The Council of Nicea, with its prolegomena and consequences, can be seen in some of its aspects as an example of the commitment between true ecclesial communion and ephemeral political communion. In the present article the explanation of the origins of Arianism is approached on the basis of two factors: the Alexandrine tradition, which is not free from tensions after the death of Origen, and the influence of Lucian of Antioch on Anus himself. With all this we see evidence of the relationship between the Nicean solution to the conflict and communion within the Church. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
