGGNet was the common in eye (44%), skin (50%) and tooth (57%) studies. AlexNet for brain (42%) and DenseNet for lung studies (38%) were the most frequently used models. Inception models were the most frequently used for studies that analyzed ultrasound (55%), endoscopy (57%), and skeletal system X-rays (57%). VGGNet was the most common for fundus (42%) and optical coherence tomography images (50%). AlexNet was the most frequent model for brain MRIs (36%) and breast X-Rays (50%). 35% of the studies compared their model with other well-trained CNN models and 33% of them provided visualization for interpretation. Discussion: This study identified the most prevalent tracks of implementation in the literature for data preparation, methodology selection and output evaluation for medical image analysis. Also, we identified several critical research gaps existing in the TL studies on medical image analysis.

Accurate and timely detection of medical adverse events (AEs) from free-text medical narratives is challenging. Natural language processing (NLP) with deep learning has already shown great potential for analyzing free-text data, but its application for medical AE detection has been limited. In this study we proposed deep learning based NLP (DL-NLP) models for efficient and accurate hip dislocation AE detection following total hip replacement from standard (radiology notes) and non-standard (follow-up telephone notes) free-text medical narratives. We benchmarked these proposed models with a wide variety of traditional machine learning based NLP (ML-NLP) models, and also assessed the accuracy of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes in capturing these hip dislocation AEs in a multi-center orthopaedic registry. All DL-NLP models out-performed all of the ML-NLP models, with a convolutional neural network (CNN) model achieving the best overall performance (Kappa = 0.97 for radiology notes, and Kappa = 1.00 for follow-up telephone notes). On the other hand, the ICD/CPT codes of the patients who sustained a hip dislocation AE were only 75.24% accurate, showing the potential of the proposed model to be used in largescale orthopaedic registries for accurate and efficient hip dislocation AE detection to improve the quality of care and patient outcome.

Introduction: A study of the conducted research shows that with the spread of corona disease, nurses, as one of the main groups dealing with the disease, are facing an increase in psychological issues and a decrease in the quality of life, therefore, the current research aims to predict the quality of nurses' life based on chronic anxiety and cognitive flexibility.Method: The design of the present study was descriptive-correlational. The study population included all nurses employed in hospitals in the province of Kermanshah in 1400, 360 of whom answered the survey questions by available sampling method and online. Quality of Life Questionnaire (SF-36), coronavirus-induced anxiety Alipour et al. (CDAS), and Dennis and Vanderwall cognitive flexibility inventory (CFI) questionnaires were used for research and data collection.Result: The results of this study indicated that the quality of life of nurses has a significant negative relationship with the coronavirus-induced anxiety variables and its subscales ( ) and a significant positive relation to cognitive flexibility and its sub-scales ( ). Furthermore, the analysis of the regression results demonstrated that the coronavirus-induced anxiety and cognitive flexibility variables can collectively account for 20.8% of changes in the quality of life variable.Discussion and conclusion: Considering that the matter of the quality of life of nurses is important for both themselves and the health of society, and The results of this study demonstrated that an acceptable percent of this variable can be explained by coronavirus-induced anxiety and cognitive flexibility, Programs in the field of anxiety management, familiarity with cognitive flexibility and its promotion by a psychologist can be implemented online or in person.

Introduction: Lack of cognitive flexibility intensifies an individual’s negative thoughts about oneself. Aim: The present study aimed to design and validate an educational program based on the posttraumatic growth model and to evaluate its effectiveness in the cognitive flexibility of leukemia patients. Method: In this quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design, the statistical population consisted of all patients referred to Firouzgar Hospital of Tehran, Iran, in 2022. The sample size 30 patients were selected by the convenience sampling method and randomly allocated into the experimental and control groups. The Cognitive Flexibility Questionnaire (2010) was used to collect the required data. The educational program based on the posttraumatic growth model was held in 12 sessions, and a follow-up experiment was conducted to evaluate the durability of intervention effects. The results were analyzed using the multivariate analysis of covariance and repeated measures ANOVA in SPSS version 22. 24. Self-other model in the context of life narratives of women with trait of borderline personality disorder: A qualitative study

Background: Disturbance relationships are among the main problems of people with traits of borderline personality disorder. An unpleasant parent-child relationship leads to a lack of stability sense, differentiation, and self-other disturbance. Although self-other disturbance has been considered one of the main criteria for borderline personality disorder for a long time, it has been neglected compared to its other aspects. Aims: The present study aimed to identify the self-other pattern in women with borderline personality disorder. Methods: The current research was basic research with a mixed approach using qualitative and quantitative methods. The statistical population included women with traits of borderline personality disorder, in addition to psychology and psychiatry specialists in Mashhad and Tehran in 2021. 15 women with traits of borderline personality disorder were selected from Ibn Sina Hospital in Mashhad by convenience sampling using Leichsenring's borderline personality questionnaire (1999). The data was collected in the qualitative part using Leichsenring's borderline personality questionnaire and semi-structured interview, and in the quantitative part using a researcher-made questionnaire and then analyzed by content analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Results: The results indicated the model of self-other includes components such as “relation to parents”, “relation to the opposite sex” and “unsuccessful relationships”. Results of factor analysis also indicated “relation to parents” has the most contribution to the model. Conclusion: Self-other disturbance in women with a borderline personality disorder is fundamental and a result of initial unstable relationships with parents. Therefore, the findings of the current study can be used in the treatment of individuals with borderline personality disorder.

Plain radiography is widely used to detect mechanical loosening of total hip replacement (THR) implants. Currently, radiographs are assessed manually by medical professionals, which may be prone to poor inter and intra observer reliability and low accuracy. Furthermore, manual detection of mechanical loosening of THR implants requires experienced clinicians who might not always be readily available, potentially resulting in delayed diagnosis. In this study, we present a novel, fully automatic and interpretable approach to detect mechanical loosening of THR implants from plain radiographs using deep convolutional neural network (CNN). We trained a CNN on 40 patients anteroposterior hip x rays using five fold cross validation and compared its performance with a high volume board certified orthopaedic surgeon (AFC). To increase the confidence in the machine outcome, we also implemented saliency maps to visualize where the CNN looked at to make a diagnosis. CNN outperformed the orthopaedic surgeon in diagnosing mechanical loosening of THR implants achieving significantly higher sensitively (0.94) than the orthopaedic surgeon (0.53) with the same specificity (0.96). The saliency maps showed that the CNN looked at clinically relevant features to make a diagnosis. Such CNNs can be used for automatic radiologic assessment of mechanical loosening of THR implants to supplement the practitioners decision making process, increasing their diagnostic accuracy, and freeing them to engage in more patient centric care.

Identifying the design of a failed implant is a key step in preoperative planning of revision total joint arthroplasty. Manual identification of the implant design from radiographic images is time consuming and prone to error. Failure to identify the implant design preoperatively can lead to increased operating room time, more complex surgery, increased blood loss, increased bone loss, increased recovery time, and overall increased healthcare costs. In this study, we present a novel, fully automatic and interpretable approach to identify the design of total hip replacement (THR) implants from plain radiographs using deep convolutional neural network (CNN). CNN achieved 100% accuracy in identification of three commonly used THR implant designs. Such CNN can be used to automatically identify the design of a failed THR implant preoperatively in just a few seconds, saving time and improving the identification accuracy. This can potentially improve patient outcomes, free practitioners time, and reduce healthcare costs.

Background: Different treatment approaches only target internet addiction symptoms and do not address its cause. The internal family systems model is a non-pathological and experiential approach to treating disorders that deals with the cause instead of the symptoms. Still, there is a research gap in designing and validating a treatment program based on this approach and investigating its efficacy on Internet Addiction. Aims: This study aimed to design and validate a therapy program based on the internal family systems model and investigate its efficacy on Internet addiction. Methods: The current research was conducted in two stages in a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative) way. In the first stage, a therapy program for internet addiction based on the internal family systems model was prepared in draft form, modified based on seven expert opinions, and validated by CVI and CVR indices. The method of the second phase of the research was a semi-experimental type with a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up design with a control group. The statistical population includes all people with symptoms of Internet addiction (addiction to social networks) in WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram in the virtual space of Iran in the year 2021. The research sample consisted of 35 participants selected through the convenient sampling method and randomly assigned to the experimental group (17 people) and the control group (18 people). Young's Internet Addiction Test (IAT) (1989) was used to evaluate Internet addiction symptoms. Data were analyzed using a differential t-test and repeated measure analysis by SPSS 22. Results: CVI and CVR indices were equal to 1, indicating the designed program's validity. The differential t-test results showed that the reduction of Internet addiction scores in the experimental group was significantly higher than in the control group (P05). Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the therapy program designed based on the internal family systems approach is valid and reduces Internet addiction symptoms. Abstract Background BASHTI is an implant-less anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction technique, which resolves the problems caused by implants such as interference screws. This study aims to investigate the effect of the drill bit and tendon’s diameter on the Core Bone Engaged Length (CBEL) and the fixation strength. CBEL is the length of core bone which has a full engagement with both tunnel and graft at the same time. Methods 60 in-vitro tests were conducted for 6, 7, 8, and 9 mm tendon sizes with a 10 mm bone tunnel. In this study bovine tendons and dummy bone blocks were used to model the fixation. Drill bits were used to extract the core bone for securing the auto-graft. A three-stage tensile test including a force-controlled cyclical preloading of 10–50 N with a frequency of 0.1 Hz for 10 cycles, followed by the main force-controlled cyclical loading of 50–200 N with a frequency of 0.5 Hz for 150 cycles, and immediately a displacement-controlled single cycle pull-out load with a rate of 20 mm/min were carried out to discover the fixation strength of each sample. Results The 6 mm group had the greatest CBEL. However, all cases in this group failed in loadings below 200 N, which is the minimum required strength after ACL reconstruction. The fixation strength of cases with more than 200 N fixation strength for 7, 8, and 9 mm tendon diameters were 275 ± 42, 330 ± 110, and 348 ± 93 N, respectively, showing insignificant difference between groups (P-value = 0.45). Nevertheless, CBELs for these groups were 16.6 ± 3.4, 9.6 ± 2.4, and 11.7 ± 3.8 mm, respectively, implying a significant increase in CBEL in the 7 mm group than that for 8 and 9 mm groups (P-value = 0.002 and 0.049, respectively). Conclusion Results showed that CBEL could assess the quality of BASHTI technique. However, CBEL was an inverse function of tendon compression, so it was not an independent parameter to determine BASHTI strength. Also, the CBEL of 7 mm group which fulfilled the 200 N threshold was higher than that of 8 and 9 mm groups, so its healing process speed may be higher, which is recommended for a future study in this field.

31. The pattern of self in women with borderline personality disorder in the context of their life narratives: A qualitative study

Introduction: Although self-disturbance is considered as an essential aspect of borderline personality disorder, there is little knowledge about its nature in affected individuals. Aim: The present study aimed to determine the patterns of self in women with borderline personality disorder. Method: This study was a basic research with a qualitative approach. The statistical population consisted of women with borderline personality disorder in Mashhad and psychologists and psychiatrists in Mashhad and Tehran, Iran, in 2021. Fifteen women with borderline personality disorder were selected by convenience sampling using Leichsenring's Borderline Questionnaire (1999) from Ibn Sina Hospital in Mashhad, and eight specialists were selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and coded through thematic analysis. Results: In the data analysis, five main themes, including self-knowledge, self-agency, loneliness, self and injury, and self and emotions, were identified. The self-knowledge theme has two sub-themes, namely, lack of self-awareness and instability. Self-agency included two external and internal themes. Loneliness was also divided into three themes of rejection, being misunderstood, and avoidance. Self and injury contained the themes of self pathology and self-harm, and finally, the main theme of self and emotions was divided into positive and negative emotions. Conclusion: In women with borderline personality disorder, under the influence of adverse and harmful experiences from early relationships and due to the accumulation of unprocessed emotions that cause impulsive behaviors, the self is incoherent, unstable with low self-awareness, and weak agency in facing life difficulties. Therefore; the extracted themes can provide a more comprehensive understanding of these individuals.

Background: The study of micro-cultures in the field of drug use, compared to other studies, not only in Iran, but also in other countries, has given a small contribution to the studies. Despite the existence of this research gap resulting from the study of personality traits about micro-cultures and norms that encourage substance consumption. Aims: The purpose of this research was to compare Cloninger's personality traits in drug addicts in different cultures. Methods: This research was descriptive-comparative. The population studied in this research included men aged 20 to 40 who use drugs from four subcultures: Gilak, Talesh, Kurd, and others (Persia). 300 of them were selected by purposeful sampling. All of them completed the personality traits questionnaire of Cloninger et al. (1993). Finally, descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used to describe the data. Results: The results showed that there is no significant difference in personality traits between any of the different cultures (P>0.05). This means that it can be said that addicts of different ethnicities had similar personality traits. Conclusion: Finally, based on the results of the present study, it can be said that substance-dependent people in different cultures in the present study had similar personality characteristics, and therefore, knowledge of these results can be important for personality psychologists, sociologists, and other professionals.

Method: The research method was quasi – experimental with comparison group. The statistical population was all students of Allameh Tabataba'i University in Tehran in 2020-2021. From students of Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, 30 students were purposefully selected, then randomly divided into experimental and comparison groups. Data were collected using IOWA Gambling Task (IGT) and Barrat Impulsivity Scale and then analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance in SPSS-24 software. 36. Development and validation of individual systemic psychotherapy protocol to ego depletion in individuals with depression

Introduction: Depression is a significant, growing and prevalent issue, one of the chronic disorders and the leading cause of disability worldwide. Aim: The present study aimed to develop a psychological intervention protocol based on systemic theory in depressed individuals. Method: The research method was qualitative content analysis, and the statistical population included various data sources related to the present concepts and therapies in the field of systemic theory, such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Science Direct and …, within 1998 to 2020. The extracted data from these sources were analyzed; an individual systemic psychotherapy protocol was developed based on the obtained results. Then, the content validity of the protocol was determined using the opinions of eight experts in the field of clinical psychology. Sampling in this study was purposeful. The research tool included the written evidence and documents searched in the aforementioned databases, and the data analysis method was Sterling’s content analysis. Results: Therapeutic communication, questions, statements, guidelines, problem identification, problem sequence, types of constraints, and decision matrix, including planning frameworks at different levels, feedback, and feedforward, formed the primary themes of the individual systemic psychotherapy. The content of psychotherapy protocol sessions was adjusted based on the obtained components in 12 weekly sessions. Conclusion: The individual systemic psychotherapy protocol is a comprehensive psychological treatment that includes multiple factors affecting the individual’s system and is valid and efficient. It is recommended to use this protocol for individuals with depression.

The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy on paranoid thoughts in women with postpartum depression, and the aim was practical. The method of this paper was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design and a 3-month follow-up with the control group. The statistical population included all women with postpartum depression who presented to health centers in the western part of Alborz province in 2019. From the community, 45 of these patients, whose depression was confirmed using the Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale (EPDS), were selected by an available sampling method and by random sampling into two groups for experiments and a control group (15 people in each group) were included. For the pretest-posttest follow-up, all groups voluntarily answered the Persian version of the Green Paranoid Thoughts Scale (GPTS), and members of experimental group 1 received cognitive-behavioral therapy sessions, and members of experimental group 2 received acceptance and commitment therapy. However, the control group received no intervention. Analysis of covariance and Bonferroni test were performed using spss-24 software. The means and standard deviations of paranoid thoughts were 116.76±10.76 at pretest, 106.29±12.31 at posttest, and 99.04±21.38 at follow-up. The mean scores of the cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment groups were also lower than those of the control group at posttest and follow-up. The mean difference between the cognitive-behavioral experimental groups and the control group was not significant (P=0.158), but the mean difference between the acceptance and commitment therapy experimental groups and the control group was significant (P=0.000). The results were repeated in the follow-up mode. Considering the significant efficacy of acceptance and commitment therapy, it is recommended that this treatment should be considered as the preferred treatment for reducing paranoid thoughts in women with postpartum depression.

Introduction: Anxiety disorders are the most common problems among children, with several adverse consequences. Aim: The present study aimed to develop and validate a psychomotor intervention program and to investigate its effectiveness on anxiety, working memory, and attention in anxious female students. Method: This study was performed in two stages. First, a psychomotor intervention program was developed, and for validation, its content validity was examined. Next, the quasi-experimental method with a control group, pretest-posttest follow-up design was used. The statistical population of the study included all female elementary school students in District 6 of Tehran, Iran, in 2021. A total of 40 students were purposefully selected and assigned to the experimental and control groups. The psychomotor intervention was performed in 10 sessions (60 minutes per session). The Overt Anxiety Questionnaire, Stroop Test, Wechsler Subtests, and Visual Memory Test were used to collect data. For statistical analysis, repeated measures analysis of variance was performed in SPSS-22. In this paper, we proposed the distributed quantization and sparsity aware zero attracting least mean square (DQA‐ZA‐LMS) and its reweighted version (DQA‐RZA‐LMS) algorithms that can perform sparse spectrum sensing with the lowest power possible. The usage of the quantization aware diffusion adaptive networks has recently been proposed and they can be used in many possible mobile communicative applications. The sparsity aware feature of the proposed algorithm can help the network to track and estimate sparse random vectors that are shown to be the case with the spectrum of the new generation wireless communication systems such as 4G, 5G, 6G, and beyond. The spectrum sensing is considered in this paper to be performed by small cell eNode Bs (SC‐eNBs) for the 4th generation long term evolution (LTE) and the next generation eNB (ng‐eNB) networks for the 5th and 6th generation mobile communication systems that are scattered in an area collecting distributed quantized data from the environment and working collaboratively to estimate the sparse spectrum vectors. Our findings show that in comparison with the nonquantized version of the distributed ZA‐LMS (DZA‐LMS) and distributed regularized ZA‐LMS (DRZA‐LMS) algorithms, our proposed schemes perform considerably well using the quantized data and also reduce power consumption. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the content characteristics of the parent-child interaction pattern based on Quranic teachings, focusing on the sharing approach. The method of this research is qualitative content analysis and written documents were used to collect data. The society studied in the research was the Holy Qur'an and Tafsir Noor. The units of analysis in this research are verses related to parent-child interactions, which were first selected in a targeted manner from the Qur'an, and then from Tafsir Noor, and theme analysis was used to analyze the data. After coding, focusing on human agency, 2 overarching themes of parents' responsibilities and children's responsibilities were obtained. Based on this, 6 organizing themes, 18 basic themes and 64 examples for parental responsibilities were extracted. The findings show that the organizing themes of parents' responsibilities include honoring the child, religious upbringing of the child, individual empowerment of the child, social empowerment of the child, belief in the production and development of the generation, and child care. In addition, 2 organizing themes, 6 basic themes and 16 examples for children's responsibilities were extracted. The organizing themes of children's responsibilities include kindness and obedience. It should be mentioned that the word "Ihsan" because of its wide meaning includes themes such as giving to parents, praying for parents, gratitude to parents, humility before parents, respect for parents and generous speech with parents. Finally, these themes are in the form of the network of the website is drawn and the relationships between them are shown in the form of a template, and the internal validation of the template was also done using the Delphi method, and it showed that the template has high content validity.

Introduction: Suicidal and self-harm behaviors are among the topics that have long been considered by clinical psychologists. Aim: The present study aimed to compare suicidal and self-harm behaviors and the guilt and shame proneness among individuals with the "dark tetrad personality traits" and the "vulnerable dark triad" Method: The present cross-sectional study is a type of structural equation modeling that has been conducted using a large sample. The statistical population in the "general population" consists of all young people aged 18-40 in Tehran. The "clinical population" also included all people with suicidal and self-harm behaviors of the same age range. A total of 1876 people were included in the present analysis among which 1696 individuals were selected for the general population using online surveys and 180 ones in purposive sampling for the clinical population from psychiatric hospitals, and prisons located in Tehran. The research tools in the present study included the Short Dark Tetrad (SD4), Scales for vulnerable dark personality traits, the Guilt and Shame Proneness Scale (GASP), the Self-Harm Inventory (SHI) and Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire-Revised (SBQ-R). Data were analyzed by SPSS-26 and AMOS-24 using a comparison of path coefficients and invariance Testing. 44. The Effect of Cognitive Behavioral Group Therapy on Body Image, Attachment Style and Emotion Regulation in Women with Eating Disorder

The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on body image, attachment style, and emotion regulation in women with eating disorders. The present paper is a quasi-experimental study of "pretest-posttest with control group design" and was applied research based on the aim. The statistical population includes 470 women who attended nutrition clinics, psychiatric centers, and bodybuilding and aerobics clubs in areas 1, 3, 6, and 21 of Tehran in 20219. The sample includes 30 women with eating disorders who attended the above centers in 2019. They were selected by Convenience Sampling and randomly divided into control and experimental groups. Patients in the intervention group received 12 sessions of two-hour CBT group therapy over a 12-week period. Patients in the control group remained on the waiting list. Participants answered the Adult Attachment Inventory (AAI), Difficulty in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), and Satisfaction with Body Image (SWBI) questionnaires in the pretest and posttest phases. We used ANCOVA and the T-test for independent samples to test the research hypotheses. SPSS version 26 was used for data analysis. The results of ANCOVA showed a significant effect of cognitive-behavioral group therapy on body image (F= 6.632, p= 0.016), emotion regulation (F= 57.423, p=0.001), and secure attachment style (F=6.250, p= 0.019). In addition, the results of the Independent Sample T-test showed that cognitive behavioral therapy had a significant effect on avoidance attachment style (t= 3.272, p= 0.006) and ambivalence attachment style (t= 4.570, p=0.001). The present study demonstrated that cognitive behavioral group therapy improved body image, attachment style, and emotion regulation in women with eating disorders, and that this type of treatment may be a useful therapy for women with eating disorders.

Point of common coupling (PCC) arrays are the most prominent and widely-used intermittent distributed generations (DGs). Due to the right-of-way, environmental, economical and other restrictions, the connection of these types of DGs to the preferred point of the distribution network is very difficult or impossible in some cases. Therefore, because of non-optimal locations, they may cause a voltage rise at the PCC. In this paper, a coordinated design of switchable capacitor banks (SCBs) with dynamic reconfiguration of the distribution network is proposed to avoid low- and high-voltage violations. The distribution network reconfiguration is implemented to mitigate the voltage rise at PCCs and capacitor banks (CBs) to solve the low-voltage problem. A novel method is presented for determining the optimal size of CBs. The proposed capacitor sizing method (CSM) effectively determines the optimal values of reactive power for the given nodes. The optimal locations of SCB are determined using particle swarm optimization algorithm. The 24-hour reactive power curve optimized by the proposed method plays a pivotal role in designing SCBs. The simulation results show that the implementation of the dynamic network reconfiguration and the placement of SCB is required to maintain a standard voltage profile for better employment of DG embedded distribution networks.

Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the most effective coping mechanism to deal with auditory hallucinations that reduces the frequency of voice-hearing and associated distress. In the present randomized controlled trial, each of the three coping mechanisms of attentional avoidance, attentional focusing, and mindfulness were used in one group and the fourth group was the control group. Method: A total of 64 patients with schizophrenia, categorized in three groups of attentional avoidance, attentional focusing and mindfulness and one control group, were asked to listen to an ambiguous auditory task depending on the type of their coping mechanism. After determining the baseline of distress, the task was performed in duplicate for each group. After playing the auditory task for the first time, participants were asked to rate out the level of their distress and compliance with instructions, and they were asked to estimate the likely number of words they had heard. After the second time, they were asked to note the words they hear during the task and rate out their distress and compliance with instructions again at the end of the task. Results: There was a significant difference between groups in terms of distress with a medium effect size of 0.47. The post hoc analysis revealed that mindfulness group reported less distress compared to the attentional focusing group (P = 0.017) and the control group (P = 0.027). Also, a significant difference existed between groups in terms of the frequency of the identified words, with a moderately strong effect size of 0.59, and a very good statistical power of 0.99. The post hoc analysis showed that attentional avoidance (P = 0.013) and attentional focusing (P = 0.011) groups heard fewer words than the control group. Conclusion: Attention is a good target for treating psychotic patients with auditory hallucinations. Also, manipulation of attention can affect the frequency of auditory hallucinations and associated distress.

Method: This study was a quasi-experimental applied research with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population of this study included adolescents 13 to 15 years old with social anxiety disorder and their mothers who had a file in Avae Ghasedak Clinic in District 5 of Tehran in 1398. By available sampling method, 32 mothers and adolescents were identified and Randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (16 experimental and 16 control). The instrument used in this study was the Parent-Child Relationship Scale (Mother Form) which was completed by adolescents before, after, and one month after. Adolescents and mothers in the experimental group participated in 12 sessions (eight sessions with adolescents and one sessions with mothers and three sessions adolescents and mothers) in the completed Adler program. Abstract Introduction Social-economic factors have an important role in shaping inequality in congenital heart diseases. The current study aimed to assess and decompose the socio-economic inequality in Congenital Heart Diseases (CHDs) in Iran. Methods This is a cross-sectional research conducted at Shahid Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center in Tehran, Iran, as one of the largest referral heart hospitals in Asia. Data were collected primarily from 600 mothers who attended in pediatric cardiology department in 2020. The polychoric principal component analysis (PCA) and Errygers corrected CI (ECI) were used to construct household socioeconomic status and to assess inequality in CHDs, respectively. A regression-based decomposition analysis was also applied to explain socioeconomic-related inequalities. To select the explanatory social, medical/biological, and lifestyle variables, the chi-square test was first used. Results There was a significant pro-rich inequality in CHDs (ECI = -0.65, 95% CI, − 0.72 to − 0.58). The social, medical/biological, and lifestyle variables accounted for 51.47, 43.25, and 3.92% of inequality in CHDs, respectively. Among the social variables, family SES (about 50%) and mother’s occupation (21.05%) contributed the most to CHDs’ inequality. Besides, in the medical/biological group, receiving pregnancy care (22.06%) and using acid folic (15.70%) had the highest contribution. Conclusion We concluded that Iran suffers from substantial socioeconomic inequality in CHDs that can be predominantly explained by social and medical/biological variables. It seems that distributional policies aim to reduce income inequality while increasing access of prenatal care and folic acid for disadvantaged mothers could address this inequality much more strongly in Iran.
