CARBON dioxide , *TRANSPORTATION , *EMISSIONS (Air pollution) , *CLIMATE change , *TRANSPORTATION industry , *TRANSPORTATION laws - Abstract
The aim of this article is to prove the connection between CO2 emission and climate change, and to estimate the CO2 emission of the transport sector in Hungary. We have to clarify the emission of the transport sector in order to get information on externalities, which is a further step toward a sustainable society. The sustainable development is a development, where the pace of technical development, the satiation of increasing supply and the raw materials and resources of Earth are poised so that the rate of living and opportunities of the next generations need not be worse. One of the most emphasized goals of the transport policy of the European Union is sustainable mobility. For this reason transportation systems must be developed and standardized, the effectiveness of transportation services must be increased, while the environmental pollution must be decreased or prevented. Decoupling motorization from environmental pollution is the task for engineers. Decoupling the increase of economical activity from mobility is the task for economists. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Trečiame skyriuje pateikiama granitinio tinko gyvavimo ciklo analizė, kuria norima nustatyti, galimą poveikį aplinkai ir žmogui, naudojant vietines ar atvežtines medžiagas., In recent times, it‘s particularly relevant both in Lithuania and in the other countries of the world, which have an attractive environment for tourism, to build new buildings or destroy old architectural heritage buildings, to create attractive objects for commercial purposes usually. Such transformations are carried out regardless of the management and usage traditions – the authenticity of the cultural heritage is being destroyed. Instead of doing this, heritage buildings could be used for other functions. Sustainable usage of theses buildings would help to reduce natural pollution and preserve historical values of the city. The aim of the master‘s final degree project is to analyze renovation of heritage buildings in accordance with the principles of sustainability. The project is divided into the introduction and three main chapters, conclusions, a list of literature and appendices. Work size – 77 pages, 46 images, 7 data tables, 32 literary sources and 2 appendices. The introduction is dedicated for a presentation to the problem and its topicality. There are also formulated the aim and tasks of the work: the used methods and novelty of solutions are described, as well as usage possibilities. The first chapter covers an analysis of existing scientific publications related to the problems of the thesis. At the end of the chapter the conclusions are formulated. The second chapter introduces research methodology, describes obtained results and used tools. The study of the microclimate of the premises of the modernist architectural heritage buildings are described in the work, using objective – measurement of temperature, relative humidity of the air and CO2 concentration, and subjective – by submitting questionnaires to students and employees at the premises of the building. According to the results obtained in the studied room, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study was carried out, using the FloVENT computer software. Two ventilation methods were created to ensure better indoor air quality. The third chapter presents an analysis of the life cycle analysis of a granite plaster, which seeks to determine the possible damage for the environment and people done by using local or imported materials.

Eksperimento metu tirta kokią įtaką kviečių stambumas, drėgnis, užterštumas priemaišomis ir užkrėstumas mikotoksinais (deoksinivalenoliu) turėjo grūdų kvėpavimo intensyvumui ir kokybės pokyčiams laikant juos 6 sav. uždaroje talpykloje. Grūdų kokybė vertinta pagal bendro mikroorganizmų kiekio, tirpiųjų baltymų kiekio, riebalų rūgštingumo rodiklius. Grūdams kvėpuojant išsiskyrusių CO2 koncentracija matuota dviem būdais: dujų analizatoriumi OPTIMA 7 BIOGAS (Phoenix Instrumentation Pty Ltd., JAV) ir CO2 dujų davikliu CO2 Engine K30 FR (SenseAir, Švedija)., During the experiment, it was tested what influence did the coarseness, humidity, impurities and contamination with micotoxins (deoxivalenol) had for the intensity of the grain breathing and for the changes of quality when they were held for 6 weeks in the closed silo. The quality of the grain is assessed according to the indicators of the total amount of micro-organisms, the amount of soluble proteins and the indicator of the fat acidity. During the breathing of the grain the concentration of the emitted CO2 is measured in two ways: with the gas analyser "OPTIMA 7 BIOGAS" ("Phoenix Instrumentation Pty Ltd.", USA) and with the CO2 gas monitor CO2 "Engine K30 FR" ("SenseAir", Sweden).
