Research was conducted to examine the performance of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconducting quadrupole coils. The critical current performance of the coil at liquid helium and liquid nitrogen temperatures was measured. The critical current calculations at 4.2 K reveal a scale factor of 5.3 improvement over the 77 K performance. Its performance will be compared to short sample measurements of pieces of conductor taken from the start and finish of the windings.
