Both young adults and young elderly people have been found to be at a high risk of disengagement with physical activity. This makes both groups important targets for health and exercise promotion. Since sport and wellness technology has become popular among regular exercisers, it is worth studying how personal wellness devices could help both target groups in becoming more physically active. This study explores critical experiences during the implementation phase of a sport and wellness technology digital coach among young adults and young elderly. This qualitative study is based on a thematic analysis of 60 participants' interviews conducted with the critical incident technique. The study reveals the experiences the users consider crucial during the initial phases of usage of sport and wellness technology digital coaching devices. The results show that positive critical incidents among young adults and young elderly are similar when learning about personal health and exercising. However, the role of supportive communication seems to be more important with the young elderly people. Functionality and usability issues play a big role in negative critical incidents. The findings highlight the importance of these critical experiences to the overall usage experience and their influence on users' motivation to improve their fitness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The relationship between law enforcement and those with mental illness is severely strained and possibly even broken. But who caused this rift in the relationship? Is law enforcement to blame? Are those with a mental illness to blame? Or, does the issue stem from a bigger problem of deinstitutionalization and negative stigmas that society has against both mentioned populations? The purpose of this study was to dive deeper into the relationship between law enforcement officers and those with mental illness to seek the root cause of the disconnect, as well as what can be done to bridge the gap. Previous research has focused on the law enforcement perspective, focusing on what training (if any) they have for dealing with citizens with mental illnesses as well as how those in law enforcement perceive people with mental illnesses while on the job. These perceptions are yet another possible explanation of the disconnect and could potentially be part of the solution to help mend the break between law enforcement and those suffering from a mental illness. The present study sought to examine the effects that CIT training has on the response outcomes when law enforcement officers respond to those with mental illness. These response outcomes, when ranked by severity, can help to explain the importance of CIT training and its effectiveness, especially when compared to the previous studies data pool of officer perspectives. This study analyzes the impact that U.S. curricula have on Mexican transnational returnees. Specifically, this article focuses on the ideological development of the army and imperialism promoted in U.S. schools among Mexican populations. Using a framework that combines critical literacies, transnationalism, and Bourdieu's concepts of habitus and doxa, this study draws on data from 24 interviews to Mexican transnational returnee students (n = 4), Mexican national professors (n = 4), and Mexican national students (n = 4) during their concurrence in a program of English language teaching in central Mexico. Findings suggest that, before returning to Mexico, Mexican transnationals are exposed to educational practices that foster unawareness of U.S. hegemony, imperialism, and expansionism. When (back) in Mexico, transnationals pursuing a degree in language teaching had interiorized uncritical perspectives of the U.S. army, which contrasted with the ideological inclinations of their Mexican national counterparts. This ideological discrepancy partially explains the tensions and mutual discrimination among these populations regardless of their common Mexican origin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Controlling continuous data, such as Electroencephalographic (EEG) data, is challenging. The EEG data is recorded during the Concealed Information Test (CIT), performed with a 16-channel electrode. Some of the meta-heuristic algorithms that are already in use need to be improved so that they can handle the balance between the exploration and exploitation stages, deal with the problem of local optimums, and take continuous data. The Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO) algorithm is utilized as a candidate rule miner known as the SM-Candidate Rule Miner (SM-CRM) for categorizing EEG data into two groups, like guilty or innocent. These problems are solved by making an exhaustive optimal rule set that balances the SM-CRM's sensitivity, accuracy, and specificity. These rules are applied to the entire EEG dataset, and ten cross-folder validations are performed to get the individual confusion matrix. The SM-CRM method was better than other well-known algorithms regarding average sensitivity, specificity, and classification accuracy. It achieved a decent mean rule length and mean rule set size. Compared to meta-heuristic algorithms like the genetic and bat, the proposed framework achieved a maximum accuracy of 97.66%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents an analysis of non-resource revenues of the consolidated budget of Russia by types of economic activity. The purpose of this study was to identify which sectors are the most sensitive to shocks form the fiscal point of view, and to answer the questions: how long it takes for the revenues of different sectors recover from “local lows” and how the sectoral structure of budget revenues affects the volatility of payments. In accordance with the set objectives, we examined the dynamics of consolidated budget revenues in real terms for the period 2008–2022 as a whole and by sector. In addition, a sectoral analysis was provided for CIT. The calculations were based on the data of the Federal Tax Service prepared by excluding payments on natural rent. The analysis showed that revenue fluctuations are largely determined by the dynamics of payments from the extractive sector (especially oil production), and an increase in the sector’s share is likely to increase the overall volatility of revenues. In fiscal terms, the processing sector is the most sustainable for total revenues but provides a source of volatility in CIT dynamics. Revenues from financial activities show the fastest recovery from the crises. Trade and finance have a stabilizing effect on both total revenues and CIT dynamics. The results of the study can be used at the stage of budget planning.

The response time-based Concealed Information Test (RT-CIT) is an established memory detection paradigm. Slower RTs to critical information (called 'probes') compared to control items (called 'irrelevants') reveal recognition. Different lines of research indicate that response conflict is a strong contributor to this RT difference. Previous studies used electromyography (EMG) to measure response conflict, but this requires special equipment and trained examiners. The aim of this study was to explore if response conflict can also be measured with an analog gaming keyboard that is sensitive to minimal finger movements. In a preregistered study, participants completed an autobiographical RT-CIT (n = 35) as well as a cued recognition task (modified Sternberg task; n = 33) for validation purposes. Partial errors, partial button presses of the incorrect response key, were more frequent in trials with response conflict than in trials without conflict. Partial errors were rare (CIT: 2.9%; Sternberg: 1.7% of conflict trials), suggesting analogue keyboards have lower sensitivity than EMG. This is the first evidence that analog keyboards can measure partial errors. Although likely less sensitive than EMG measures, potential benefits of analog keyboards include their accessibility, their compatibility with all tasks that use a standard keyboard, that no physical contact with the participant is needed, and ease of data collection (e.g., allowing for group testing). An important role in the effective functioning and promotion of transport is played not only by transport and forwarding companies, but also by non-governmental organizations, closely cooperating with the industry and representing them in decision-making bodies. The article presents selected organizations representing the transport sector at the global and community forums. The analysis covers the influence of these organizations on establishing international law, unifying technical, organizational, operational and economic solutions, and the preparation of shipping documents. The activities aimed at standardization and unification of land transport for the purposes of intermodal transport were also discussed.

Abstract A study on aerosols in the Brazilian subequatorial Amazon region, Tangará da Serra (TS) and Alta Floresta (AF) was conducted and compared to findings in an additional site with background characteristics (Manaus, AM). TS and AF counties suffer from intense biomass burning periods in the dry season, and it accounts for high levels of particles in the atmosphere. Chemical characterization of fine and coarse particulate matter (PM) was performed to quantify water-soluble ions (WSI) and black carbon (BC). The importance of explanatory variables was assessed using three machine learning techniques. Average concentrations of PM in AF and TS were similar (PM2.0, 17±10 µg m-3 (AF) and 16±11 µg m-3 (TS) and PM10-2.0, 13±5 µg m-3 (AF) and 11±7 µg m-3 (TS)), but higher than the background site. BC and SO4 2- were the prevalent components as they represented 27%–68% of particulates chemical composition. The combination of the machine learning techniques provided a further understanding of the pathways for PM concentration variability, and the results highlighted the influence of biomass burning for key sample groups and periods. PM2.0, BC, and most WSI presented higher concentrations in the dry season, providing further support for the influence of biomass burning.

A novel multi-layer multi-spiking neural network (MMSNN) model sends information from one neuron to the next through multiple synapses in different spikes. When a suitable training method is unavailable, there are numerous complications in training spike neural networks. The convergence rate is slow when gradient descent algorithms are trained on multi-spike neural networks. Meanwhile, the spiking network is likely to perform poorly in classifying electroencephalographic (EEG) datasets due to its high propensity to fall within the local minima. With the help of a 16-channel electrode, the Concealed Information Test created the EEG dataset. The Mini Batch Stochastic Gradient Descent (MBSGD) built the batch size and cut the number of iterations to speed up the convergence rate. It can, however, avoid the problem of moving into the local minimum more effectively. This paper describes an MBSGD algorithm for MMSNN model training that addresses local minima and convergence rate issues. This paper presents an MBSGD-MMSNN model for classifying EEG data. The MBSGD algorithm adjusts the weight parameters of the MMSNN model based on the batch size until the error is less than the required value. As a result, we achieve a faster convergence rate and avoid issues with local minima. The performance of the proposed MBSGD-MMSNN model is compared to that of existing meta-heuristic algorithms. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie czynników determinujących luki podatkowe w Polsce. Analizie poddane zostały podatki: od towarów i usług (VAT), dochodowy od osób prawnych (CIT), dochodowy od osób fizycznych (PIT) i akcyzowy. Przyjmuje się, że w Polsce występują wspólne czynniki determinujące wielkość luki podatkowej dla podatków VAT, CIT, PIT i akcyzy. Na podstawie analizy ekonometrycznych modeli panelowych dla krajów Unii Europejskiej lub OECD przedstawianych w literaturze przedmiotu wskazano ogólne czynniki determinujące luki podatkowe. Następnie poddano je szczegółowej analizie na bazie dostępnych danych statystycznych oraz pogłębionych studiów literaturowych. W opracowaniu omówiono również luki polityki podatkowej dla każdego z podatków. Dzięki przeprowadzonej analizie stwierdzono, że wspólnymi makroekonomicznymi czynnikami determinującymi luki podatkowe są: poziom rozwoju i stan koniunktury gospodarczej, obciążenie podatkowe oraz efektywna administracja skarbowa, a w przypadku czynników mikroekonomicznych znaczenie nieformalnych czynników instytucjonalnych może być niejednoznaczne.

Contemporary law enforcement methods are largely defined by crime control and militarization in the "warrior" policing model. In 2013, the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC) adopted an alternative "guardian" training model for the Basic Law Enforcement Academy (BLEA) focused on procedural justice, community partnerships, de-escalation, and crisis intervention. The current study investigates BLEA graduates' perceptions of guardian policing and training elements. Researchers interviewed new officers who completed BLEA training with the guardian curriculum (n = 17) and officers trained in a warrior-based curriculum (n = 11). Themes are analyzed from interview data, including officer perceptions of BLEA guardian training and related programs. Background: Citations are considered a measure of the scientific impact of research articles. CiteScore is a standard metric, based on the Scopus database, of the number of times articles in a given journal were cited during a given period relative to the number of articles published by that journal during that period.Objectives: To investigate the factors associated with CiteScores of journals on cardiology and cardiovascular diseases and indexed in Scopus in 2019.Methods: This cross-sectional, descriptive-analytical study examined 338 journals to analyse the correlation between CiteScore and such other variables and parameters as coverage by indexing services (databases), type of access, language, type of published articles, age of the journal (year of establishment), H-Index, Scimago Journal Rank, and the quartile of the journal.Results: CiteScore of a journal was positively correlated to the following variables or parameters: coverage by PubMed, Web of Science, and EMBASE (p < 0.001), articles in English (p < 0.001), age of the journal (p = 0.001), publishing review articles (p = 0.23), H-Index (p < 0.001), and Scimago Journal Rank (p < 0.001).Conclusion: Coverage of a journal in international databases, especially in PubMed, Web of Science, and EMBASE, is critical to increasing its visibility. Publishing review articles, which tend to be cited more often because they serve as comprehensive sources of information, can increase the CiteScore of a journal. Also, publishing more articles in English contributes to the number of times articles in a journal are cited.

Improving interactions between first responders and individuals experiencing behavioral crisis is a critical public health challenge. To gain insight into these interactions, key informant qualitative interviews were conducted with 25 Chicago stakeholders. Stakeholders included directors and staff of community organizations and shelters that frequently engage first responders. Interviews included granular depictions related to the expectations and outcomes of 911 behavioral crisis calls, and noted areas requiring improved response. Stakeholders called 911 an average of 2 to 3 times per month, most often for assistance related to involuntary hospitalization. Engagements with first responders included unnecessary escalation or coercive tactics, or conversely, refusal of service. While stakeholders lauded the value of police trained through the city's Crisis Intervention Team program, they emphasized the need for additional response strategies that reduce the role of armed police, and underscored the need for broader social and behavioral health services for individuals at-risk of such crises. In an effort to improve police responses for handling incidents involving people with mental illness (PWMI), many police departments have adopted the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) model. However, to date, there has been very little published research that has focused on examining factors related to the adoption of CIT models through the lens of police chiefs. To help fill this gap in the literature, the current study used data collected from a sample of 204 police chiefs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to examine variables related to departmental adoption of the CIT model. Findings show that several factors (e.g., chief training, chief educational attainment, and departmental resources) were associated with departmental adoption of the CIT model. Limited empirical data and research exists about stigmatizing attitudes and perceptions held by law enforcement officers towards persons with mental illness and substance use issues. Pre- and post-training survey data from 92 law enforcement personnel who attended a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training was used to investigate training-related changes in mental illness stigma and substance use stigma. Training participant's mean age was 38.35 ± 9.50 years, majority white non-Hispanic race/ethnicity (84.2%), male gender (65.2%), and reported job category as road patrol (86.9%). Pre-training, 76.1% endorsed at least one stigmatizing attitude towards people with mental illness, and 83.7% held a stigmatizing attitude towards those with substance use problems. Cel artykułu/hipoteza. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji podatku minimalnego od nieruchomości komercyjnych oraz dokonanie oceny wprowadzonej regulacji, w tym sformułowanie postulatów de lege ferenda. Metodyka. Przenalizowana została ewolucja regulacyjna tego podatku w latach 2018–2020 oraz jej wpływ na rozliczenia podatników z tego tytułu. Wyniki/Rezultaty badania. Podatek ten ma w szczególności zapobiegać unikaniu opodatkowania poprzez niewykazywanie dochodu przez duże spółki nieruchomościowe, posiadające nieruchomości komercyjne o znacznej wartości. Podatkiem minimalnym od nieruchomości komercyjnych objęty został niecały 1% wszystkich podatników CIT. Około 1/3 podatników nie odliczyła w pełni należnego podatku minimalnego od nieruchomości komercyjnych od podatku CIT obliczonego na zasadach ogólnych. Efekt zwiększonego obciążenia podatkowego, przynajmniej przejściowego, był dość znaczący dla tej grupy podatników. Zdaniem autorów, szereg rozwiązań zabezpieczających neutralność tego podatku sprawia, że rozwiązanie to należy ocenić zasadniczo jako adekwatny i w większości przypadków nienadmiarowy środek antyabuzywny.

This study investigated the use of real-time PCR melting curves for the diagnosis of blaKPC and blaNDM genes among the most frequently detected carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae in Korea. As a means of addressing the shortcomings of phenotype tests and conventional PCR. The modified Hodge test confirmed positivity in 25 of 35 strains, and carbapenemase inhibition testing confirmed positivity in 14 strains by meropenem+PBA or meropenem+EDTA. PCR analysis showed amplification products in 25 strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemases (KPC), 10 of K. pneumoniae, 5 of E. coli, 5 of A. baumannii, 4 of P. aeruginosa, and 1 of P. putida. New Delhi metallo β-lactamase (NDM) identified amplification products in 8 strains, that is, 2 K. pneumoniae, 3 E. coli, 1 P. aeruginosa, 1 E. cloacae, and 1 P. retgeri strains. Real-time PCR melting curve analysis confirmed amplification in 25 strains of KPC and 8 strains of NDM, and these results were 100% consistent with PCR results. In conclusion, our findings suggest early diagnosis of carbapenem resistant Enterobacteriaceae by real-time PCR offers a potential means of antibacterial management that can prevent and control nosocomial infection spread.

Background: This study aimed to identify risk factors for postreperfusion syndrome (PRS) and its impact on LT outcomes. Methods: Data analysis was performed in 1021 adult patients undergoing donation after brain death (DBD) LT to identify PRS incidence, the risk factors for PRS development, and its impact on LT outcomes. Results: The overall incidence of PRS was 16.1%. Independent risk factors for PRS included donor age (odds ratio (OR) 1.01, P =.02), donor body mass index (BMI) (OR 1.04, P =.003), moderate macrosteatosis (OR 2.48, P =.02), and cold ischemia time (CIT) (OR 1.06, P =.02). On multivariable analysis for 30‐day graft failure, PRS (hazard ratio (HR) 3.49; P <.001) and Model for End‐stage Liver Disease (MELD) score (HR 1.01; P =.05) were independent risk factors. Patients were categorized into four distinct groups based on PRS risk groups and MELD groups, which showed different 1‐year graft survival (P <.001). There were comparable outcomes between low PRS risk ‐ high MELD and high PRS risk ‐ low MELD group (P =.33). Conclusions: Donor age, donor BMI, moderate macrosteatosis, and CIT were identified as risk factors for the development of PRS in LT using DBD grafts. To detect if someone hides specific knowledge (called "probes"), the response time-based Concealed Information Test (RT-CIT) asks the examinee to classify items into two categories (targets/non-targets). Within the non-targets, slower RTs to the probes reveal recognition of concealed information. The preferred protocol examines one piece of information per test block (single probe protocol), but its validity is suboptimal. The aim of this study was to improve the validity of the single probe protocol by presenting the information in multiple modalities. In a preregistered study (N = 388) participants were instructed to try to hide their nationality. The items referring to the nationality were presented as words, flags, and maps. Increasing the number of modalities of the targets (BF10 = 37), but not of the probes and irrelevants (BF01 = 6), increased the CIT-effect. Background: Daily vegetable intake is considered an important behavioural health resource associated with improved immune function and lower incidence of non-communicable disease. Analyses of population-based data show that being female and having a high educational status is most strongly associated with increased vegetable intake. In contrast, men and individuals with a low educational status seem to be most affected by non-daily vegetable intake (non-DVI). From an intersectionality perspective, health inequalities are seen as a consequence of an unequal balance of power such as persisting gender inequality. Unravelling intersections of socially driven aspects underlying inequalities might be achieved by not relying exclusively on the male/female binary, but by considering different facets of gender roles as well. This study aims to analyse possible interactions of sex/gender or sex/gender related aspects with a variety of different socio-cultural, socio-demographic and socio-economic variables with regard to non-DVI as the health-related outcome.Method: Comparative classification tree analyses with classification and regression tree (CART) and conditional inference tree (CIT) as quantitative, non-parametric, exploratory methods for the detection of subgroups with high prevalence of non-DVI were performed. Complete-case analyses (n = 19,512) were based on cross-sectional data from a National Health Telephone Interview Survey conducted in Germany.Results: The CART-algorithm constructed overall smaller trees when compared to CIT, but the subgroups detected by CART were also detected by CIT. The most strongly differentiating factor for non-DVI, when not considering any further sex/gender related aspects, was the male/female binary with a non-DVI prevalence of 61.7% in men and 42.7% in women. However, the inclusion of further sex/gender related aspects revealed a more heterogenous distribution of non-DVI across the sample, bringing gendered differences in main earner status and being a blue-collar worker to the foreground. In blue-collar workers who do not live with a partner on whom they can rely on financially, the non-DVI prevalence was 69.6% in men and 57.4% in women respectively.Conclusions: Public health monitoring and reporting with an intersectionality-informed and gender-equitable perspective might benefit from an integration of further sex/gender related aspects into quantitative analyses in order to detect population subgroups most affected by non-DVI. This study examined the impact of non-oil taxation inflow on economic growth in selected West African countries using World Bank panel data from 1999 to 2018. Ten (10) West African countries were purposefully selected from 1999 to 2018. Specifically, five francophone and Anglophone countries were selected for this study. Panel data analysis was employed to articulate the effect of independent variables (company income tax, Value added tax, Education tax, and Custom and excise duties.) inflow on dependent variable (economic growth (GDP)). The results showed that corporate income tax, Value added tax, Education tax and Custom and excise duties had positive significant effect on economic growth of West African countries. In conclusion, non-oil taxation Inflow impacted economic growth significantly and positively in selected West African countries. This predicated that money realized as taxation income has been utilized effectively, productively and efficiently on economic enhancement in terms of employment creation, roads construction, income distribution, provision of infrastructural facilities and economic stability. This study postulated that West African countries should lay mush emphasis on the collection of non-oil taxation effectively especially VAT and CIT, and expend much of this revenue prudently for the augmentation and enrichment of the populace.

Polska jest krajem o najbardziej zmiennym i nieprzewidywalnym prawie ze wszystkich państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej. W ciągu ostatnich 16 lat, czyli od momentu wejścia Polski do struktur UE, uchwalanych jest średnio blisko 21 tys. stron ustaw i rozporządzeń rocznie. O ile liczba zmian przepisów ogółem od 2017 r. nieznacznie spada, o tyle w kwestiach podatkowych zauważalny jest trend rosnący. Rewolucja systemu podatkowego przyniosła nie tylko znaczne zaostrzenie przepisów, ale także wymogów sprawozdawczych, co utrudnia prowadzenie działalności gospodarczej. JPK, ceny transferowe, split payment, biała lista, STIR, MDR to niektóre z pojęć, z którymi przedsiębiorcy muszą się oswajać od niedawna. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ocena systemu podatkowego w Polsce. Artykuł w sposób syntetyczny prezentuje również czynności legislacyjne organów skarbowych podejmowane w celu uszczelnienia luki podatkowej w Polsce. Podstawową metodę badawczą stanowi badanie ankietowe przeprowadzone wśród przedsiębiorców z województwa podkarpackiego oraz analiza literatury z omawianego zakresu. Przeprowadzone badania wskazują na brak stabilności oraz znaczne zmniejszenie transparentności przepisów podatkowych, a także na obciążenie przedsiębiorców wieloma dodatkowymi czynnościami mającymi za zadanie walkę administracji rządowej z szarą strefą w Polsce.

Deception studies emphasize the important role of event-related potentials (ERPs) to uncover deceptive behavior based on underlying neuro-cognitive processes. The role of conflict monitoring as indicated by the frontal N2 component during truthful and deceptive responses was investigated in an adapted Concealed Information Test (CIT). Previously memorized pictures of faces should either be indicated as truthfully trustworthy, truthfully untrustworthy or trustworthy while concealing the actual untrustworthiness (untrustworthy-probe). Mean, baseline-to-peak and peak-to-peak amplitudes were calculated to examine the robustness of ERP findings across varying quantification techniques. Data of 30 participants (15 female; age: M = 23.73 years, SD = 4.09) revealed longer response times and lower correct rates for deceptive compared to truthful trustworthy responses. The frontal N2 amplitude was more negative for untrustworthy-probe and truthful untrustworthy compared to truthful trustworthy stimuli when measured as mean or baseline-to-peak amplitude. Results suggest that deception evokes conflict monitoring and ERP quantifications are differentially sensitive to a-priori hypotheses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: To estimate the risk of thrombocytopenia in various cancers and chemotherapy regimens. Methods: Structured patient‐level data from the Flatiron Health Electronic Health Record database were used to identify adult patients who received chemotherapy for a solid tumor or hematologic malignancy from 2012 to 2017. Three‐month cumulative incidence of thrombocytopenia was assessed based on platelet counts, overall and by grade of thrombocytopenia. Co‐occurrence of anemia, neutropenia, and leukopenia was evaluated. Results: Of 15,521 patients with solid tumors, 13% had thrombocytopenia within 3 months (platelet count < 100 × 109/L); 4% had grade 3 (25 to < 50 × 109/L), and 2% grade 4 (<25 × 109/L) thrombocytopenia. Of 2537 patients with hematologic malignancies, 28% had any thrombocytopenia, 16% with grade 3, and 12% with grade 4. Among patients with thrombocytopenia, it occurred without another cytopenia in 18% of solid tumors and 7% of hematologic malignancies. Conclusions: In a large, US‐representative sample of patients undergoing chemotherapy in clinical practice, thrombocytopenia incidence varied across tumor and regimen types. Despite recommendations to alter chemotherapy to avoid severe thrombocytopenia, 4% of patients with solid tumors and 16% with hematologic malignancies experienced grade 3 thrombocytopenia. This study aimed to analyze the satisfaction of teachers and their repurchase intention on the product quality, educational quality, and service quality of using Experimental (practice) Teaching Aids (ETA). The purpose of this is to provide guidance to companies in the development of new products and contents, and to give teachers insight through statistical data. The CIT (Critical Incident Technique) which was conducted first, has generated a total of 142 core events. As a result of this, the teachers had negative experiences about product quality, while the positive experiences were about the convenience in the purchase and usage of the product. Also, there were more positive responses to experiences in the service-related part of ETA companies. The second questionnaire was analyzed through empirical analysis that product quality, educational quality, and service quality had a positive (+) effect on teacher's satisfaction, and teacher's satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on repurchase intention, and all research hypotheses were adopted. In particular, service quality was measured by transforming the five-dimensional attributes of the existing SERVQUAL (adding Accessibility items), and this proved to be one of the most important variables. The results of this study can be used as a basic data for the development and distribution of new products and contents for ETA and contents for manufacturing companies. Background: Thrombocytopenia is one of the most common toxicities of chemotherapy, causing symptoms ranging from mild petechiae to debilitating bleeding. These effects can lead to treatment delay and discontinuation, which subsequently affects outcome. The data on chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia is scarce, especially from the developing world, and until now there is no consensus on the appropriate management of this complication. Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Methods: Medical records of acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients who were diagnosed and treated in 2019 at the only center for pediatric hematologic and oncologic disorders in Armenia - the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia - were retrospectively reviewed. Results: A total of 29 patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, who were subsequently treated with International BFM (Berlin, Frankfurt, Muenster) Study Group acute lymphoblastic leukemia IC BFM 2009 protocol and achieved remission, were included in the current study. 17 (58%) patients were males. The median age was 4.5y. and range, 18 months - 17 years. 5 patients had T-acute lymphoblastic leukemia and 24 patients, Bacute lymphoblastic leukemia. During induction therapy, 11 patients (38%) developed critical thrombocytopenia with platelet counts ranging from 21×10 3/L to 46×10³/L. During consolidation therapy, 16 patients (55%) developed moderate thrombocytopenia, with platelet counts ranging from 70×10³/L to 86×10³/L and 6 (21%) patients had critical thrombocytopenia, with platelet counts ranging from 27×10³/L to 36×10³/L. During the re-induction phase of therapy, 21 (72%) patients developed critical chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia with platelet counts ranging from 13×10³/L to 45×10³/L. Isolated thrombocytopenia occurred in 3 (10%) of the patients. Thrombocytopenia was managed by platelet transfusion. The median (range) pre-transfusion platelet count was 10×109/L (5×109 -13×109/L) and increased significantly post-transfusion to 22×109/L. Conclusions: During the course of therapy the vast majority of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia developed clinically significant thrombocytopenia. Although our study is small and involves the cases from one year, it includes all the acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients treated in Armenia. The study clearly shows that chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia is a very common complication of acute lymphoblastic leukemia therapy and larger studies needed to explore these findings. Attending summer camp can be a developmentally enriching experience for both campers and camp staff. However, many camps offer programming that is situated between the camper and counselor roles, namely counselor-in-training (CIT) programs. While CIT programs are common, there is a lack of research documenting the form, function, and outcomes of participation in them. Consequently, the purpose of this study was to understand the nature and benefits of camp-based adolescent leadership programs. To inform this purpose, we surveyed CIT program directors and asked them to describe various aspects of their programs. We also collected primary data directly from CIT participants so that we could include participants' perspectives in our study. Results indicated that CITs gained a variety of social and emotional skills from their CIT experience. These findings are discussed and implications for practitioners are proposed. The reaction time-based concealed information test (RT CIT) typically uses three types of stimuli: 1) probe (i.e., crime-related item), 2) irrelevant (i.e., crime-unrelated item) and 3) target (i.e., an irrelevant item assigned a unique response so as to ensure attention to the test). Lukács, et al., (2017) introduced familiarity-related filler items to the RT CIT, enhancing the efficacy of the test for both single and multiple probe (per block) protocols. Our study aims to A) replicate the effects of familiarity-related filler items on the RT CIT, B) use P300 to investigate the mechanisms of the fillers-related enhancement effect on the RT CIT, C) investigate whether these fillers can enhance the efficacy of the typical P300-based CIT, and D) explore the effects of fillers on the semantic and episodic versions of the P300 and RT CITs. We replicated a clear fillers-related enhancement of the RT CIT (N = 38 for Fillers, N = 37 for No Fillers). Semantic and Episodic experiments were enhanced equally-well by filler items. No effect of fillers was observed on P300 amplitude for CIT stimuli, however, an interaction involving P300 latency suggests that fillers facilitated the processing of Semantic information over Episodic information. Our study independently replicates a valuable improvement of the traditional RT CIT, investigates the potential mechanisms of this enhancement effect, and demonstrates important differences between the P300 and RT CITs. • We investigated the effects of filler items on behavioral and neural-based information tests (CITs) • The Fillers group had CITs with three familiar fillers and six unfamiliar fillers • The No Fillers group had the usual CITs without fillers • Fillers enhanced Semantic and Episodic behavioral CITs, but failed to enhance the neural CITs. Introduction: Despite increasing awareness of the negative impact of cold ischemia time (CIT) in liver transplantation, its precise influence in different subgroups of liver transplant recipients has not been analyzed in detail. This study aimed to identify liver transplant recipients with an unfavorable outcome due to prolonged cold ischemia.Methods: 40,288 adult liver transplantations, performed between 1998 and 2017 and reported to the Collaborative Transplant Study were analyzed.Results: Prolonged CIT significantly reduced graft and patient survival only during the first post-transplant year. On average, each hour added to the cold ischemia was associated with a 3.4% increase in the risk of graft loss (hazard ratio (HR) 1.034, P < 0.001). The impact of CIT was strongest in patients with hepatitis C-related (HCV) cirrhosis with a 24% higher risk of graft loss already at 8–9 h (HR 1.24, 95% CI 1.05–1.47, P = 0.011) and 64% higher risk at ≥14 h (HR 1.64, 95% CI 1.30–2.09, P < 0.001). Everyone, every day or almost every day, uses various type of services, without being even aware of it. They could have been both intangible and material services. Customers want to receive services of the highest quality, and service providers are looking for solutions to meet their requirements. They can analyze the quality of their services to indicate the strengths and weaknesses of these services to know what needs to be improved and what can be omitted. In the literature on the quality engineering, many methods that can be used in such a situation are described. In most cases, these methods are based on the differences between customers’ expectations for the service and the perception of the service which they received. In case of most of these method, there is a need of information from customers about research service, which means that they are involved in this process. In the paper five methods of quality service analysis, which are the most often used by service enterprises, were briefly characterizes to help readers to choose the most accurate one for them.
