FNEGE 4, HCERES C; International audience; Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an emerging technology that has been applied in several sectors of the economy such as industry, healthcare and finance. Today, it represents an opportunity for actors in the insurance sector who are considering how to evaluate the benefits of this technology in the medium term, taking into account their specific context. In this article, we will first present a summary of academic work on the contributions of RPA for companies and the stakes of its implementation. The case of Allianz France’s Flow Department is then presented, showing how this organization approaches the issue of assessing the potential benefits of RPA solutions for improving documentary management. We will present the theoretical contributions of the case as well as our experience feedback on its animation. Finally, we will discuss other issues that could also be addressed with this case.; La Robotic Process Automation (RPA) est une technologie émergente utilisée dans plusieurs secteurs de l’économie tels que l’industrie, la santé et la finance.

International audience; As companies increasingly move towards remote workplace for both sustenance and growth motives, they face other people-centric problems such as quiet quitting and organizational (dis)identification. As a way to mitigate these situations, they heavily invest in people-centric digital workplace platforms such as the employee advocacy (EA) platforms that promise both instrumental and humanistic outcomes. EA platforms aim to positively influence digital employee engagement through fostering connectedness and citizenship behavior. Past literature does not offer validity to such claims nor does it offer a way to conceptualize digital employee engagement. Leveraging the Needs-Affordances-Features perspective from the IS literature, we first conceptualize digital employee engagement to include two contextual and actualized affordances of EA platforms namely, digital employee advocacy and digital employee connectedness. We then, use the IT identity theory to offer a theoretical framework linking IT identity and the two dimensions of digital employee engagement. Using verified reviews obtained from users of several EA platforms, we test our model. We conduct lexical intensity analysis and multiple regression, the results of which support the theorized model. The study offers theoretical contributions to IT identity, digital workplace and employee advocacy literature. We also discuss the practical implications of our work.

FNEGE 1, HCERES A, ABS 4*; International audience; Rapid developments in real-time collaborative technologies coupled with the quest for innovation and creativity, has made global virtual teams (GVTs) a viable workplace collaboration option, that many companies are turning to. Though diverse team member perspectives in GVTs are expected to foster creativity, cultural diversity within GVTs also poses significant challenges related to knowledge exchange and integration among team members. Grounding our work in team adaptation and cultural intelligence (CQ) literatures, we suggest CQ as a plausible modality for cultural adaptation in GVTs. Specifically, we propose a nomological network comprising CQ dimensions (motivation, cognition, metacognition, and behavior) serving as a cultural adaptation mechanism for fostering creativity in GVT outcomes. We contextualize and extend prior CQ theory, suggested for face-to-face contexts, to the virtual collaborative GVT environment. For this, we conceptualize the significant role of deep-level implicitly negotiated adaptative behavior (role structure adaptation) in GVTs —in addition to surface-level explicitly displayed adaptative behavior (CQ behavior). We test the proposed model through a sequential mixed methods approach that integrates the results from a quantitative two-wave survey study with findings from a qualitative study comprising expert interviews, to arrive at rich and robust inferences and meta-inferences. The proposed CQ-for-GVT framework, along with delineated boundary conditions and associated propositions, explicates an integrative model explaining the role of CQ for GVT creativity performance. The delineated model not only has theoretical implications but also provides useful directions to GVT practitioners.

The advent of digital technologies and the emergence of the digital and collaborative economy have had profound social impacts. Every organization is affected by these transformations and must deal with them.New development opportunities are emerging for institutions that know how to adapt to them. In shifting the relationship with students and staff, the digital transformation is creating expectations in terms of new value-creating services for institutions (development of EdTech, certification of skill sets). The Covid-19 pandemic has heightened awareness of what is at stake for business schools in this digital transformation. As for many companies, the pandemic has been a real «crash test» for the digital maturity of higher education institutions. The shift to digital technologies to ensure the continuity of activities was not done without hiccups, but it also constituted an opportunity for real managerial and pedagogical innovation that will bring new development opportunities for business schools. The importance of this issue for business schools prompted the FNEGE to create a Digital Transformation Observatory, whose purpose is to support French business schools in the various transformations they need to undergo to benefit from the opportunities offered by the digital transformation. This is part of a Continuous Quality Improvement approach to managerial practices and support for business schools and faculties – core missions for the FNEGE.

International audience; Nowadays, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated enterprises’ Business models disruption. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are no exceptions; they are expected to develop new value creation strategies that go beyond merely remote teaching. Despite the relevance of this issue, little remains known about how the HEI Business Model is evolving. This paper empirically investigates how HEI may innovative their BM through the usage of innovative pedagogical practices. A qualitative case study has been carried out on the business Ludoparty project. This project study the managers' perceptions about using student’s designed escape games for Digital Transformation awareness for pre-digital enterprises. The study revealed that online escape games are an attractive pedagogical practice for pre-digital enterprises. The industrial partners were motivated to acquire student’s games for their vocational training. The main originality of this paper is in addressing a research gap at the intersection of effective pedagogical practices and BMI in the HEI context.

International audience; A persuasive argument is that small cap stocks outperform large cap stocks. A technological advance mirroring social belief paves the way for individual traders to take advantage in financial markets. We examine if and how investors’ social response towards the small and neglected stocks will be communicated to their stock trading behavior. We use multi order hidden Markov process performing experiments in stock trading channels and perform nested ANOVA to identify the differentiated impact of social sentiment on the firm cohorts, well known vs. less known. We show that a second order Markov chain might better performs for the predictive interaction, implying the presence of speculative prediction, which is difficult with just a first order chain. An interesting result is that investors’ social belief and response is transferred to the stock trading behavior of small and neglected firms when they sell the stocks, referring the small and neglected firm effects.

The use of digital technologies in support to the rising wave of digital transformation allows organizations to improve their strategic and operational performances, but also harbors risks of security, oversizing or loss of control among others. If the management of these risks is essential to foster the success of the digital transformation for a business, no research offers an integrative framework to manage them. This paper provides a preliminary response to this gap by proposing a characterization of the risks related to using digital technologies, which constitutes a fundamental step to design a management model for these risks. In this sense, we relied on an in-depth literature review and an empirical study with five digital transformation experts conducted using a Delphi approach. Our results enable us to characterize the risks according to their nature in three global classes, but also to identify the specific risks linked to the use of each digital technology in the spectrum of SMAC and DARQ technologies.

International audience; Smart Cities are currently a hot topic in the Information System (IS) consulting field. IS consultant should use business cases to evaluate and identify conceptual and technological solutions. However, these approaches are often difficult to understand by the learners. The use of Serious Games (SG) has emerged as an interesting strategy to promote experiential learning in several domains. But few studies have evaluated game based educational methods in the IS consulting field. This paper presents a feedback on the SG Cityone use in the IS consulting teaching for a smart city use case. This experiment was conducted within the course: "Information System consulting" proposed to Master II students. The evaluation of Cityone was carried out according to the enjoyment and learning dimensions. The main results showed that the game is a good complementary approach to be integrated in the IS consulting learning.

International audience; The ability to share EHR's (Electronic Health Record) underlying knowledge both internally and externally within healthcare organizations has been accepted as a method to improve the quality and delivery of care. It has also raised important questions related to legal and privacy issues. This paper aims to explore the critical factors that impact knowledge sharing in the French healthcare sector. A qualitative exploratory design was used to study EHRs underlying Knowledge sharing in French hospitals. Three major issues were identified, namely the need for: a common healthcare terminology, interoperability among healthcare information systems and patient's informed consents before sharing his/her sensitive data. This paper proposes a onceptual model to explain the factors that impact knowledge sharing in the French healthcare system.

Organizations increasingly rely on corporate social networks and online communities, under what is called today Enterprise 2.0, to enhance socialization and favor information/knowledge sharing, collaboration and value creation among coworkers. Researchers and practitioners to date have mostly assumed that people from this generation Y, because of their massive use of social media in the private arena, would be willing to accept and use them more easily and quickly in corporate environment. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no empirical work which has been reported on this issue confirming this assumption., Author(s): Imed Boughzala, Telecom Ecole de Management, Evry, France INTRODUCTION In 2005, the social aspect of the Web was emphasized by Tim O'Reilly (2005) to highlight the value of socialization [...]

International audience; Data Modeling (DM) is an important area in the Information System (IS) learning. In particular, in the IS analysis phase business analysts need to provide a comprehensive notation to avoid misunderstanding between software engineers and customer. Teaching DM is a challenging task, mainly because it lays great emphasis on theory. It remains often abstract, not consensual and complex to implement in real setting. In order to better motivate learners, this paper aims to assess the integration of Serious Games (SGs) in the DM learning. Previous researches on learning with SGs has mainly been focused on other areas of the IS domain, such as Business Process Management (BPM). In an attempt to fill this gap, this paper presents an exploratory experiment on the usage of the SG innov8, carried out within a business school's master students. This SG initially designed for learning BPM, has been the subject of a gamification experiment in order to design a data model. The feedback from the students and teachers were quite positive.

Our main research focus is to answer the question of how to improve Knowledge sharing in the healthcare sector? We conducted non-directive, face-to-face interviews with physicians working in different healthcare institutions. Results: Three major issues were identified, namely the need for: a common healthcare terminology, the interoperability among healthcare information systems and the patient's informed consents before sharing his sensitive data. Conclusions: This paper proposes an ontological framework that extends the Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms with privacy dimension, to secure acc ess to sensitive patient's data. This study has limitations that could be addressed by future studies. First, the size of the sample is limited. Further explorations of knowledge sharing among other kinds of workers (e.g. nurse) and other countries would add richness to the phenomena and associations described in this paper.
