El presente seguimiento agrupa los factores específicos de el posparto, lo cual es de gran importancia para Enfermería ya que impulsa ha brindar un cuidado integral al igual que realizar intervenciones oportunas disminuyendo la morbimortalidad materno perinatal, al hacer valoraciones intrahospitalarias y seguimiento al hogar. La alimentación del lactante con alimentos distintos de la leche materna supone un riesgo de morbilidad y mortalidad para los lactantes de nuestro entorno y sus madres, además de un gasto familiar y social innecesario y del daño al medio ambiente que la producción y utilización de alimentos artificiales genera. El periodo de posparto se considera de alto riesgo por las complicaciones de salud que pueden presentar los lactantes y sus madres, por lo tanto el autocuidado debe ir enfocado hacia el cuidado físico de la madre, ya que al mejorar el autocuidado se esta en la capacidad de cuidar a otro, en este caso su bebé. Hemos identificado que la lactancia materna es un problema índice durante este periodo, pero no debemos dejar de lado las otras complicaciones de la madre y del lactante en la etapa del puerperio, por esto el trabajar y analizar la situación encontrada en estas madres y sus neonatos conlleva a una atención oportuna e inmediata para corregir las falencias que se generen en la mayoría de las situaciones que se presentan durante el puerperio. / The current monitoring get together specific facts about postnatal process which is really important for Nursing because it promotes the integral care through timely interventions diminishing the mother’s prenatal morbidity and mortality thanks to the hospital evaluations and home tracking. The postnatal feeding with other kind of food different to the mother milk generates a morbidity and mortality risk for the babies and mothers of our surroundings including unnecessary family and social expenses additionally the damage caused to the environment due to the production and use of artificial foods. The postnatal stage is considered high risked because the health complications that can occur to the babies and mothers, the self-care must be directed towards the physical care of the mother, if the self-care is improved it’s possible to take care of the others specifically the babies. We have identified that the lactation is a big problem during this stage but we can not forget the other complications of the mother and the baby during the prenatal period so working and analyzing the situation of mothers and born babies entails an appropriate and immediate attention to correct the lacks generated in general by the situations occurred during the prenatal period.
