The article is devoted to the problem of identifying deviant groups studying in educational institutions. The article substantiates the relevance of this problem. Recent incidents and possible reasons for their occurrence are analysed. The system for preventive detection of deviant groups of teenagers is offered. Categories of deviant groups of adolescents are identified: potential shooters; potential bullies; potential students capable of laying hands on themselves. It is suggested to measure anxiety and aggressiveness in adolescents in order to detect deviation of adolescents. The ways of measuring anxiety and aggressiveness are considered. It is suggested to use profiling as an objective method of assessment. Profiling by school psychologists is rather difficult to implement due to their limited number in educational institutions. To automate the process and exclude the subjective factor, it is suggested to use online profiling. Within the framework of online profiling, the objects of research are the pages of social networks used by students. Criteria for determining anxiety and aggressiveness based on information from social network pages are proposed. A toolkit for partial automation of the process of data collection from the pages of social networks of students of educational institutions is proposed. The use of the method of clustering k-means clustering method to identify deviant groups of students. An example of detection of teenagers with deviations using specially generated synthetic data is given.

The article discusses one of the methods for reducing friction, used for newly developed rotary compressors as part of import substitution work. The experience of using rotary refrigeration compressors is analyzed and the main factors determining refrigeration capacity are identified. Methods used in aerospace engineering and power engineering to reduce friction and increase the service life of mechanical elements and assemblies using metallic and non-metallic materials have been identified, and the most promising materials and development trends have been analyzed. A fairly common method of reducing friction, based on the weariness effect, is chosen for study. Based on already known results, a technical solution based on the wear-free effect has been proposed to reduce friction of a refrigeration compressor with a rolling rotor.

Background/Objectives: The changes in the level of small GTPase ARL4C are associated with the initiation and progression of many different cancers. The content of ARL4C varies greatly between different tissues, and the induction of ARL4C expression leads to changes in cell morphology and proliferation. Although ARL4C can bind alpha-tubulin and affect intracellular transport, the role of ARL4C in the functioning of the tubulin cytoskeleton remained unclear. The aim of the present work is to study this role; Methods: The cells of the following lines were used for the experiments: HeLa (human cervical carcinoma), MCF7 (human breast cancer), U2OS (human osteosarcoma), Vero, BS-C-1, and COS7 (African green monkey kidney). The receptor activation by agonists followed by the preparation of cell lysates, electrophoresis, and immunoblotting, as well as cell fixation and immunofluorescent staining, were used to assess endogenous ARL4C/ABCA1 levels and the microtubule network morphology. The microtubule regrowth technique was performed to estimate the rate of microtubule nucleation, and the overexpression of different ARL4C constructs was used to affect ARL4C activity in the cells; Results: We showed that the changes in the endogenous ARL4C level or the ARL4C activity alter the microtubule nucleation process in the cells; Conclusions: small GTPase ARL4C may serve as one of the regulators of the microtubule nucleation process both in normal and cancer cells.

Microtubules are an indispensable component of all eukaryotic cells due to their role in mitotic spindle formation, yet their organization and number can vary greatly in the interphase. The last common ancestor of all eukaryotes already had microtubules and microtubule motor proteins moving along them. Sponges are traditionally regarded as the oldest animal phylum. Their body does not have a clear differentiation into tissues, but it contains several distinguishable cell types. The choanocytes stand out among them and are responsible for creating a flow of water with their flagella and increasing the filtering and feeding efficiency of the sponge. Choanocyte flagella contain microtubules, but thus far, observing a developed system of cytoplasmic microtubules in non-flagellated interphase sponge cells has been mostly unsuccessful. In this work, we combine transcriptomic analysis, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy with time-lapse recording to demonstrate that microtubules appear in the cytoplasm of sponge cells only when transdifferentiation processes are activated. We conclude that dynamic cytoplasmic microtubules in the cells of sponges are not a persistent but rather a transient structure, associated with cellular plasticity.

У статті проаналізовано правові засади міжнародного військового співробітництва Збройних Сил України в ході російсько-української війни. Його витоки сягають початку 2000-х рр. З початком російської агресії у 2014 році відкрився новий етап співробітництва з країнами-членами НАТО, котрий пов’язується з рішеннями Уельського, Варшавського та Брюссельського самітів. Міжнародне військове співробітництво з інституціями Європейського Союзу здійснювалося відповідно до Угоди про асоціацію з Європейським Союзом та пов’язаними з нею міжнародними нормативними актами. У 2014 році Збройні Сили України приєднались до Ініціативи взаємосумісності партнерів. Знаковим щодо розвитку такого співробітництва став Закон України «Про внесення змін до деяких законів України щодо відмови України від здійснення політики позаблоковості» від 23 грудня 2014 р. Основною формою міжнародного співробітництва була участь Збройних Сил у міжнародних військових навчаннях. З цією метою щорічно приймалися нормативно-правові акти, що затверджували плани та участь у них. Активно розвивалася співпраця з оборонними відомствами Республіки Польща, країн Балтії, Великої Британії, Канади, Туреччини та ряду інших країн. Багатостороннє співробітництво здійснювалося в рамках Хартії про особливе партнерство, щорічного Робочого Плану співробітництва Збройних Сил України та Секретаріату Ради ЄС. Важливими програмними документами були Стратегія національної безпеки України (2015 р.) та Стратегія сталого розвитку «Україна-2020». Значним досягненням у розвитку відносин з НАТО стало надання Україні 12 червня 2020 р. статусу партнера з розширеними можливостями. Подальші міжнародні нормативні акти та внутрішнє законодавство розвивали підвалини військового співробітництва між Україною та країнами-членами НАТО і Європейського Союзу. Таким чином, слід констатувати, що Україною та її партнерами закладені дієві правові засади міжнародного військового співробітництва.

The increasing impact of scientometrics and formal approaches to science management distorts employee motivation, which, in turn, impedes the growth and accumulation of scientific knowledge. The paper aims to gauge public opinion on the paternalistic state activity in the field of science using the results of a sociological survey. The methodological basis includes the principles of paternalism and scientometric management. The study uses the results of the survey of the economic community held by the New Economic Association in 2022. The methods of regression analysis and factor analysis modified for multiway data were applied. Formalization and bureaucratization of science management processes are viewed within the framework of the well-known conflict between the Higher Attestation Commission and the RSCI, which created numerous barriers for researchers who prepared candidate and doctoral dissertations. To assess the attitude of experts to the current situation, it is necessary to obtain a constant sociological cross-section of opinions, if possible. Public monitoring of economic journals and the MW-analysis methodology made it possible to rank journals for the year of 2022. The compiled private and aggregate rankings contain information about the preferences of the economic community and are markedly different from the RSCI scientometric-based indicators. The paper also presents an expert assessment of the proposals for reforming the journal activity, in particular, the proposal of creating material incentives by research periodicals for scientists to prepare high-quality articles.

Although more than 1.38 million students receive accommodations and supports accorded by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, many teachers report not knowing about their responsibilities under Section 504. The purpose of this article is to educate teachers about Section 504. Specifically, teachers will learn about ways to evaluate and support students with disabilities under the auspice of Section 504. Based on data collected from more than 100 students with disabilities and their families, this article is framed around frequently asked questions and answers in relation to Section 504 plans. The article describes the experience of the Compressor holding company in the creation of compressor equipment for various industries. The use of compressors as part of complexes for the processing of organic waste in the framework of solving urgent environmental problems has been demonstrated. The process of compression of synthesis gas to increase the efficiency of the processing process has been investigated. To ensure stable parameters, reliable operation of syngas reciprocating compressors is required in wide ranges of operating parameters. Ensuring the operability of the compressor in wide ranges of parameter variation requires multivariate calculations in order to find the best design parameters of the compressor. A compressor is proposed for the most efficient implementation of the task and its characteristics are calculated.

An analysis of the existing and prospective blade seal designs for Kaplan runners was performed. The selected design type provides the maximum ecological safety for Kaplan runners. A 3D model of runner hub sector with the trunnion, inner and outer bushes of blade trunnion was generated taking into account the cyclic symmetry of the runner design based on the modern automated design engineering system. A diagram of application of external loads from the blade and lever to the given 3D model of the Kaplan runner hub segment was developed. The contact problem was formulated to determine the stress-strain state as well as the contact pressures at the inner and outer bronze bushes of the Kaplan runner blade trunnions in different operating conditions. The problem was formulated for the finite element method, taking into consideration the diagram of external load application and contact restraints to the given 3D model of the Kaplan runner hub sector in the software package for engineering calculations. Using calculation results, principal stress distribution diagrams and the distribution diagram for the contact pressure at the outer and inner bronze bushes of blade trunnions were obtained. Strength calculation results were processed using the data of principal stress distribution diagrams, and the contact pressure values at the inner and outer bronze bushes of blade trunnions were determined. A methodology for further use of the given analytical model in the evaluation of stress-strain state of Kaplan runners involving modern automated design engineering systems and software package for engineering calculations was developed. The main objectives of the reconstruction are stated. Those are: increase of the service life of the hydro-turbines of Dnipro Cascade, enhancement of their efficiency, power, and environmental safety, extension of the power control range of the hydro-power plants, assurance of the reliability and improvement of the operating safety of their equipment and structures, meeting the environmental requirements, improvement of the quality of the generated electric power after control system rehabilitation. The article deals with and analyses the chronology of the creation of the optimal design for a vertical Kaplan hydro-unit oil piping taking into consideration the half a century operational experience and stages of hydro-turbine modernization for Dnipro-2 HPP. The experience in improvement of the hydro-unit and oil head system control design is generalized, from the unified solution to the creation of the all-new design. The methods of the oil system rod machining and preliminary control are amended. The temperature control of the automatic unit shutdown in case of heating of oil head bushes is introduced into the control system. The oil piping installation method is improved and step-by-step checking of the oil piping installation centering is introduced. As a result of implementation of a package of design and process engineering solutions, the optimal design of the oil piping of improved reliability was created. It decreased the unscheduled downtime of the units and cut expenses on their maintenance providing the cyclic recurrence recommended by the standards for the operation of the oil pressure device pumps and thus, decreased the electric power consumption for balance-of-plant needs.
